Thanks, Lady Fatale and Snl! Wowee! Y'all done reeeeel good! (Sorry, darkthrone, no harm to Southern accents meant.) It's funny. Flipping channels earlier this week, I caught a snippet of the movie 10 with Dudley Moore and Bo Derek. The angle of Tori's face in your new avi, SnL, and cheekbones, tan "tone" and braided hair is definitely worthy of a Bo comparison. I stood near Ms. Derek once, and she's much shorter than our statuesque golden goddess. Well, if Ms. Derek was rated a 10, I'd give Tori an 20+! I'm glad Tori is doing so much multi-media work as she is obviously multi-talented and multi-faceted. Hope y'all have fast-moving Friday! PS Snl, don't feel sorry for repeating Tori's beauty! All of us think it even if we don't "type" it. You have the BESTEST taste!

I love it, ]{3V-3L! TORI-OKI! She looks so relaxed and happy whether the Cosmo covergirl has had a cosmo or two or not! Re-branding one of her fave activities to Tori-oki is a brilliant idea, ]{3V-3L!

Danke/Merci, süesses_ängeli, for these photographs. Tori looks so strong, beautifully sexy and expressive! The taglines are so humorous. I would love to be that Easter Bunny or a little wave rider! I don't believe we have seen that many examples of Tori's beauty/glamour used in humorous ads! Thanks so much. Hope to see more of your posts and pics in future.

]{3V-3L! Yer Killin' me . . . with kindness! Thanks for Madamoiselle Tori en Bleu. C'est Magnifique! Have yo'self an awesome weekend and Tori and the rest of her Bellazon gang, too! I think I'm most jealous of her jet setting ways! From one continent/hemisphere/season to another and back. Wowee!

Suuuuuhweeet, SnL, ]{3V-3L (thanks for correction of Kal-el), PinkCouture, and Vampire Horde! Tori looks just simply so tall, strong, and golden on the runway and just plain ol' sweet when hanging out. I have to admit to the group I lover her, huge, long-fingered hands. SnL's mega post shows Tori in an amazing pic with her on the screen behind as well. Who is that creepy photog below who also got caught by the camera on the huge screen? With my luck, he's probably some famous veteran fashion shutterbug. If she doesn't get VS, then she'll skip that level and go straight to Bond Girl or Attack of the 50ft Woman to follow Darryl Hannah's remake of the classic or a Farah Fawcett (see Farrah in surfing pose in jeans surrounding Tori in runway sillhouette) remake or ANYTHING original and current for that matter. I hope I thanked everyone who posted. If we keep replying to SnL's mega post, maybe we'll hit page 66 before week's end. So many pics 'n' so many people posting. Maahvelous. Hope each of you has an amazing weekend.

Whoa, ]{3V-3L! Thanks for making the second half of the day go so much faster thanks to your posts! I love the pic in which Tori's' hair is doing the flying wispy thing. It look oh so fine and silky when it defies gravity. I can't tell if the one in which she's wearing those woven leather head bands(?) makes her look like a gorgeous nymph or a hottie nymph protester from the 60's. It is a beach theme so maybe she's a beach nymph. Either way she looks maahvelous in all the pics you posted, a nymph of all trades to be sure. So you're from Krypton? You must know Jor-El and Kar-El. Give them my best! I got random trivia the other day. New York is nicknamed "The Big Apple," but Metropolis is nicknamed. . .the Big Apricot! Whowouldathunkit? Thanks again, ]{3V-3L! Oh Gawd! Forgot to say how your sig catches me off guard, the movement, every time; they look like still photos, and then they come to life. Your sig is just great! Simply beautiful. Lotsa great sigs lately. I won't try to compete when I couldn't even get a still photo to go in my sig spot.

Thanks, SnL, for the nooz about Tori's site. Hope you have a great dinner and movie. You seeing an Oscar-related film? My babble is babble for babble's sake. Yours and Joe>Average's pics and videos are more than a thousand of my babbly words!

