Could you make some setting changes on your scanner? I feel kinda sorry to say this but the scans look grainy as if they are printed on newspaper.

I'm Sorry. We got a new scanner so I will try to rescan and edit my post. Sorry.

After posting I note the qaulity isn't any better. If you have any ideas on what I need to do to fix it. Please let me know.

Update: Images have been removed and will be rescanned.

May be you should try to scan smaller... I was resizing some pictures yesterday and they came out much better than before. My scanner is the opposite. I want to scan 600dpi but it allows only 300dpi and some pics come out looking hazy. I will replace it as soon as I can.
