  1. As if Bruno Mars' Chunky isn't bad itself? Kinda an oxymoron the name itself.
  2. I'm adding this to my runway playlist for when I walk the dog at night, I love a song with a solid beat to walk to. The beat makes or breaks a good walk. Something a lot of the songs have been lacking in recent shows.
  3. Honestly, I hope this is left how it is and Hamish and his editing team don't get their grubby paws on it, this is actually very beautifully done. I was entranced from beginning to end, Gaga's interaction with the models was just enough and she gave them their time to shine, the music was beautiful, and her vocals were spot on. VS please don't ruin this with your shitty editing and cuts to different backstage drama no one cares about.
  4. Ale probably didn't want to walk next to Lily again after she snubbed her. You can see her reach out in the first finale, and Lily turning her head away at the same time, its like when you wave to someone that was waving to someone behind you xD
  5. I'm not questioning the legitimacy of her relationship, I actually applaud her. I think the models dating more influential and powerful men are quite smart, I'm actually more worried about girls dating guys just living run of the mill lives, while they're making millions off these angel contracts. i.e. Candace Let's be real, they're getting a taste of stardom and money, I wouldn't want to go back to average life once I hit 30-35 afterward.
  6. Well she did go on that fancy yacht with none of them in sight, maybe its kinda just uncomfortable. There are the girls that date for love and maybe some that see this as an opportunity to date for status. If I was an Angel I wouldn't date any average joe, I would be running after millionaires too because I know my career is short xD
  7. He slid into those DMs and landed himself an Angel, what a success story
  8. I agree, a lot of concepts and designs "bleed" into different segments, a lot of designs are just rehashes of what we've seen before too. Like Kelly Gale in MR, I thought for sure that was an old pic of her from when Rihanna did the show and that was an outfit from Angels in Bloom. That being said, some of his looks were repetitious and the more themed segments were kinda all over the place. I can't hate on his work though because I liked the older shows more but they were far from perfect. I think the difference between Todd Thomas and the new designer is what Gisele once said "Its a show its a cabaret". Todd's work was very much theatrical and visually appealing where as the new designer is more high fashion and sticking to certain colors and themes, while Todd went all over the place with some of his segments.
  9. I'm not to certain about AYO or the "mystery" song that happens before John Wayne, but John Wayne is a great song to walk to. Very upbeat.
  10. You're right, panicked too early. I didn't type in his full username so he didn't show up for some reason. Crisis averted, everyone can go home!
  11. Omg I pressed on one of those Confession pages once when I was scrolling through on IG and then refreshed and my entire page was covered in them, and they're always so stupid. There's a reason why they're anonymous confessions because no sane person would say half those things.
  12. He was literally spinning in circles with his arms spread out wide while poor Anya with her massive wings and tiny frame almost died trying to walk by and then turn around.
  13. I think they have a single designer or "sketch artist" from what I understand. Watching the "Making of" video series they had on youtube they point out that they have one person design all the outfits around themes that were thought up prior. Then they outsource all of the work to different "artisans." They try to make it sound fancier by saying "well we don't have one person making our clothes, we have a whole team from across the globe bringing in the finest fabrics and hand painting everything." I think Todd Thomas was a little more hands on with his designing but he had his fair share of blunders that people's memories tend to block out.
  14. They made it clear in a previous year that, "countless celebrities ask if they can walk the runway but we reserve that to only the best models currently in fashion." I think it was 2006, it was a clip with Ed Razek inbetween segments I'm not 100% sure what year.
  15. Not 100% relevant with the show but did Izabel and Kevin Trapp break up? I just noticed they're no longer following each other, I checked out his account figuring I'd see some mention of the show or congratulatory post but nothing. I'm dead.
  16. I Jessica Hart doesn't say anything about it then she's good in my book.
  17. He did that when Bella was looking straight at him too, he's a boy in a candy store that one. Can't blame him though.
  18. I'm still bummed out they took that beautiful staircase and covered it up. With the money they spent covering all the beauty of that building they could've just paid to have the Armory shipped to France like the Statue of Liberty. I think that was the biggest let down with the show because I'm quite happy about the rest, other than some questionable song choices for some segments. i.e. "Chunky" in Pink Nation
  19. It's like CBS read Bellazon and picked almost all the outfits people have had issues with or just straight up didn't like
  20. Uh she stood on the side of the runway in both of her segments like the majority of the time, I think people are forgetting about Taylor and Akon stomping around the runway flailing their arms around, Gaga is a class act and if she's stealing the show its not because she was running around the runway its because she has stage presence and charisma, she draws people in and thats what makes her such a successful singer and performer.
  21. @Prettyphile you're really doing God's work pulling all of these pics of every model and posting them. Thank you again, using Gypsy Queen Babs as my home screen from a pic you posted for me earlier.
  22. I agree! Plus we're spoiled rotten with wings nowadays, most segments had 2 or 3 back then and now most segments have a good 60-70% of their looks with some sort of wing or adornment. Everyone always comments about how "their" model didn't get wings or was robbed not opening or closing. But the shows in the mid to late 2000s were far more repetitious, simpler, and with fewer wings. I guess ultimately you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't. There'll be criticism from both ends whether something is changed.
  23. Thank you! @BAGGOT
  24. I don't think its fair comparing the highlights of one show and the low lights of another. Some people seem to forget that shows back then were equally as shitty if not worse in the outfit department. I had linked a picture of Ale in 2003 Sexy Super Heroines wearing a body suit with a chinese dragon running up her stomach, what does that have to do with fighting crime? There were plenty of ugly outfits in the years prior to this and that comes from someone who watches each year at least a couple times from start to finish annually. If we're gonna knock something its the choice of music, the remixes back in the day were legendary, I still have a playlist of every song from 2003 to present of every track that was played in chronological order and I find myself skipping the newer years more often than the ones almost a decade ago. We also can't knock the design aspect of the show because from what we've seen in the "Making of" segments sketches are made and then hired artisans get what they see and interpret it how they want, then it eventually is edited and fitted.
  25. Looking at it now, I really wouldn't have a problem with this being Iza's last year in the show. She has had an amazing year so far, campaign with Nike, Two outfits and two wings in the show this year, at the Rio Olympics, and that yummy footballer boyfriend Kevin Trapp. I would be on Cloud 9 if I was Iza right now.
