One of the tags in the Loni Baur insta picture is 'handelsblatt', something like the German Wall Street Journal. They don't have a magazine focusing on fashion like WSJ does, but they do have some kind of glossy magazine, maybe that's what they were shooting for?

Hey guys, I just discovered this: https://models.com/rankings/voting/2015/readerschoice.html Toni is nominated for Best Model 'Humanitarian', so please do vote for her! Unfortunately, the poll will only be open until the 17th (2 more hours if you're in central Europe), so hurry up!

^great, thank you! Interview with Grazia Germany My translation You're flying around nonstop. Are you scared after the Paris attacks? I've always told myself that flying is much safer than driving. My family, however, is indeed worried about me now, but I'm not flying to Syria... I spend most of my time in big cities, I live in New York, and something can happen everywhere, unfortunately. But we must not stop doing what we love to do. Uhm, is it possible that your US accent has become stronger since we last met? Seriously? Thats terrible! (laughs) Nobody has ever told me that, but it's true that I don't speak much German... At the Elie Saab Dinner you were the tallest person in the room - again. How does it feel when everybody looks up to you? I'm used to it. And it isn't always the case, most of the time there are other models, so I have somebody at eye level. (laughs) But it's true, I was a bit surprised and thought: Okaay, so now let's all take a seat, people! The men in the room were blown away. Has a woman like you ever been brushed off? I have! I won't say when or by whom, but a few years ago I really liked someone. But he had zero interest in me, unfortunately. Maybe he was gay? No, he wasn't. Speaking of hoops [German pun, in German to be brushed off is 'to get a hoop / a basket]. You've been interested in basketball lately? Yes, I've been a fan for a few months now. (laughs) But I don't play myself, there are some videos where I really try to, you would die laughing. Did you bring your boyfriend [to Paris where she was interviewed]? He's in Dallas, he lives there. That means a lot of traveling for me. Hamburg - NYC - Dallas, NYC - Hamburg - Dallas and so on. But we write each other a lot of messages. I'm very happy. He also knows my family already. We looked up your GRAZIA horoscope for 2015. It said you were going to have a dedicated line to Venus and you were going to be in a relationship from June on... June, that late? What else? There will be a new job offer in December. And the cosmic advise is to search for a new creative hobby that really satisfies you. December is still long! I don't believe in horoscopes, but I guess one thing or the other is true. Something that has satisfied me this year: My charity work for Plan International. I visited the girls in Zimbabwe in August, and I want to double the amount I have already raised in order to build schools and enable fellowship programs. Where will you be spending Christmas this year? Always at home, in Hamburg where my grandparents live. Not in Dallas, where your boyfriend lives? Family always comes first. My family lives all over the place now, my parents for example in Switzerland and in Budapest. In Hamburg, my brother and I always go from one coffee party to the next, with a lot of Christmas cookies in the back of our car. Do you still bake a lot? Sure, but all my cookies, brownies and cupcakes are sugar free and vegan. Half of them doesn't taste good to most people - my family doesn't like them at all, because I always use kale and spinach for my cookies. For Christmas cookies?? Yes! It looks a bit disgusting, but tastes like banana. But everybody is like: Uhm, your muffin looks like a burger patty. (laughs) Do you sometimes indulge in sweet sins? Sure, I do eat my grandma's cake too. But vegan cookies aren't that low in calories either, because of all the nuts and the maple syrup. What's your wish this Christmas? Maybe a ring...? I never have any wishes for Christmas. But do you like to buy gifts for others? Absolutely! I collect ideas and gifts all year. On Christmas, I travel back home with two suitcases full of gifts. I arrive around the 18th and spend the time until Christmas eve wrapping presents. I love it! Do you have any sports resolutions for next year? I'll be on vacation for a week with a friend around New Year's, I have to be strict then. I have to get moving then. But it's also important for me to sleep more. Because of all the traveling I sleep very little. But in the 10 years in the industry now, I've never once taken a sleeping pill. Looking back, what was this year like for you? Very exciting, and a lot of things were very new to me. One of my highlights was traveling to Zimbabwe, I was almost without any mirror for three weeks and only showered four times. It was great!

I see my request to provide sources works very well. Where do you know that from? I've read all these Karlie fans going crazy on instagram, does anybody know what is up with Karlie and Taylor? Aren't they friends anymore?

^ Where is the second pic from? I don't know if I'm the only one and I don't want to complain because I'm thankful for all the contributions here, but I would really appreciate if you (and everyone) could post the sources of the pictures. It just makes it so much easier for everyone to keep track.

