ALWAYS WORTH A SECOND LOOK! THANK YOOOOOOOO! I Just came in on page one and scrolled for a bit and said WOW! Then went straight here and said WOWEEEE! MultiFACEted. A comment on page one said "Very pretty. A Typical California Blonde." But if you look at look at Tori's range of looks from 1-70, Tori is the ATYPICAL California blonde thanks to her vesatility as evinced by so many recent and past posts. I am glad we have gotten away from calling Tori typical anything. I know we have said this umpteen times, but we have to keep saying it to debunk the stereotype, which in itself isn't bad, but she takes on so many, well, looks other than the All-American Blonde. There is a pic (below) of Tori up close, hair pulled straight back, not a distraction from her facial bones. Little if any make up. I don't have to tell anyone on these pages that true facial beauty shows when hair is pulled back. Hair has always been a symbol of beauty (all women)/strength (Samson). It's culturally significant in worldwide cultures, religions, myths, literature, art. Tori's hair is obviously, thick, rich, blonde, and loooong and worshipped in most cultures. But her beauty is not "hair dependent" just as the true beauties are (celebreties or mortals or male and female now that I think of it). An older, famous example of hair defining beauty is Sinead O'Connor who cut her hair to avoid being judged by her beauty. Ironically, her beauty came out even more (eg huge blue eyes). I sort of wish Tori would totally change her hair color and length because hair is just of course, a frame for the face or an ornament, and her face needs no frame or an ornament. Never fear Blonde lovers! Tori can always change back! People would see more clearly her versatility. But as I say when I pitch her Bond girl or other movie roles, it's up to her and IMG. If anyone signed Tori for any contract (tv ad, print ad, cosmetics, athletic clothing, etc) or asked her to walk for them, she has the "transferrable skills" to make it make any job work beautifully and professionally. That is indeed she, minus 1! Talk about a Tori Bday eve tribute to her versatilty from 'do to duds! I mean both! Call me crazier, but with her trademark tresses up, she reminds of Grace Jones. Maybe because I see Tori as the next Bond Girl, but she wouldn't be the villainess Ms Jones is in "A View to Kill" {1985}. Nope, an equal agent to Mr. Bond, even superior. Or maybe in some photos with a different hair style, I see Princess Grace as well. Regardless of which lenses I am wearing, as objective as possible I hope, Tori's versatility has been questioned occasionally with her swimsuit shoots capturing so much attention. But every haute couture or editorial or runway photo shows she can do all three beautifully. Simply look at these with hardly any of her glorious skin showing. In fact, I see her smile and humor some times more in her fashion shoots than in her swim suit shoots. Anybody, who can conjure up two disparate and iconic celebrities from a WASPy, actual princess to a black singer/actress/model (if only to this odd viewer) deserves the versatility award of the year. I do not wear spectacles, by the way, but if I were blind and all I could hear were thoughts on these pages about the way she carries herself, I would probably feel a movie in the making: Tori Full of Grace, after the film Maria Full of Grace but not the content, though Tori could handle it. minus 1, these are on Tori's supercleanly designed website and also posted by dirrty on Tori's BZ pages in post #1082, currently toward the top of what is page 53. In that post of OCT 09, dirrty asked where the pics were from to which later SNL, I think, said they were in NUMERO FRANCE (DEC 2008; Photographer Liz Collins). Thanks for the retrospective, again, fitting for Tori's Bday Week, minus 1! Grace Jones:

That's a fact except pictures are getting a little more prolific than in the "old days". I haven't been participating as much lately for tons of reasons but there for awhile, I felt sometimes like a one-girl band. :lost: I used to talk about her to anyone who would listen (and those who wouldn't, too!) :lullaby: Yessss, SNL, there are waaaaaay more pics of Tori now, thanks mainly to you. I can't believe you forgot these larger-than-life pics ! Hell, you could forget a whole shoot and still have posted more than the rest of us combined! Thanks, as always for your efforts that become our rewards! PS those "giantess" pics remind me of Daryl Hannah in Attack of the 50ft Woman. I've only seen the movie poster, but i can picture towering Tori in Daryl's place.

This week should be dedicated to celebrating Tori's Bday. Happy Bday Week, Tori! I reminisced by going back to her early BZ pages and seeing that the enthusiasm for her started some time ago and has not waned in the least.