Tori Praver
Thanks, Joe>Average, for putting up the SI vid. I sure wouldn't want to get up at 0500 and lie on sharp rocks. But Tori looks cute and comfy, just as a professional super model should. I bet, like some Indians from India, Tori could sleep on a bed of nails or walk on hot coals and still look like the super star she is! BTW, I LOVE your signature. I was thinking how beautiful each girl was in her own right; then, I realized your choices were especially diverse. I have been through Bellazon and while there are some darker girls on a few pages, it may have to do with what marketers, modeling/casting agents attribute to audience appeal (ie the cosmetics market, movie market, etc bring in more money from the majority than various minorities). But we know beauty is beauty. . .objectively (ie regardless of ethnic group). Seeing your sig was coincidental to my seeing a pic (as I logged into Yahoo! then here) of Tiger Woods on his comeback, a guy of many ethnic backgrounds and handsome himself, not to mention, Elin, his beautiful Swedish wife and beautiful babies. It reminded me we have come a long way from To Kill a Mockingbird which I saw last night (1962) and even Sounder (1972) both set in the Depression when whites could not talk to blacks let alone sip mint juleps on the po'ch togethah. That and such older cases as Emmet Till who was lynched for saying hey to a white woman and Medgar Evers (Ghosts of Mississippi 1996 w. Whoopi Goldberg, Alec Baldwin), perhaps the first civil rights leader, who was murdered by a white supremacist also found not guilty by an all-white male jury for 30+ years remind us not long ago and even now some people frown on such inter-ethnic/racial fraternizin' of any type. Don't stereotype the South, either. Being from the North, I hear all the stereotypes we pin on Southern folks. People say we Northerners are just quieter about it. Here in Boston, there are plenty of blatant biases vs. blacks and other minorities in this "highly educated town." Black Celtics players are routinely pulled over in the fancy suburbs in which they live. A few years ago in Boston, a man shoots his wife and baby and blames a black man. They found him fast and then looked stupid when the truth came out. It's easy to blame blacks because TV news and sensationalist reality shows like Cops show blacks as the villains. Stats of blacks murdering and being murdered don't help. Clint Eastwood has always done a great job with race and gender issues, including his recent Gran Torino. I picked quite a few colorful slurs myself thanks to Clint If our handsome President can call himself a mutt and studies project what we humans, "as mix-breeds," will look like in future, we will have some more lookers fo' sho' of all types of visages and features. Don't worry, Black History Month is giving way to Women's History month a few days. To that end: here's some lighter trivia: Which designer removed whale bone corsets and created unrestricted garments for women? Which famous "aviatrix" used smelling salts to keep herself awake on a solo transatlantic flight? Hope Friday comes quickly for you, Joe>Average, and goes quickly and thanks again!

Thanks, SnL, for such warm pics. Tori looks so warm! Her skin is glowing as usual and she looks so strong. With wind chill, it's below zero here the last I checked. These pics really helped raise the temp. I wish I were a retiring surfer!

Thanks, SnL, for all of your hard work! No wonder you fell asleep while posting pics of Tori. I agree with you: Tori looks amazing in all colors, especially the blue dress that seems to have been fitted like a second skin for her. Probably 1% of 1% of women worldwide could wear that "Devil with a Blue Dress" blue dress as perfectly as Tori. I hadn't checked the site in a bit, and I came back to find new pics of Tori in new settings, new outfits and with new visitors to her pages. Wow! Holy sensory overload, Batman! It was also interesting to see Hilary Rhoda and Tori almost side-by-side. I do love Hil as a model in her print and TV ads and in her editorials, but of course, I do not love her as much as Tori. They are a similar build: athletic, long and lean, but Tori's arms and legs look stronger, and she would whup Hil. Have a great end of the week, SnL, Tori's fans and Tori/Danny!

