She inked a 1 million pounds deal with Veet, which is approximately 1.4 million dollars. Her previous contract with them was worth half a million.

I think they're very conscious of the fact that, it's not as big as the main show. Heck, they're not even pushing it as much. They pulled in decent ratings last year and it was actually cool to watch. Plus their products were finely displayed. I guess it was a success that's why they're doing it again. And they're using the same promo strategy as last year

FYI, that wasn't my point (because by the time I posted that the red carpet had already started and Ale was on E! so obviously she wasn't gonna be there). My point was, if L'Oréal can have the good sis, Barbara P there last year, VS wouldn't have had to move mountains to have one of the most visible models in the world there...but ahright!

Attending the oscars isn't as hard as ot used to be. Some of these models don't need a famous bf to get a ticket. (See Academy Awards 2015)

She had to be the girl with the most amount of presence in the show. I would have recognized her from a mile away while, the others were all almost identical. I'm so happy and emotional about what D Versace said about her. Like, it took the industry this long to recognize her as a strong model with such a domineering presence in print and especially runway. On the other hand, she really didn't make an effort to show them her full potential (which I'm not even condemning her for because she had a solid spot in the commercial world and was easily getting her millions). Regardless, I'm happy she's doing stuff like this more now... And this is almost a clear indication tjat she'll be in the campaign (don't quote me tho :rofl:)

You're not mistaken. Models might not get mainstream American magazine covers but they still have a lot of clout in the advertising arena. Who cares about covers anyway? Celebs themselves are struggling to make people pick up magazines they front at the newsstand (don't get me started on all the 2015 kardashian/jenner cover flops) and the money is in campaigns so...

Josephine is their best decision since Candice. The girls is a perfect 10. And that in-your-face sex appeal is FAYA!
