It's common sense and a return to normalcy that a company hired an attractive girl to market their product. It's not a novel idea. The novel idea was hiring ugly, fat, trannies, guys in bras, etc to market clothing products. American Eagle's stock rose nearly 30% after the news and ad, which maintained a 10% increase.

Time will tell. Trump is a once in generation guy. Trump is an imperfect avatar as a big fuck you to the political elite. MAGA is a coalition of a lot people across the political spectrum, from a little past middle to right. No matter who has power coming up in the next few years, the people aren't going to put up with not being able to buy houses to start families among other things. People are becoming more violent especially on the left. People aren't going to put up with elites much longer. It sucks what happened during COVID, but I think it was a social experiment as well to see what people in power could get away with.