Thanks for, Lady Fatale and SNL, for the intel on Project Sunshine and Tori's involvement. It seems like a great organization with the ambition of expanding to help children worldwide. Clearly, she has a heart of gold! Tori has always been our Not-So-Little Ms. Sunshine! For the second time in two weeks, I flipped to a vicarious visit to Hawaii thanks to Hollywood. The first time had Elvis as a tour guide who took his tour to Kauai. This time Kate Bosworth was surfing around Oahu in Blue Crush. I cannot believe how athletic surfing is: balance, strength, etc. And graceful, of course. . . In both movies, Hawaii does seem like a paradise. I just heard from my friend who moved to Maui a few months ago, and he says it really is and to visit. I am not sure where Kate Bosworth was born, but she's always listed as being from Cohasset, MA, a few towns over from me and tres preppy. House Sitter with Steve Martin and Goldie Hawn was filmed there. I have seen her in Boston, but there are a lot of blonde preppies here so she doesn't stand out. I also had two "sightings" of Tori here in Boston this week. Both unfortunately were on GUESS? shopping bags. The pic was from the early Guess? campaign in which her hair is long and platinum blonde, and it's part the amazing series in which she is in a hotel bedroom and has the same hair. I'm sure people remember the pic as part of some of the best stuff Tori has done and probably have seen the Guess? bag. I was just glad to see a Tori Classic or Retro pic on a bag so many people will see because the pic and she are really timeless . Thanks again for the sunshiney pics. Happy 70th page to Tori, her friends, and fans! I hope everyone has an amazingly sunshiney and relaxed Memorial Day Weekend! I think this pic is on the bag:

Jeez o' Pete, Izzy! You have out done yourself again and again. These are as amazing as your prior posts. Each one can stand alone. I have no idea why she is not a reg'lar in VS. I really can't say which is my fave as they are all soooo deelish. But I sorta like the one (last pic) in which she's walking barefoot on the pier with a smoldering look and the one in which she is sitting cross legged (first pic) just cause she looks so relaxed. Well, she seems to pose effortlessly in all, too. And that quiet confidence is apparent as well. Thanks so much again, Izzy, for letting us gaze at Tori's glory. She should hire you to be her agent extraordinaire!

SNL, I saw that Elvis film from 1961 and saw how quick Elvis' dancing "footwork" was but then remembered his tragic demise. It reminded me of a documentary on Marilyn Monroe who was also especially sharp/intelligent in comedic roles. Listen to ANY decent comic, and you will hear how smart he or she is, drawing material from any part of life, to skewer it, empathize with it, or laugh at it, etc. But those two, in addition to brains, had luminesence, of course, making their shortened careers and lives all the more tragic. But then there have been many in Hollywood like that and maybe in one's own neighborhood. Frost wrote about an "average" shortened life in "Out, Out. . .," the title taken from the scene in which Macbeth says, "Out, Out brief candle. . ." refering to his wife's untimely death at a young age. Frost's poem is about a kid in Vermont, who at the end of the day of cutting wood with a chainsaw, relaxes for a moment thinking of whatever came after work. Of course, it ends with death. Whether it be a a celebrity's or a "nobody's" life cut short in an accident, in war, homicide, etc., it is always extra tragic but a reminder of life's preciousness and sometimes an extra push to live it to the fullest.

