Guys I found the project I was talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's called BLOOD ON SNOW by Jo Nesbo.

The book, penned under Nesbo’s pseudonym Tom Johansson, centers on a hit man who falls in love with his boss’s wife after being assigned to assassinate her.

    ^Speaking of a good crime/spy/thriller/mystery movie:

Does anyone here remember the project Leo was linked briefly to where he was about to play some sort of spy or agent who falls for his female target? It was slightly compared to Jason Bourne at one point and with success it could have turned into a series too (which I doubt Leo would've ever done it in the first place). I think it based on a book series too but I don't remember any name be it the movie, the books or the role Leo was about to play.

It's been years when I read about it. 10 or 15 maybe. But I liked the idea very much back then.

This is gettin an update. But not with Leo.

I also saw the Sauron as venom thing- I definitely was not expecting to see anything like that-  in my mind Sauron was more like a spirit entity rather than a physical substance.

Haha I didn't thought about a Venom comparison but you're right.

I think in season 1 they even talked about Sauron being spiritual in his "natural form" but since you can't see a spirit let alone a spirit with no human shell I think they choosed this dark slimy mass primarily to show Sauron's story/journey somehow in pictures. It's a tv show afterall living from visuals.

I mean Sauron clearly sees himself as some sort of holy shiny bright saviour -implemented in the Annatar scene- but if we try to imagine something pure evil without any appealing form it's probably more like this black ugly repulsive mass!? "Guttering fetus" is one of the descriptions I read lol

I was like eeew when I saw it 🫣

Quite the opposite from when I see his "beautiful servant face" 😻

I think that is exactly the desired effect.

‘The Old Guard 2’ Sets Reshoots For October

Netflix had an action hit with “The Old Guard” in 2020, starring Charlize Theron and Matthias Schoenaerts as a covert team of immortal mercenaries who must fight to keep their identity a secret.

An ‘Old Guard’ sequel has been filmed, production wrapped in August 2022, but it’s remained dubiously absent from the Netflix calendar. What’s taking so long for it to be released? Theron recently told Variety that “post-production got shut down” by Netflix and blamed recent leadership changes at the streamer for the delays.

What I find quite baffling is the reasons given by Theron. I never heard of leadership changes delaying an already-shot film, especially if it’s deep in the editing stages. Theron did confirm that the film would eventually be released, although no exact date was given, and added that she loves the finished product.

And yet, we’re now hearing that two weeks of reshoots have been set up for the sequel in October (via UBCP/ACTRA)

Will “The Old Guard 2” ever see the light of day? Some have speculated that it would be entirely scrapped by Netflix, much like what they did with Halle Berry’s “The Mothership”? I don’t think that will happen, especially with a budget that is said to be well over $100M.

The original film was directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood. It was a semi-watchable affair, an above-average release as far as Netflix action movies go. Nothing more, nothing less. However, Prince-Bythewood has been replaced in the sequel by director Victoria Mahoney whose only other directing credit is 2011’s ill-received “Yelling to the Sky.”

  4. Since nothing happening lately I just share a little parallel I stumbled about while watching the first episode of "The Rings of Power" season 2.

Everything about it screamed "The Revenant" to me and I loved it :p (I just love unexpected cinematic parallels)
