October 29, 200519 yr OMFG! We beat West Ham 2-0Xabi (and Zenden) scored! w00t! I'm so ecstatic. A) We won B) It was against the Hammers (who I rate) C) We scored more than 2 goals D) We kept another clean sheet but I'm not going to be too optimistic. This is only one victory and if we don't build on the result we'll still be fighting in the bottom half. And it doesn't excuse us for losing to Fulham and Palace either <_< But I'm still happy somewhat <{POST_SNAPBACK}> apparently Xabi's goal was good (Y)
October 29, 200519 yr someone threw a conker at Jens Lehman's head in the Spurs match and he rolled around on the floor for a few minutes apparently.
October 29, 200519 yr That serves him right... Damn Lehmann is a clown and I'm trying to download Xabi's goal now, but not many people have it up yet. Maybe tomorrow. (and of course it was good, it was by Xabi )
October 29, 200519 yr Highlights for the Milan-Juve gamehttp://rapidshare.de/files/6939538/2005-10...ventus.wmv.html
October 30, 200519 yr Milan 3-1 Juventus <{POST_SNAPBACK}> sickening . . . i wish Inter or Juventus to win the Italian title this year, not Berlusconi's AC Milan <_<
October 30, 200519 yr Man Utd. got spanked 4-1 by Middlesborough. is kinda ironic that Man Utds 1000th premiership goal was meaningless
October 30, 200519 yr I watched the highlights. All goals were quality, though if Juve had Buffon, they probably wouldn't have conceded Seedorf's and certainly not Pirlo's. Either way it was a good result. (Y) I Kaka and Pirlo Anyone want to take a stab on the scoreline for the midweek match between Juve and Bayern? And scorers?
October 30, 200519 yr Barry what do you have against milanThe Juve Bayern game will probally end 1-0 for Juve with Del Piero scoring
October 30, 200519 yr If Buffon was in net I still think Seedorf's goal would have went in but probally not pirlo'sMilan may have been a little lucky, but they deserved to win Gattuso was on a mission and Kaka, Pirlo, and Seedorf dominated Viera and Emerson, and Maldini and Nesta were rocks in the back
October 31, 200519 yr Barry what do you have against milanThe Juve Bayern game will probally end 1-0 for Juve with Del Piero scoring <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i much prefer Inter or Juventus. AC just irritate me and they are owned by Silvio Berlusconi which annoys me further since he seems a rather unscrupulous character and because politics should have no place in football let alone sport as a whole. i like Kaka but the rest of the team do nothing for me . . . <_< sorry but i don't like them. apologies. if it's any consolation i dislike arsenal and real madrid more than AC.
October 31, 200519 yr Pirlo's free kick landed in front of the keeper and the Juve keeper got a hand on it. If not for the positioning, I think the Juve keeper could have saved it. I think Buffon wouldn't have been in such a bad position in the first place and Buffon seems a lot more athletic than whoever was between the sticks for Juventus that match.Vieira's been showing some good form since he went to Serie A, he's attacking more and having to defend less. I think they are overhyped because they were in Arsenal and when you join a big club like Juve or Milan, you suddenly get put into place.Henry is overhyped. He's a great player, and he'll score and set up anywhere from 30 yards out. He has creative brilliance, but ask him to poach like Van Nistelrooij or any other striker and he'll have a hard time getting the ball in from 6 yards. He's also never around in big matches. You might as well start with 10 players on the pitch most of the time.
October 31, 200519 yr Is it just me or is Viera and Henry the most over-rated palyers in the world <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Henry is very good. he doesn't do quite as well at international level as he should though . . . Vieira used to be good (but also real dirty) but to me it seems like he is in a downward spiral. hence why he went to italy . . . just kiddin'. Vieira held Arsenal together so i have had to reconsider my view on him . . .
October 31, 200519 yr True, I guess you gotta give him credit for that, but I'm impressed by his attacking ability as well. He played a nice chip for Trezeguet.
October 31, 200519 yr i don't believe that the police arrested a man for swearing loudly at sol campbell . . . <_<
October 31, 200519 yr They arrested a man for swearing at him? I guess the cops on England have nothing better to do with their time
October 31, 200519 yr They arrested a man for swearing at him? I guess the cops on England have nothing better to do with their time <{POST_SNAPBACK}> sol campbell elbowed two players and they did nothing but a guy swore at sol campbell at the end of the match and they arrested him and now the supporter could be banned from football matches for the rest of his life it's crazy . . . . they're also investigating the incident where a person threw a conker at Jens Lehmann's head. that was comical . . .
October 31, 200519 yr Lehmann is a clown and he deserves it.Campbell is a traitor. I don't think swearing at him is anything new. And the penalty is REALLY harsh :|