Oh m'gawd, SNL! You are the bestest! Exhausted after finals, you still managed to find/post these fine photographs of Ms. Praver? Thank YOOOOOOO ON BEHALF OF ANY ONE WHO HAPPENS TO VISIT THESE PAGES FOR A SECOND! I guess you can see it all when Tori's wearing a swim suit: skin, skin, skin, perfect musculature, perfect musculature, perfect musculature, hair, hair, hair. We have all noticed Tori's attributes before, but they are re-emphasized in these pics, hence the aforementioned "three-peat." Magnifico! But may fave is the one in which she's wearing a blue LS Tee and yellow pants in barefeet. Talk about NATCHerly beeyouteefull! I mean there are the details: perfect cupid's bow, eyes, eyebrows, cheekbones, nose, perfect nails even, beautiful hands. Good golly, I don't want to embarass myself further or HER or her fans! It's not fair that one person has all that. And I agree with you about the "natch" look. I have run across some models on Bz who have had work done. Time will tell, anway, who's natch and who's not. She has just exuded health since she first appeared in that OUTSIDE mag with a wetsuit and a surfboard under her arm: no make-up, wet hair flipped back over her head. It's probably the veggie diet, surfing, growing up in paradise, and good genes. Speaking of genes, I think I asked ages ago: is Praver German? or Scandinavian. Boy, her ancestors could come from anywhere in Northern Europe or even parts of Eastern Europe where I have seen a number of people/models with her facial features and coloring. Onto stuff like Tori's swimwear website. I think it is so cleanly designed and probably have said how courageous she is to start a company in these times, especially in retail clothing, and MORE especially in a market that has a lot of competitors. Her thoughts on designing the suits show she is especially insightful with regard to what women wearing her suits/bikinis want. I'm sure people from these pages have visited; if not, head on over! I am glad she has the Arby's ad to add to her portfolio/resume. Move over, Mercury Mariner Girl! I hope we can all be surprised when she turns up in another ad or. . . in a movie as I keep saying. I know IMG is hot and works for many of her "colleagues," but I think Tori, without mentioning other names, could land an amazing cosmetics, hair product (aside from Redken) or similar contract. But she, as you have said, SNL, seems so low key, and maybe she just wants to take it all at "an island" pace. Maybe I want to see her on the big screen! Well, after the first babble in a while, thanks again for posting all those amazing pics during the time you should be relaxing after or heading out and about after exams! Hope you have a fun job/internship lined up for the summer.

Thanks, Francy and SNL, for those amazing swimsuit suit photos of Tori. She looks mighty fine from head to toe. And that skin. . . I saw Elvis Presley in BLUE HAWAII (1961) and thought of Tori because she was the first to have a shoot in Graceland, if memory serves me correctly and did those pics at his school. When Elvis and the tour he was guiding around Hawaii landed at an airport, it was in Kauai where there was a beautiful wedding full of local color. Even though the film was set in 1961, Elvis' role as a tourguide gave a good idea of the islands. No wonder Tori wants to end up there and raise a family. It is a paradise even on a TV screen. Elvis was pretty amazing as a comic actor and obviously as a singer in this film.

Emma Warg
Emma Warg is the first one that you posted that struck. I have seen her before, but you put the name to the impossibly high cheekbones and icy, slit eyes. Then I saw your posts of Ludmilla. Wowee! You have refreshed Bellazon pages with new names and images that have their own cachet; both Emma and Ludmilla are different from the rest of the girls who have a million pages. They definitely deserve to be at the top of Bellazon's FASHION MODELS section. How they determine that order, I don't know. Thanks again for your discerning eye!

Ludmila Isaeva Malahova
Thanks, Korravai for the pics of this amazing model. I haven't seen such a range of looks and settings in a long time on any of these Bellazon pages. Ludmilla Isaeva Malahova should have been a household name, albeit a long one . Thanks again!

I was flipping channels and came upon that Arby's ad by pure chance. Well, it's only a hop skip and a jump for Tori to "transition" into the movies as a Bond girl. I saw Denise Richards in her Bond film for a bit and thought someone said she and Tori share some facial features. But Tori stands above Ms. Richards literally and in terms of character (eg whacked reality shows). As we've seen, Tori has so many looks that CSA could give her any part in any type of film, not just action.

Boy, do I remember those Stewart Shining photos mostly because Tori just glows: skin, hair. Her laugh looks so fun and relaxed.

Hey, @lice! I love your Jessica Alba Sig! I read an article in which the researchers said her features are the perfect combination ethnic background to be the new ideal of beauty. There was an article in TIME a while that concluded similarly that after some time racial and ethnic groups would be so mixed they would be not white or black or shades of grey, in the middle. The cover of that issue was a composite of at least fifty pics of various ethnic types then morphed into one center pic of what the next beauty ideal would be. I can't remember if it looked like Jessica Alba, though. Anyway, when I do look for Tori pics, and I mean really look by agency, google, etc., someone always beats me to it. But the search itself is fun. Now when I don't have time, but I ran across two tid bits of trivia that kinda sorta connected to Tori: 1. Elvis Presey (her SI Graceland shoot) had a twin bro. named Garon who died at birth. Elvis's middle name was spelled Aron in honor of his bro. Isn't that at once so sad and so interesting. I had no idea Elvis had a little bro., a twin at that. Imagine if they ended up singing together! Twice as much screaming! 2. President Gerald Ford was a model, like Tori. Now you gotta look at his face (eyes, nose, jaw and build as acollege football player) as you may be biased by his lack of hair in his pics as president and then remember he was from Michigan and U of M, and the heartland where models of both genders have grown as thick and tall as the corn stalks with hair as blonde as cornsilk. Take care!

