iTW from HB Kaz. You first took to the podium 10 years ago. What has changed over this decade? 10 years ago, no one had smartphones, so when running between auditions, fittings and shows, you had to use a map. Having received the calling list the day before, it was necessary to decide how to get from one point to another. Sometimes I really miss that time, the turmoil. If we talk about the industry as a whole, social media is playing a huge role now. I think this is good, because with their help, people's voices have become louder. What do you love about modeling and what are you missing in 2020? This year is really weird for the fashion industry and for life in general. I love creativity. No profession in the world can compare with the work of a model. I feel like a blank canvas when I go to shoot, and then, with the whole team, we create unique shots. I really miss traveling, the feeling of freedom during the next trip. From now on, I will definitely not take such a possibility for granted. About what is happening now in the world, I can only say that it was a terrible year for everyone, and the realization of this makes me sad. What are you doing besides modeling? I studied health coaching and nutritional science. I'm not sure what to do with this in the future, but right now I enjoy doing research and helping people figure out their health. What are your strengths and weaknesses, as well as what you value and dislike in people. I would say that I am a loyal friend, often I care about others more than about myself. I really care about my family, fiance and friends, who also became my family in New York. Loyalty is the most important quality for me. Sometimes I get impatient and really hate it when people are late. Perhaps this is a common feature of all Capricorns, haha. What's your life motto? Carpe diem (seize the moment - HB). My parents raised me on this principle, and I believe that you need to value every day and get the most out of it. You once said that if you have a lot of money, you will go to Africa. Did you manage to go there and what place in the world is your favorite now? Yes. My fiance is from Cape Town (Cape Town is one of the three capitals of South Africa. - HB). Cape Town is my favorite place on Earth. I was there 4 times, and in December I received a marriage proposal there. There is something magical about him. You have a wedding next summer, right? Share your feelings and tell us how the preparation for the event is going. I really hope that COVID will not interfere with us. Otherwise, the wedding will have to be postponed because we are responsible for our guests. Now we still continue to prepare and hold our fists to ensure that everything goes smoothly. There is so much to do, but we are extremely happy! What's the most exciting thing about growing up and starting a family? I think that modeling makes you grow up very quickly. I was 15 years old when I started, and when you travel the world alone, growing up is a must. While we do not plan to children , but in the future I will, of course, would like to become a mother. In my opinion, getting married is already a big step, and we want to enjoy it to our fullest. How do you plan to spend this year? To be honest, we are still very careful not to make any travel plans. Most likely, we will spend these two months at home in New York, which is a little unusual. We usually go to the Netherlands for Christmas and Cape Town for New Years. But I'm curious to see what New York has to offer.
