How do I extract files using this program?

People say that extracting files is very easy

but i don't seem to really understand how to do it because

what i do is i choose the file and press extract but nothing

seems to happen the file is still the way it is...

why filzip?

winrar says its not a free software but you can still use it anytime you want

What is file zip anyway ? If you are using XP or vista you already get the build-in feature to exract and read .zip files easy. Or there is also the other thing made to read .zip, and .rar files and thats Winrar. The famous rar compression tool. This post is very old and i hope that guy still visit this forum and tell us the right thing to causing problem .