Thanks, PinkCouture, for starting us on the SI set with this photo of Tori. She looks soooo incredibly natural--face and body--it's just amazingly beautiful. Tori's pose doesn't look like a pose; her beauty is effortless. She is not trying to look beautiful or even sexy, yet she is both. It's pretty great when someone does something amazing without looking as though her or she is trying Happy Friday the 13th, Tori and Tori fans! I hope no one suffers from tristadekaphobia or paraskevidekatriaphobia! I think the fear of the number 13 started because Judas, the 13th disciple of Jesus, turned against him. But SEVERAL religions fear the number. This is NOT a religious comment!!!!!!!!!!!! Just a debatable piece of useless trivia as well as the fact that many buildings have no 13th floor, some airport terminals have no 13th gate and NASA probably avoided 13 after the fateful Apollo 13 mission (that has many 13s associated with it)! Even scientists can be superstitious! This fear of 13 is universal and often NOT religiously based! For example, male and female athletes wear #13 simply to fly in the face of such a phobia and MANY more who refused to wear it. In anycase, the day is almost over. Superstitions are based on illogical connections (eg black cat crosses your path; you fall and blame the cat), but superstitions are also used to acheive consistency and comfort in any field from A-W (academics to the work world). Create routines to keep your A's, hitting/scoring streak alive, have successful business deals, etc. The movies Major League, Bull Durham, or Slap Shot look humorously at superstition in sport where it is ubiquitous because your career depends on consistent productivity as in any field. Play-off beards, lucky, team scrunchies, beaded safety pins on shoe laces, not touching lines on courts or fields are all pretty basic superstitions/routines. Some get nasty: not washing underclothing, etc. M/F Athletic Superstitions: 1. Tiger Woods wears red shirts on a tournament's final Sunday because in his mom's native Thailand, red is a good luck. 2. Jelena Jovic stays at the same low-key hotel near Wimbledon and wears the same dress she handwashes EACH night. Celebrity Superstitions: 1. Cameron Diaz wears a necklace to ward off the effects of aging and "knocks on wood all day long." 2. Cate Blanchett reportedly keeps her "Lord of the Rings" elf ears on her mantle for luck. Certainly, there are fun, LONG lists of superstitions for any field, some barely noticeable and some glaring and bizarre (eg Roger Federer screaming in a locked bathroom prior to his match). I would love to know of rituals for models. As I said earlier in the week, I hope all of Tori's fans and Tori and Danny have a great long weekend whether you are a fan of Valentine's Day or not, alone or not.

Thanks to PinkCouture and SnL, pillars of Praver's posts, for all the new pic and video additions! Thanks, too, to those who posted pics of Tori's latest adventures at the NYSE! Seeing a variety of people who posted was especially fun. All of you brought us well into page 63! "There's no 'I' in Team!"

Oh boyeee, SnL! Thanks so very much for the cute, cute, cute shot of Tori. Talk about tow headed and golden-skinned. It reminds me of the MySpace personal posts ages ago when she is holding the baby so sweetly. What a way to start the week! Thanks, too, for the Stewart Shining quotation. I think his shots are the ones in which she has a flower in her ear and in one has the most natural laugh/smile I seen from anyone. I also agree with his Tori summary. I hate to name drop, but I have met Ms. Shields, and she is pretty much my height (6' plus an inch for running shoes) and has always been athletic and especially toned and quite sweet as you reported Tori to be. While Tori's athleticism is clearly apparent whatever she's wearing, I don't know if people notice Ms. Shields' build, though she has amazing tone as I said. Probably because her face has been plastered on Ivory Snow boxes as a babe and in Woody Allen's Pretty Baby, the "infamous" but fab Calvin Klein jeans ads, etc. Focus on the face, I guess. Thick, natch hair, all-American faces, strong bods, and long, strong legs and striking in "civilian clothes": Brooke and Tori are two peas in a pod despite their age difference. The Blue Lagoon-era reference made me laugh. Apparently, they dug a trench around the island so Ms. Shields would be at her co-star's (Chris Atkins) height. But check that tidbit! Since we're in 2009, maybe if Tori is chosen to be in a movie, she can stand on her own two feet but not in a trench, and even look down at her co-star and look fab at the same time. While some girls, as you know, don't mind being taller than a guy, esp. in heels, many like to look up at their guys even when wearing heels. And, similarly, some guys like to look down and some like to look up. Mr. Cruise, from what the tabloids say, has a height issue with Ms. Holmes and therefore probably with Ms. Kidman who is taller than Ms. Holmes, but I've never asked him and will leave it at that. Thanks again for the wonderfully sweet and cute pic of Tori, SNL! Again, you are the researcher extraordinaire!

