Well, I'm sure everyone knows Heidi Klum and Claudia Schiffer. Both are famous in Germany as well as all over the world. Everyone who is into fashion or models knows also Julia Stegner I think. I wouldn't say that she's more famous in Germany than in any other country. It's probably the same.

Other international famous/successful models are/were Nadja Auermann, Tatjana Patitz and Eva Padberg.

I think people, who aren't into fashion probably don't know them. Maybe their name would sound familiar to them^^, but that's it, I think.

Eva Padberg is probably more famous in Germany than somewhere else.

Here in the US the most popular models now are Gisele and Heidi. They are celebrities. Also Kate and Naomi are always being talked about. Adriana is the most famous VS model here. Petra is pretty famous here too. and of course all of the great Supers of the 90's are still very famous here (Cindy,Christy,Claudia,Linda) etc...
