But the hashtag they used was #secretproject, I'd be glad if it was for any edition of Vogue, but it sounds more like something else to me. From Maison Siran's insta it seems they are presenting their first collection today. I couldn't find any infos about a show, maybe it's just a showroom presentation or a store launch. Unfortunately, I think the fitting Toni did was for them. Still hope it wasn't, I wanted her to walk a high profile show.

Rest of the Gala.de interview, translated by me. "I love my life" You once said that as a model, you're just a hanger for clothes. Do you still feel that way? That was mainly related to walking shows. If somebody wants to put a plastic bag over your head, you shouldn't take it personally, somebody has to wear the clothes at the end of the day. But in order to be really successful, to be the face of a brand, you need personality, too. How would you characterize the new "Rose Couture" fragrance by Elie Saab that you're the face of? "Feminine, yet strong" comes to mind. You'll be guest starring in the new season of Germany's next Top Model. Could you imagine hosting a show like this yourself? I love talking and I like being on stage, but I'm not sure how much time it would take to have a job like this. At the moment, I'm somewhere else each day, and I love my life the way it is. Some of your model friends are successful mostly thanks to Instagram. What do you think about that? It is a new world, and I had to get used to it at first. I know very beautiful girls who didn't want to do Instagram and who don't book jobs anymore. But it also has its pros: When I post a pic myself, I can influence what I post - as opposed to when paps take pictures. Is this why you recently posted a couple pic with your boyfriend Chandler? It just developed naturally. Both he and I are very open about our relationship. Your boyfriend is a professional basketball player. Are you interested in his sport? Now I am! I even know the rules and I watch his games whenever I can. I'm his biggest fan. Is he your Mr. Right? I'll probably only know that for sure when I'm 100 years old on my dying bed.

It is some kind of charity runway show benefiting Plan International.

So it looks like everybody (Karlie, Jourdan...) is walking Diane von Furstenberg, and no sign of Toni so far. Of course not. *sigh* Why can't she just walk a couple of GOOD shows to make us happy? Hope to see her soon.

so she's still in berlin? WHY? I thought she wanted to walk at NYFW.

Oh, you speak German? Didn't know! @kissnena

Screenshots from her GNTM appearance I thought she was really really sweet. I sometimes complained about her coming across as a bit arrogant, but in this case she seemed to genuinely enjoy her time at the show, she wasn't arrogant at all.

As expected, she'll be at the opening tonight. I highlighted the (more or less international) A-listers and relevant info.

Why would she have a fitting for Berlinale in NY? Doesn't make much sense to me. I suspect she'll be at the Berlinale opening tomorrow night. It's the Germany premiere of "Hail, Caesar" by the Coen Brothers. As far as I know, George Clooney and Tilda Swinton will attend too. Not too bad I'd say. (Still, I'd prefer her in NYC.)

It's Berlinale time again, so I guess that's where she's headed to. But what about NYFW?

@kissnena I tried to download the video, but it says the URL wasn't found (while I can still watch it, so it can't be that wrong...). Any idea why it doesn't work? I tried c&p of course and inserted the correct link like a trillion times. The Jolie Interview is a good read, I'll translate it later this week. Also, I read that she has an interview in the March issue of Hello! Fashion. Couldn't find anything online though, and I don't know if it is already out. Could you watch out for it, @ToniGarrnMania? Here's a summary from Yahoo

Can't believe we missed this! I found the results of the whole Hudson's Bay shoot, it's been out for a long time. Hudson's Bay Holiday 2015 Catalog Ph: Juan Algarin Styling: Rita Liefhebber Models: Toni Garrn, Ji Hye Park, Garrett Neff julierubinger.com

Did you try the proxy link above? It should pretend you watch the video from Germany, and it works for the others...doesn't it from Russia? (If it doesn't I can download it tomorrow, I'm on my phone right now.) Here's a brief translation of the article you requested, but it doesn't say anything particularly exciting. "The supermodel Toni Garrn will be a guest in the second episode of Germany's next Topmodel 2016. Michael Michalsky: "I'm a huge fan of Toni's. She will be at the girls' side and give them advice. She knows how it feels when you start out as a model. She gives a whole new energy to the show - which has a huge positive effect on the girls." (...) Toni Garrn: "The fashion business has a lot of variety. There are various clients, various jobs, various runway walks." How do I walk the runway? How do I act in front of the camera? These are the things the 23 year old supermodel wants the prepare the contestants for." The rest of the article is a presentation of the contestants.

I just had a look at the NYFW schedule. I know it doesn't make much sense to do random guessing, but I'm excited, so please forgive me. Since it's still five days until NYFW officially starts, my guess is that the fitting can only be for something that is scheduled very early on. On Feb 10, there are only 3 minor shows, I don't think it can be for any of that. Feb 11 has Marcel Ostertag, a Berlin based designer who will be showing in NY for the first time ever. Also on Feb 11, there seems to be a charity show by the American Heart Health Association ("Go Red for Women"), I can see her walking there if they have a good lineup. But the clothes don't look like they are for a charity event. On Feb 12 in the morning is Karigam. The clothes on the pic could very well be by them, judging from the last collection. Most likely option in my opinion. What do you guys think? Wanna take a guess? Here's the schedule. http://fashionweekonline.com/new-york/schedule

It's what she shot in Canada with Garrett and Ji Hye. We suspected a Canadian brand / publication, and it seems to be for Canada's biggest department store Hudson Bay indeed. I think it was shot in October or late September. @ToniGarrnMania

The episode they shot in Fuerteventura will air next Thursday. They now have competing teams (à la The Voice) and she visits Team Michalsky. Also, there's this. Excited!!! But I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high, it's probably gonna be one lame Carmen Steffens show or something.
  23. sore replied to lisa-1's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
Oh no! I kind of had a feeling it was gonna be for Hudson Bay. I was hoping for something more exciting. Also, I'm just watching the first episode of the new GNTM season. That Michalsky jerk just claimed he discovered Toni. (He's a judge this year.) She walked his show once when she was already a star. Calm down, you idiot. I hope it was a good idea to participate in this year's show, my first impression is worse than ever before.

Unfortunatly true. Chicago kinda steals the show, but I love The Loop, so I don't mind.