Boy, darkthrone, if you were published by Alfred A. Knopf, you would join the ranks from A-Z or at least C-U (Cather, Cheever, Morisson, Updike--recently deceased, of course). Congrats WHEN you are published by them! Let us know on Tori's pages. It is hard to find stuff on Tori, new stuff. I'm glad she is, as SNL says, low key. Maybe it is the island culture in which she grew up for the most part. Unlike, the uptight, snobs we are stereotyped (pretty accurately, mostly but not always as with any stereotype) as being in the Northeast Corridor, worried about status through various symbols from degrees to clothes to cars. Anyway, Lawd knows I have pored over the Internet and found tons of stuff on her "colleagues" and her SI pics and thought it nice not to have her splattered everywhere. Tori's value increases just like anything rare does, like the blue Hope Diamond . But I guess her ubiquitousness on the internet would increase Tori's value in other ways. Hopefully, she can have the right mix--the way SHE wants it. When I read SNL's post, I, too, feel I always comment on her flawless skin, her amazing musculature, and her face that really does look amazing from all angles. I, too, rely on SNL and PinkCouture for new intel. Most important, Tori has gone from working for swimsuit designers to haute couture, attesting to her versatility. She really can wear anything and make that thing look beautiful and look beautiful in it. But you may have put it best, darkthrone, when you said Tori looks familiar but radically different: The Praver Paradox, perhaps. Or maybe its the chameleon aspect of the best models: dye their hair, change the hair style or clothes, and they may be unrecognizable at first glance, but they still look amazing and at second or fourth glance you see from their, eyes, nose, mouth and chin the features that are hard to change and help you ID them. I like the disarranged fairy tale idea, too. You seem to be truly literary, unlike me, the dilettante. Was that tourism paper for a marketing class? How did you pick the topic? Elvis fan? Don't worry about Easter egg hunts, as long as "you don't teach your grandmother how to suck eggs." Have a great start to the week down there, darkthrone, or on the West Coast, SNL. It was a balmy 40F here yesterday, a real "Indian Summer" after a chilly 5F a few days ago in Boston. But I'm glad I'm not any where in the heartland from MN to the South in KY where frigid temps and ice storms have been the order of the day for some weeks. Brrrrr! Dang that Ground Hawg, Punxsutawney Phil. Funny, I heard the critter's scrambling in and out of his adobe is really some mating ritual and has nothing to do with the length of winter. And we've turned it into a season-forecasting one. Human rituals: can't live without 'em or shoot 'em, neither! Whether we Tori fans consider it a Hallmark ritual or not, have a Happy Valentine's Day next weekend whether, you are single, double or otherwise and of course Happy Valentine's Day to Tori and Danny! Mo' Wintah, I guess. But the days have been incrementally lengthening since 21 DEC in the Northern Hemisphere, and the natural ritual of the Vernal Equinox on 21 March is about as reliable as any human one if not more. Hoohah!

Sixty-One! Hooaahh! After being on this site for I dunno since the summer of '07, you would think I would have learned how to open the AVI, etc part before last week. And of course, I couldn't figure out how to make a pic sig so I added more babble in the form of quotations--no surprise there. There are soooooooooo many Tori pics that could make a great AVI or as I have said ad nauseum your AVI and SIG made by Jess are so awesome. I picked that pic for my AVI because Tori looks so casual and relaxed in both the outfit and the mid-stride photo. As always, her skin and hair glow and her beautiful athletic build also show thanks to her outfit. It's not an obviously hot one but HOT nonetheless as they all are. This babble boy is at a loss for words except that she is GORGEOUS without trying in that pic. I just wish the photographer had not cut off her looong, strong legs. Hope you have a fun place to go, SNL, to watch your fave sport's finale on Sunday. PS darkthrone, Tori's site has gone under construction before, even when she was with Ford. I think Maui Web Creations still does it even though she is with IMG but SNL or PinkCouture would know better. It will come back up, better than ever if that's possible.

