Doutzen Kroes guarantees a spot in the net round with a win over Naoumie Ekiko, and Danielle Knudson and Georgia Fowler play out the first draw of the tournament. The top two in each group will automatically qualify, but the four best third place models will also progress, so this draw will give both Danielle and Georgia a good chance of going through. Group E (as it stands) Country Model Points Goal Difference Netherlands Doutzen Kroes 6 +3 Canada Danielle Knudson 4 +6 New Zealand Georgia Fowler 1 -1 Cameroon Naoumie Ekiko 0 -8

Full Time Netherlands (Doutzen Kroes) 5 V Cameroon (Naoumie Ekiko) 3 Canada (Danielle Knudson) 4 V New Zealand (Georgia Fowler) 4

No surprise that Lais chalks up another win, but Ming Xi beating Candice Swanepoel is a bit less expected. Group B (as it stands) Spain Clara Alonso 6 +7 China Ming Xi 3 0 Germany Toni Garrn 3 -5 South Africa Candice Swanepoel 0 -2

No one was messing around today. Easy wins for Ji Hye Park, Clara Alonso and Agathe Teyssier. This means France are definitely through to the next round, and unfortunately Nigeria are the first country to be knocked out of the tournament. A big win for Hannah Ferguson (although not quite as big as the 13-0 that her compatriots managed in the real World Cup!), and also for Josefina Cisternas, who looks like she might have enough support to cause a few more upsets in this competition. The match between New Zealand and the Netherlands was predictably close, with Doutzen just coming out on top. The narrow defeat for Georgia Fowler will still give a good chance to progress to the next round though. Groups as they stand - Group E Country Model Points Goal Difference Canada Danielle Knudson 3 +6 Netherlands Doutzen Kroes 3 +1 New Zealand Georgia Fowler 0 -1 Cameroon Naoumie Ekiko 0 -6 Group F Chile Josefina Cisternas 3 +5 USA Hannah Ferguson 3 +5 Sweden Elsa Hosk 0 -5 Thailand Yada Villaret 0 -5

It does. I took it from Josefine's thread, but I think you are right

A good start to the tournament for Danielle Knudson, who is in the very competitive Group E. Miki Hamano did well to beat Camila Morrone, which should make group D very interesting. Groups as they stand - Group C Country Model Points Goal Difference Brazil Lais Ribeiro 3 +6 Australia Charlie Austin 3 +4 Italy Bianca Balti 0 -4 Jamaica Tami Williams 0 -6 Group D Japan Miki Hamano 3 +2 England Alexina Graham 3 +2 Argentina Camila Morrone 0 -2 Scotland Zelda Heloise Smyth 0 -2
