I think they were waiting to see how she'd go in the 2012 VSFS to then sign with her; I mean, she was supposed to open a segment with Rihanna and walk right after Candice in Angels in Bloom with also a performance by Rihanna; I see that it was VS testing the water before signing with her, she could have been a BOOM or a MEH, if she was a BOOM than VS would have signed her in 2013 just like they did with Karlie; And Chanel, I think Lais was the main reason why she left; VS chose Lais for the 2011 Holiday commercial, gave 3 outfits for Lais in the 2011 VSFS + credits; IMO they fired Chanel because they wanted Lais, but well, everything went wrong in the 2012 VSFS rehearsel btw, Lais and Chanel dont get along; they dont follow each other on IG and once Lais posted a photo of an editorial they made for Vogue Italia together and then Lais tagged every single model in the pic + the editorial crew but didn't tag Chanel.... the rumors on Lais vs Chanel are pure gold Oh well, the next to go

I don't know but in Brazil 36 is the smallest size with 38 coming right after 36... It's not a big difference but in HF things are weird;

When it comes to Lais, we can't say she's a bad spokesmodel.... The fact is, she's never been promoting anything for VS. I'm not saying she's gained weight like crazy, no, hell no, but she herself said in a brazilian talk show that she used to wear 36 and now she's 38 cause VS likes more curvier girls and everything and she's clearly gained some weight, and we all know how HF is though on weight issues, BUT I agree with you and I don't think it would be a problem for her, she just can pull of everything; I also love her in VS and yes she's perfect for the brand but VS just treats her like shit, and she deserves better than this; a model like Lais shouldn't be treated like an ordinary model Agree with you two @jay_hk @toodarnhot

Exactly, she totally blew away her HF career (Tom Ford campaign, walked for almost every single designer from NY to Shangai, editorials and covers for Vogue/Elle) in favour of VS and THAT'S how they pay her back! They're treating her like trash

There's not even one second of Lais in the Swim Special trailer, she's def the next to go and I hope she goes soon; can't wait to see her losing weight and going back to high fashion were she's awesome too. VS is just stupid, they in fact are letting the angels with the smallest number of followers go, but with Lais is different...They don't even try to push her, they post a picture of her once in a year and that's it! It's a shame cause that girl itself is a goddess; How do they want someone (Lais) to become big if they (her best pushing machine) don't give a f*** about her?? But well, she's there just for catalogues and stuff because all they need is Jasmine; it feels like her angel status is totally symbolic, like a gift for putting VS in front of High Fashion, working hard with them in the past 6 years and everything, but in fact she's just the same thing she was in 2011, 2013 and 2014 > on the credits of VSFS, good outfits, but dont talk in the show; her best time was in 2013 and 2011... Btw, I think VS should use Guy Aroch's work on their campaigns; his new Coca-Cola campaign is just amazingly beautiful and I haven't seen a person who doesn't like it

Gosh the 2014 BBV was so much better than 2015 and 2016... But Jasmine and Candice are looking pretty good Romee looks like a child, watching her in lingerie is just weird. she looks like a 14 yo girl, it's not cool

Okay in 2015 Lais, Jac, Taylor and Elsa were used the most along the Newest Angels and with this I mean, catalogues and campaigns... The BBV campaign was all about Elsa, Jac, Lais, Romee and Martha, there was like 3 pictures of the second group of angels Sara was used but only with Taylor and Luigi in that red set and the shoots with Guy Aroch, but out of this, almost nothing, her swim pics are lame... So I think it's natural that now they're using Jasmine, Romee, Stella and Martha; I mean, it's their time. Soon Lais, Elsa, Bee, Lily will come back I think But I wish they use Lais and Jasmine together so people would know who is who and stop changing their names hahaha and also they're a great duo Happy for Jo, sad for Jac but I know it was her decision

Agree +1 To me she with a little bit of lucky and good investiment can become something like Rosie or Chanel... she doesn't need VS at all

So, can VS please comeback on doing campaigns and shoots like these?? Man, I'm so tired of this damn "natural look" vibes from the new shoots and campaigns I hate it, and the worse is: IT SUCKS and people blaime the poor angels; the problem isn't with any of the Angels, they're all extraordinary -except Martha, that girl has literally nothing special-, the problem is with the TEAM! The make up sucks, the hair style sucks, the lightning sucks, the acessories they use sucks!! Everything works for not having a good campaign/catalogue The whole thing about the VS Angels in the past was the angel factor -haha- and people think that the model borns with the angel factor but the truth is: all the past angels were made Angels! And now the VS team dont want the new angels to look like angels anymore; they want them to look like damn ordinary humans VS has lost all the magic, there are no wings anymore, no glamourous looks in the show, not even one great picture for a campaign... There isn't any angel anymore, they're just using common models, they have the title, but they use wings and look like angels just once in a year by now... and it sucks! They should keep these Angels, yeah they can fire Martha, Stella, Romee, Lily, Kate and Jac, but they should keep with this line up; What they shouldn't keep is this damn "natural look" vibes cause it totally blows away the ANGEL FACTOR cause ANGELS ARE NOT HUMANS AND ANGELS LOOK LIKE ANGELS, NOT LIKE ORDINARY HUMANS, VS!! Anyway, keep the Angels, fire the creative team, buy some Maybelinne make up to use on the show and shoots, and we'll have old VS back with AMAAAAAZING ~Sophia's voice~ angels! (sorry, I know it doesn't add anything to the thread but I just had to say this cause VS is really stupid and disapointing)

This isn't a shoot, she told in a interview that she's shooting a new film campaign in this beautiful Palm Springs house and the heat was crazy so in the meantime she went to the bathroom, putted some bikini on and went to the pool - you can see the pool inside the house throught the glass so the photographer of the shoot, Jeff Stephens I guess, took the pictures. David Krauk was part of this shoot and he's Neiman Marcus' Senior Art Director, so I guess Lais is doing the new Neiman Marcus campaign