She could really be an actress, I think, and do quite well at it. If you see her speak, especially on the videos from Capri, she has the charisma that stops a room. Do I sound biased? Probably, but I know a bit about acting and she would make the cam fall in love with her instantly. That pic you posted was from Miss Triumph campaign and she's as cute as a button. I think darkthrone or somebody said she looked '60's. Couldn't agree more. When I message with Tori, I always tell her that I feel like such a perv going on about her and that I'm str8 but could change over! I just hate sounding like a plain ol' fan but I'm secure enuff in my own skin to appreciate a great looking woman when I see one. As far as the inauguration goes, I wish Obama success and he will be my President but I'm not that happy about it. I'm scared about certain things but being the proud American that I am, I'll honor the fact that's he's President. That's all I'll say about that. Except, I will say that I'm fed up to the top of my head with the Bush haters so maybe that will stop, at least. No matter how you feel about your President, he is still your President and you don't go bad mouthing him for the whole world to hear.....ok, now I AM gonna' shut up. (putting away my soapbox) I love those different angles of Tori's face in your avatar. Her jaw and cheekbones look so beautifully defined and perhaps give her the classy look you mentioned compared to other "normal" blondes. As I said before, those pics in Gorsuch are so aristocratic and the clothes help, but her face makes the clothes. She could be one of the royal line in Hannover Germany connected to the Hannover line that rules England. Or the royalty of Netherlands, Monaco or Scandinavia, etc. Or merely an Aspen-dwelling aristocrat in the good ol' US of A. Thankfully, she seems to have her feet planted firmly in the sand aka down to earth .

Malin is a swedish name. And Akerman can be too. So either she's from Minnesota or from Malmo ! The name sounds familiar. I can't believe you watched that movie "Broken" twice. Jeez Loueez. I have no qualms about tough scenes in movies, shed no tear for violent deaths, etc. But there was something about Graham lying emotionless/blankfaced on hers and her bf's voice and then the camera goes outside the apt. door and he's there crouching. But her enduring all those guys and then the BF. I know it happens every 5 mins in the US. That was tough for me because, I guess, I felt helpless to do anything. I need to get better at remembering titles and figuring out the start times as I come into them after they're rolling as I flip channels. I agree with Indies. The colors tend to be different. I saw one about four Australian orphans, just beautiful. But some mainstream ones get thrown in the indie channels after a few decades, I noticed. The connections are amazing. I was telling my PT about catching half of Billy Elliot on TV after seeing it a while ago on the big screen. Then, my gf and I later saw Defiance and there looking older and bruised was Jaime Bell (sp?), the boxer turned Royal ballet dancer! He was so awesome in both. By the same token, the Hollywood pics are fun, too, as they have the technicolor colors and flash, etc. Good balance of indie and Hollywood as with anything!

I like the literary bent, darkthrone. Your playing the Raymond Carver for Tori's fans sounds good, and I am glad SNL will be the Wilhemina Faulkner of these pages. I guess being the Shakespeare of this section would be a tad pompous/pretentious/patronizing, more so than I seem already. But Tori could play a number of leading Shakespearean ladies: Desdemona and Rosalind come to mind. But I guess I would have to be Harper Lee on the strength and simplicity of To Kill a Mockingbird in which Atticus Finch advises his kids to do the following: 1. Listen more in conversation than talk. (Read: write less and post more pics here ). 2. Crawl into another's skin and walk around in it. Just as you said, SNL, about finding your skin comfortable :hell yea!: . . . 3. Class comes not from "squatting on a patch of land for a long time" (Hear that Boston Brahmins and Indian Brahmins, and those in fancy zipcodes, too !). Rather, it comes from doing the best you can with what you have. Now that’s classy. A UPENN prof, Paul Fussell's CLASS is a humorous take on the often-denied American-class system, complete with drawings. Unfortunately, the first definition of class seems to have been around for ages in most cultures and will continue to be used for ages to come (British class system; Hindu Caste System, etc.). But even those in that category can do the best they can with what they have! Tori has class: she is doing the best she can with her brains and beauty !

Wow! Standing next to Heather Graham and Malin Akerman. Maybe some Hollywood magic sparkles will fall on Tori. Coincidentally, I remembered Ms. Graham from Swingers and Austin Powers, but I recently saw her in an indie sort of film (forget name) in which she plays an actress/singer wannabe but ends up meeting this drugs-doing-guy and her life spirals downward in a hurry thanks in part to the drugs. Just a quick heads up: some scenes were brutal. It was a far cry from any of the comedy with which I associated her. A quick trip to IMDB shows she's as film prolific as she is very cute/beautiful. But not as cute or beautiful as Tori! And Malin is another fashionista-turned-actress who may find as good parts as Heather has. Hopefully, if she wants, Malin and Heather will give her tips and connections into Hollywood.