Apparently she talked to German Grazia about Chandler, headline is "Toni Garrn: He's met my parents already". You never know with German Grazia, but I'll try to pick up a copy tonight.

Re: Art Naaah, to be honest, Hunter & Gatti's stuff is just crap. Just because Basquiat was good, doesn't mean H&G is, too. I work in the art scene, and to be honest, I'm always a bit angry when I see people like Toni, Jon or all the other models and fashion people at Art Basel Miami. It's such a weird glam event and most of the events they attend are not even officially part of the art fair, just wannabe rich kids events that surround it. They are invited, I suppose, so I can't blame them for going, but the 'general public' gets such a weird idea of what art really is.

web.de The article says that Toni will play a major - or at least bigger than you'd think - role in the next season of GNTM. They already shot on the Canary Islands two weeks ago, but according to the article, there's more to come. German magazine "Gala" says she will be some sort of mentor to the candidates and appear on the show regularly. I hope it's not true tbh. I'd much rather see her work for magazines or even very commercial brands, but GNTM? "Gala" is not the most reliable magazine, but far away from the likes of InTouch. And they've always had some sort of 'connection' to Toni, sources in Hamburg or whatever, so it could be true after all. And it's all over the German Media now.

I'm confused, I thought the fragrance was called Rose Couture, but it's Le Parfum (which makes sense because it looks exactly like Anja's campaign for Le Parfum ) eliesaab / facebook elie saab

Maybe he was responsable for the shoot in LA. Or they simply met at a party? Or in Berlin? But I'm 100% sure the interview is old. It was posted and translated by me on tfs and posted here by ToniGarrnMania on December 24, 2014. (I looked it up by searching for 'Sweden', but I somehow can't link to the post, sorry.)

I actually looked up the interview you're referring to (it was posted a few pages back, but I completely missed it), and the interview is not new. It was posted on Oct 30, but it is in fact a very bad translation of an interview she gave German magazine Spiegel a while ago, when she was still with Leo. So I guess 10) doesn't exist.

it's such a cute video. I always thought she came across a bit cold, even in some of her latest persicope videos, but this one is really really cool. There's nothing really 'important', it's a video about her preparations for the Berlin Galas ("was nicht so gut geklappt hat" = what didn't work so well). The first scene shows her practice talk for the GQ awards. She starts with "Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I will now talk about..." and interrupts herself to say "I can't read it anymore. I have too many corrections in there." Then she starts practicing again. Second scene at a post office (more like a package storage), the whole post thing is hilarious because I'm sure everybody in Germany has a similar experience with Deutsche Post: "I'm searching for my dress" I have no idea what she says next (does anybody understand? She speaks so incredibly fast and unclear that I don't even understand her as a native speaker), but it ends with something like "I have to be ready in 3 hours". But the post office is closed. She says something like "amazing! amazing" in an ironic tone. Third scene: Her friend says: "Okay, let's practice one more time", Toni says "Mimimimi", which is <3, it doesn't really mean anything besides a lamenting "naaaah, I don't want to" (pretty common sound to make in German when you want to mock somebody who is being whiny. Fourth scene, at the post office again: "He (the man inside) is laughing so hard", then something I don't understand. She speaks with him and explains that she has received a package six hours ago and that the tracking system told her to come here to pick it up. The guy says that they are closed. They (I think her friend): "But we NEED it, it's really really urgent." Toni "But it IS open, I mean, we are here after all" Then they guy explains why she really can't get it. (Very weird, but very typical at Deutsche Post. ) Scene on stage is a bit of a real fail moment: She says something about Hilfiger and then stops to look at her cards / scripts, awkwardly long pause, then she says, looking at her script: "I've said that already, I've said that already, I've said that already", implying that she has no idea what to say know and is totally lost in her script. Applause and laughter. Eating scene: "I think the cleaning lady will kill us." Scene with the jumpsuit: "It hasn't changed much, only the pants are a bit tighter, it's better know." The next scene is not very interesting, she talks to some official at the AIDS Gala and tells him that she will give her speech in English, so Bill and Melinda Gates are able to understand her. The most interesting part about this scene is that her tone changes completely because she speaks to somebody 'important' at the Gala, she obviously respects him very much or at least tries to be very polite.

Confused - which project with Magda and Alina? And which Sweden shoot and which New York shoot? (Nr. 11?) Don't know which Sweden shoot you're talking about, but it's almost always for H&M. (Which would make sense, we've seen new catalogue pictures and a new lookbook is out in the print catalogue.)
