How does Lily's shot look?

That picture from Malibu is probably for her cover shoot for a major magazine that's coming out in April. I saw on instagram that one of the jewelers providing pieces for the shoot mentioned shipping their stuff out. I'm curious to see what magazine it ends up being.

The pictures of her with Dixie and Caleb are too sweet. Love that family! Her hair looks fab in the SB promo stuff.

I can't believe she's been working with Velvet for 12 years, that's amazing! I wonder if she's designing for them again this year or if that shoot was just as a face of the brand.

Didn't they start phasing out Lindsay in 2014/the last year of her contract too? Granted Karlie has a lot more star power than Lindsay does.

I enjoy Karlie's HF work but she's never really fit with VS for me. If they are in fact transitioning her out, none of the girls they're working with on a more regular basis really stand out to me as far as being an Angel goes - excluding Joan. I'd love for her to be signed but I don't think it's going to happen.

I must've really not wanted to do my work or something. Had Lily gotten the Fantasy Bra like some people were predicting, I would've called her for the cover then and there. Her publicity would've gone through the roof and being able to say she wore the FB at VSFS and scored the SI swimsuit cover within months of each other would've been a huge selling point. But she didn't so I kind of ignored her as a possibility coverwise for a while but I'm pretty sure the KOL kind of confirms it. Otherwise, it would be a huge slap in the face to Lily and KOL. Thanks! Admittedly, I haven't paid any attention to this process in the past and I was curious if there was more to it than the news today. If not the cover, then she probably has a special "feature" like Kate did last year.

:x Plus, Karlie doesn't exactly scream swimsuit model like the rest of the girls. Looks like Ale was involved in the underwater shoot, those pictures could be cool.

Prior to the KOL news, what made people think Lily was in the running for the cover? Was it mostly opinion/speculation/personal preference?

I don't think it's going to be a shower either, at first it sounded like it might be but now it's looking less likely. It's probably just the TV special, maybe with an accompanying magazine but I kind of doubt that.

So confirmed so far are Joan, Ale and Lily. I'm still interested to see if Karlie shows up at all.

There was a chunk of 2014 where she was featured more in their shoots, but maybe that was a fluke. I'm still surprised she was ever allowed to be in SI in the first place but that's good to hear.