Oh no! I mean Oh yes! A new cuuuuuuuuuuute pic of Tori Bear already! Gawd, SNL! I know what you mean. Tori looks so film glam on that scooter-type motor cycle. Dare I say she looks Euro even for the girl previously and always equated with her all-American looks. I saw North by Northwest and could see her in a film from that "era" or any era to the present really as her face is quite timeless, and she could act opposite and equally with Cary Grant or some current leading movie. With the right hair and clothing, she could go from Grace Kelly to Brigitte Bardot to Farah Fawcett and so on! If she chose to train, she could head for the movies as many models have, albeit fewer have succeeded. I also think Tori could wear fashions from any decade just as say, Uma Thurman (model/actress), wore 18th century (?) fashions in Dangerous Liaisons to mod/hip (?) fashions in Kill Bill. Tori would do fine running in the prairie in a gingham dress with a current-day Jimmy Stewart running after her . Or substitute that Tori on that horse posted earlier for the Honda. She would be comfortable as an actress from riding shotgun in the Old West to a Jet Ski chase in a Bond film. Tori looks athletic enough to do most stunts, too. I SEE IT! ALL OF IT! Of course, she has to see it! But I should stay in the present! I am sure she is on the short list for the '09 SI cover. And her butt IS so athletic and the best! Now, princess of posting, I have spent some time today on about seven model/fashion industry site and then tried to look up Tori by designer (eg Philippe Matignon for Golden Point e) and finally just searched Tori Praver in Google. Of course, that pulls up mostly her SI pics or sites that have "collected" them from the SI/CNN site. I went 10 pages in on Tori Praver in Google and found nothing new. But did enjoy reminiscing with various Yamamay, Guess and other sets! I guess I could back in Bellazon and reminisce more so I can ID the new ones more easily. By the way, it was also amusing to read comments other than fashion model comments (ie Tori's Bubble Butt is to die for." or "Tori's long legs need to be in our minds and in our beds." Well, the more who appreciate her, the better I guess. And they keep linking her to BJ Penn, a discredited rumor from long ago as you know. As an aside, he was on TV last week, but I forgot about and never saw his acclaimed MMA skills. Despite not being a fan of MMA necessarily, I thought I should see if his speed or strategy, etc. is his strength as he is supposed to be amazing. Besides he is a Hawaiian celeb, close enough to Tori for me! Anyway, of the TONS of pics of Tori I saw, I thought this might be new; there are so many in Golden Point I figured you already posted them a few pages ago: She can go from haughty haute couture to sassy cute at the drop of a pink hair ribbon! Thanks for your encouragement to keep looking! But you'll never beat the babble boy; ask the other Tori fans! Have a great short week! Hope you can catch some of the Inauguration from the Left Coast.

Dearest SNL, I duly noted your helping to reach page six-oh! Woo boy! More than just helping! Keeping your feet moving while dragging defenders and stretching out your arms to break the plane of the next page! We'll see that on the highlight reel fo' sho'! I find myself saying Tori is amazing in so many sets, many of which you put up. But I wouldn't be able to say she is so amazing unless you put them up, sacrificing a night out for Tori and her fans. Basically, YOU have been amazing! I wanted to beat the benchmark you set by posting pics yesterday and you beat me again--as always. And so I said I will do it today, and there you go pushing the envelope and whupped me once more. :trout: Well, a good whuppin' can be inspirational, too! I will try again, but the main fear so far is putting up re-posts, I guess. But that's my problem! Thank you sooooooooooo much on behalf of all of us who love Tori and depend so much on your single-handed efforts--if I can speak for all of us.

Boy, darkthrone, I did a pretty thorough search for NEW Tori pics this past weekend. and I came across those Yamamays in many sites, attesting to their popularity. The clarity of the photographs makes everything from Tori and her lingerie look extra perfect. Thanks for the reminder of that photo shoot! Aside from gazillion sets of Tori's SI 07 and 08 photos, I came across plenty of lingerie photos of her but thought that most if not all had already been posted on these here BZ pages.
