Kelly needs a hobby in the worst way.

VS should change its name to #Vicky's-secret or something like that because they seem to target only teens now. Cutesy brightly coloured stuff, how new and exciting. Not.

Every year I am left wondering why people care so much about the fantasy bra.

Apparently Kelly's father used to be a footballer and I seem to recall her mentioning that her mother is a doctor (but I might be remembering that wrong), you would think they would tell her a thing or two about the dangers of over-exercising. Of course, maybe they did but she didn't listen.

In this interview it is mentioned that Kelly walks 30 km per day.

Sure but I suspect their inclusivity is limited and they don't pick their models on the basis of diversity alone. And VS' sinking probably has to do a lot more with other parts of their policies than just the models and the fashion show. VS is doing a really bad job of selling their brand of dream, doesn't mean the idea isn't sound in general. I mean, Hollywood and other fashion brands seem to be doing just fine with it.

Doesn't matter who is in charge, VS (or other lingerie brands for that matter) are selling a fantasy. If they stop doing that, they will probably sink faster than the Titanic. People act as if fashion and Hollywood are single-handedly responsible for beauty standards rather than largely following the already existing trends. And even if it were all fashion and Hollywood's fault, one company can't change that on its own. The average consumer finds Adriana Lima prettier than Ashley Graham, this isn't going to change even if billions are thrown at chasing the illusive "all body shapes are equally" beautiful goal. Now, campaigning against the use of ultra-skinny models as opposed to slender but not quite as skinny ones is far more likely to succeed but in that case focusing on VS rather than high fashion is rather absurd.

When the ratings for the show are inevitably terrible once again, these idiots will probably give themselves and their campaign all the credit. I mean, sure, VS' beauty standards are rather narrow but that's still preferable to the "genius" idea of everyone being equally beautiful, especially for the purposes of selling lingerie.

Honestly, Kelly gives me the impression that she genuinely enjoys working out. I doubt VS or whoever is monitoring her social media 24/7 and forcing her to post about her workout exploits every day all year long. IMO, she still looks great but really needs to find another hobby. 30 kilometers of jogging every day (as she once claimed in an interview), on top of all other workouts is just crazy.

I love Stella's work for VS too. Too bad VS themselves don't seem to like it too much because they use her so rarely. Then again, I also like Behati and even Alexina, so I am a rebel.

I really wish VS would stop inviting music performers altogether. Who on earth is going to tune in just to watch one or two songs that can be found on youtube in two seconds anyway? I mean, if they aren't interested in watching the show itself. Plus, the cuts from the performers to the models every two seconds are incredibly irritating. But, no, VS seems to think live performances are some massive ratings boost.

Of course Alexina's latest post is somewhat cringy but that's advertising for you. No normal person will gush about a bunch of panties and bras which aren't even from some ultra expensive brand. Why blame her, though? I doubt she is the one who decides how she should behave in those advertising videos, blame whoever from VS came up with the idea. And if for some reason it was Alexina's idea, well at least she pretends to love the VS stuff more convincingly than most (cough, Jo, cough).

True but that's VS we are talking about, they initially put Josephine in Pink too. Or Camille Rowe in 2016. Their logic often does not resemble our Earth logic. Yes, if there is going to be a friends segment, there are so many actual successful models who are close friends with one or more of the Angels (Barbara Palvin immediately comes to mind as well). There is no reason whatsoever to cast a totally unknown model just for that. But such a segment would be nice to see as long as it's not just about Sara and Sadie.

No segment can be as cringy and the kungfu segment last year. Though I suspect VS will try to prove me wrong.