Lawdy, Lawdy, SNL! I know the bias about Fox. I'm glad you simply watch the news . And then look what happened! I just skim from left to right so to speak: NY Times, USA Today, WSJ (not exactly right) and Boson Globe (about to fold). But TV news is tricky even if you DVR/TIVO it. ABC is usually the one but Brian Williams won the Walter Cronkite Award but Katie is fine, too. I don't know how to judge so I flip between each. The one thing I do know is that I see several ads from BIG PHARMA pushing medications for everything: AMBIEN, LUNESTA, LIPITOR, some with big names like Sally Field pitching. I know those ads in those slots cost big bucks and take time from the news. But there are plenty of fun commercials, too, I guess. Your middle name must be SERENDIPITY! That is such a random, fun find. As you can see, I couldn't even get a pic into the sig area and went with quotes that were too long. Therefore, I cannot help you, but, there are so many Tori-friendly folk on this site with awesome computer skills that we will wake up tomorrow and find Tori's chat easy to access. As usual, love you avi/sig via Lady Fatale. Have a great start to the week!

Yes . Also, I wanted to say, I think Tori seems to have a unique and refreshing model personality. I don't know her, but she kindof comes off as a fun girl that almost doesn't notice she's pretty. I think that's nice and interresting about her . Thanks for carin' and sharin' the avi/sig in catsuit and pronounced stitches! There are some famous catsuited femme felines you probably know including Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry, but I also saw some of Estella Warren, who before modeling was an Olympic syncronized swimmer for Team Canada, I think. Anyway, I thought with all that hard labor in the pool, she developed a great body for that cat suit shoot and also the poses in it. I thought I was pretty good at IDing models and actors/actresses, but your avi/sig are killing me. The lips and eyes seem so obvious. Pray, do tell! Tori said she is an island girl. Maybe that helped her become a carefree beauty preoccupied with things other than her looks. Mr. Obama claims he's an island guy and therefore very calm under pressure. Maybe there's a Maui Mystique. My old roommate just got a job there. I am sooooooo jealous. Maybe I will learn the secret of the Islands.- Tori Praver
Boy, it's good to be back. No doubt, people didn't miss my babble. I was away and couldn't log in on a company laptop. Then Bellazon seemed to be down for a while. When it came back up, I couldn't login despite many requests for my password which suddenly wouldn't work. Care? Didn't think so. But it has been great to skim all the new posts that have gone up in my absence! Tori looks fabulous and relaxed all at once in all the candids. I checked out her website when Bellazon was apparently down, and it is beautifully designed: sleek, easy to navigate and easy to view. The pics she chose are amazing. It's a lot different from her first or even second one. In addition to sleek, I would add minimalist to the design; just clean period. It's pretty hard to start a business especially when credit isn't exactly flowing from banks these days. It's especially hard in the apparel business. Still, I hope her swimwear line takes off. It was nice to hear what she has to say directly on her website. Hopefully, Tori's wish of raising her kids back in the homeland of Maui someday will come true. And congrats on finding a guy who can cook!- Tori Praver
Whoa, ]{3V-3L! Those are some suhweet sistahs: flawless skin, good teeth and more! Thank you very much and have a great weekend!- Tori Praver
Thanks, VampireHorde, for going to such great lengths to find this photo/article! Whether he's a jockhead or not I can't tell because I know him only through this site. They have known each other through Hawaii and surfing, they are both models--both with good hair and lean surfer bodies and good looking faces at that. So that's a start for their togetherness, I guess, and understanding each other even. On these pages, I have seen pics of Danny with Tori in NYC sharing bday cake and on a speed boat and in Italy so if he lives with her in Manhattan Beach, CA or visits her from Hawaii to the aforementioned places, I imagine he is making the effort to be with her from distances and therefore at least a decent guy. If she's happy with him, and he treats her well, then that's good for me whether he's a jockhead, a punk or a geek (sounds like part of the Breakfast Club). Because Tori's had good judgement to get this far, I imagine she has good judgement with relationships with work and personal. In addition, her comments in the article about Danny and their time together make it sound like both are smitten with each other. Going out for some time with distance involved takes some work from both parties. And it looks like both are working. - Tori Praver
