I had no idea that Emrata was even considered for a cover last year. I saw tons of news outlets printing that they thought it would be Gigi. I said Chanel because I figure they're eventually going to put another black model on the cover and she's all they have. Don't get me started on how Jessica White was robbed. I also said Erin because she seems to be going the way Marisa and becoming well known to sports fans. My brother knows who Erin Heatherton is but has no idea who Gigi, Emrata, or Sara are.

Of the girls who have already shot, who do you think might get a cover? I think if its going to be a former cover model its Chrissy without a doubt and if its a girl who hasn't had the cover before, Chanel or Erin. I would add Gigi to the mix but she's not a very good model in my opinion and Yu isn't a very good photographer in my eyes and I don't see a cover image coming from that combination.

She's a pretty girl for sure, but she's pretty bland too, IMO. I think she's a very pretty girl but I agree that she is bland. VS has had Doutzen and Lindsay at the pretty girls before but they had faces made for beauty, whereas Martha doesn't.

She was born in late 1984 but when she started, her agency made her say she was 19 so people assumed she was born in 1986. It happens with a lot of models starting out, agencies will either make them older or younger.

I kind of agree but I wouldn't say her career has really suffered. She's become a lot more commercial since leaving vs. It's most mysterious with her because girls like Miranda, Doutzen, and Karlie seem like they quit VS while girls like Izabel and Lindsay seem to have left due to a mutual agreement with VS.

In Cameron's defense, no one would have been able to walk perfectly in that outfit. If you look at the outfit it was basically a tube. She had no choice but to be a bit stiff. I think that she looked amazing in it though, which I can't say for Lily.

You should add Izabel to the list because we know she'll be there.

Alessanda became an angel due to the launch of Pink. They made a huge deal about it with press releases and everything. During the Angels Across America tour she was touted as the Pink Angel. Miranda was also given a lot of special attention as the Pink girl.

Her hormones fucked up late 2008. Her complexion and shape changed... and she was never the same again Nah. I feel like she decided to quit on her own. Her contract ended in early 2008 didn't it? And she still walked the 2008 show and she was even interviewed and given screen time from what I recall (though something happened with one of her outfits if I remember). Karolina was my fave ex angel. We're both the same height (5'11) and have green eyes. Plus, on a height related note, we both know someone who claimed to be 5'11 but turned out to be a lie. . She was an angel until 2009 just like Selita. Izabel's contract ended in 2008 which is why she wasn't in the intro. Are you talking about Gisele? I always thought Gisele was 5'11 because she's taller than Adriana. I always figured Karolina was just 6'0.

Does anyone know why Karolina fell out of favor with VS or decided to quit? I don't know the story. She and Gisele were like the A team from 2002-2006 with Tyra and Heidi being the vets and Ale and Adri being the new girls. Was there no room to market her after her partner quit?

The thing is that the person who gets the fantasy bra isn't based on who deserves it. Adriana had to wait 8 year and Alessandra 12. Heidi got 3 fantasy bras from 1999 and 2003, yet Tyra who was definitely the bigger star had to wait 7 years to get her next one. Doutzen, who is one of their most famous models never got the fantasy bra. It doesn't matter how much a model deserves it or how hard they work. Its about whos right for it.

I think its more probable than not that the vets get 3. I'm kind of glad that Adriana and Alessandra didn't wear those fairytale outfits. Can you imagine Adri, Ale, and Izabel back to back. It would have been too much for me.

True but the reasons for that was that Adriana was pregnant and not back until well into the fittings and Alessandra had the fantasy bra. And in 2014 its because it took 30 minutes to get in and 20 minutes to get out of the body set for the fantasy bra.

I thought about that but VS definitely holds the veterans to a higher level than the new angels. Adriana, Ale, Candice, and Behati are going to get 3 outfits. There really should be no questions about that. I don't imagine Lily getting 2 unless she really isn't an angel anymore. I don't think any of the new angels qualify for a 3rd outfit and because they can't give them all 3 outfits, I'm thinking none. If they aren't going to give the vets and new girls the same by category, then if anything some of the new girls would get 1 outfit and others 2.

I think the breakdown might go like this, 3 Outfits: The old angels 2 Outfits: The new angels, Izabel (we know she'll be there), Lindsay (if she walks) and a few returning girls if there are any 1 Outfit: Rachel and all the new girls I don't see any of the new angels getting three outfits because they can only make so many outfits for a show that has to be cut for a hour. Adriana, Candice, and Behati are locks for 3 outfits and I'd wager Alessandra. Lily may get 2 but I think she's graduated to the group of 3 outfits. With the old angel getting 3, the new angels getting 2 and Rachel getting 1; thats 36 outfits.

why tho? I never understood why Marisa became an angel and got the fantasy bra so fast, girl couldnt even walk the runway properly Btw are there any rumors about the performers? I liked Marisa for VS but I definitely see why some people didn't. From 2006 to about 2010 Marisa was definitely more high profile than all of the other angels. She had a following from SI but 2005 & 2006 were like the years where she really overtook the other girls (Ana BB, Anne V, and Jessica White) and became the signature face of SI. She also had a look that no angel really had before, California blonde. There had been plenty of blondes and even Americans but there was never a mix. In a way Erin was like the unsuccessful answer to Marisa quitting, though I like her more.

If they do bring angels back I'd like to see Selita, Karolina, and Marisa of the angels who aren't locked into lingerie work with other brands. They are all still in great shape.

I really could see Candice getting her second bra. I don't find it realistic for Behati, Lily, or any of the new girls to get it. They don't seem on par with the level of notoriety that the girls who got it in the past were. I guess we can make the argument that Miranda was Orlando's wife but she was still more of a star than Lily and Behati.

I think it may be Adriana because it's the 20th year. Gisele had the 5 and 10 year anniversary bra's and Adriana had the 15 year anniversary bra. I feel as they'll give her a 4th one because she's VS's girl. I think that Doutzen not getting the fantasy bra isn't that surprising though, unfortunately. She became an angel in 2008 when Adriana got it. They weren't going to give it to anyone over Marisa in 2009, with Adriana not being there and Heidi pregant most of the ear she was the obvious choice. I think that if Karolina hadn't gotten sick in 2009 (and pregnant) she probably would have gotten a 3rd fantasy bra over Adriana although it can be argued that Alessandra deserved it. Miranda did deserve in 2011 (although I think she's problematic). 2012 was Alessandra's year. I think most people seem to like Doutzen more than Candice but she did deserve it after basically being the face of VS for years.

Because I pointed out that Gigi is as much of a legacy model as she is. Lol, her starting as a baby is even more proof that her parents are why she is where she is now. I feel like the new crew of instamodels are awful. I don't dislike that they have family connections because they can't help it but Gigi is a D+ model at best, Bella is a trash model, and Kendall is the biggest let down because she's like the girl who was given all the answers beforehand and still failed the test. The last group of girls who had family connections, Lily A, Lily D, and Cara were at least believable as models.

Besides Daria and Ana Beatriz, have any other girls turned down offers to be angels. Isn't there a rumor that Edita and Isabeli also turned down angel contracts?

Julia Stegner also had heavy wings in 2007 and 2008. I know a few girls carry heavy wings but Lindsay always seems to get a heavy pair and is always praised for being amazing with wings.

I think Lindsay's fairy tale wings were heavier. I read somewhere that she said that her wings in fairy tale were the biggest. I'll try to find it.
