I can't believe she's been working with Velvet for 12 years, that's amazing! I wonder if she's designing for them again this year or if that shoot was just as a face of the brand.

Didn't they start phasing out Lindsay in 2014/the last year of her contract too? Granted Karlie has a lot more star power than Lindsay does.

I enjoy Karlie's HF work but she's never really fit with VS for me. If they are in fact transitioning her out, none of the girls they're working with on a more regular basis really stand out to me as far as being an Angel goes - excluding Joan. I'd love for her to be signed but I don't think it's going to happen.

I just went to their twitter and you aren't kidding. All I see is Kendall, Cara, Gigi, VS (Lily always RTs them) with some Kate Moss thrown in.

I must've really not wanted to do my work or something. Had Lily gotten the Fantasy Bra like some people were predicting, I would've called her for the cover then and there. Her publicity would've gone through the roof and being able to say she wore the FB at VSFS and scored the SI swimsuit cover within months of each other would've been a huge selling point. But she didn't so I kind of ignored her as a possibility coverwise for a while but I'm pretty sure the KOL kind of confirms it. Otherwise, it would be a huge slap in the face to Lily and KOL. Thanks! Admittedly, I haven't paid any attention to this process in the past and I was curious if there was more to it than the news today. If not the cover, then she probably has a special "feature" like Kate did last year.

Prior to the KOL news, what made people think Lily was in the running for the cover? Was it mostly opinion/speculation/personal preference?

I don't think it's going to be a shower either, at first it sounded like it might be but now it's looking less likely. It's probably just the TV special, maybe with an accompanying magazine but I kind of doubt that.

So confirmed so far are Joan, Ale and Lily. I'm still interested to see if Karlie shows up at all.

There was a chunk of 2014 where she was featured more in their shoots, but maybe that was a fluke. I'm still surprised she was ever allowed to be in SI in the first place but that's good to hear.

I'm not a huge fan of the styling they've done for this shoot, but Lily looks lovely as always. It seems as if she's being used less which is a shame.

I agree with what pretty much everyone else has said. While I love Karlie's HF work, she's never struck me as a girl that fits well with VS. They were smart to sign her because she was everywhere at the time and maybe they thought she'd bring something different for the brand. I could see her staying beyond her initial 3 year contract if it's as non-restrictive as it is now, tbh. But it also wouldn't surprise me in the least if they parted ways amicably once hers is up, the only thing she really has left to do there is get the FB. I think Candice will sign with them one more time, she's still one of their younger girls in spite of being a vet. I do think that once she leaves she may sign a lucrative contract with a commercial brand that would still allow her to not do much work as far as shoots and traveling goes. Behati got really lucky because without VS she'd be nowhere (marrying Adam Levine certainly hasn't hurt, either). She's pretty meh to me, especially her work outside of VS, but I think they're really going to push her this year and unless she gets pregnant this year and isn't walking, I think it's safe to say the FB is going to be hers. Post-VS, I don't think she'll have much of a career and will be famous simply for being "Adam Levine's wife" for however long that lasts. Lily has mentioned wanted to start some kind of line of her own. She already has her partnership with Velvet so I wouldn't be surprised if once she left VS (probably in 2016 when her contract is up) if she focused on that and a few editorials here and there. When she's not working, she seems really focused on her family life. Lindsay is starting her own cosmetics line and I hope it does well since I always liked her even if she was a bit of a bore. Are Ale and Adriana involved in the second part of this swim thing?

I've always been under the impression that Lily, Behati and Candice work with VS the most (with Candice seemingly getting the most outside work of the three) while the other girls only show up for the big events/shoot less frequently.

Lily was involved in part I of the swim shoot. It has been a while since she's shot for the lingerie though, or at least it appears that way.

I don't think it was for VS. She was with someone who works for Vogue Japan and W, but it seemed as if it was for just Michael Kors. I'd love if she was the face of a new campaign for him!
