She became known as an actress and screenwriter in 2003, after the release of the film Thirteen, and has since appeared in several low-budget films, including Lords of Dogtown and Mini's First Time. She'd been doing a few indie movies since The OC, but I can't wait for her to do some more mainstream stuff as well - it's hard to get a hold of her indie stuff here in Europe!
