I hate bogey teams damn Portsmouth <_< Sydney? Can't complain I guess You'll have to come down to experience it yourself The Belgians sound like England but better
  2. red_ed replied to goose's topic in Sports

:ddr: How are the Brugge doing? Last time you told me they were 4th... are they improving?
  4. red_ed replied to goose's topic in Sports
really? maybe we should swap HAHAHA that's great *taunts Herve* I know Van Buyten and Simons (Y) They're pretty good players Haven't heard of Maarten Martens though. What a name! Like John Johnson, Erik Eriksson or other people like that and Erik Eriksson was an improtant figure in developmental psychology... I bet he had a suffered some psychological scarring while he was developing :| Anyway, I should stop with the randomness You hear that Herve? Brugge can't beat Lokeren according to Yannick

HAHA! I know you'd come back...I know you miss my sexy red ass too much Let's get it on :brows: I think Milan played a near perfect game. If it was an exam, you'd probably have gotten a mark of 95% Seedorf is actually useful Hahaha that wasn't Manyoo's real backline though. They missed both their centrebacks in Rio and Vidic and a rightback with experience in Neville. Vidic played the second leg but he wasn't match fit They normally aren't as bad at the back usually and yes, Evra was a big loss too because he is so influential in their wing play but maybe it was better that Heinze was there to start the second leg anyway for defensive reasons. 3 finals in 5 years...I'll never understand how that works It's like Erikson and his record of just 4 losses as head of England (I could've sworn he lossed 100x as many games :lost:) The Xmas tree formation was great, but it seemed to me like a compromise between the usual 4-4-2 and the 4-3-2-1 in the respect that Kaka was more of a striker than he was a midfield playmaker. He seemed to be a lot further forward than when I usually see him and many times he lead the line on the counter instead of having the 2 strikers pushing up and giving him the space he thrives on. However, I may just a bit confused as to how Milan operate their 4-3-2-1 because at other times it did seem that Milan played a 4-5-1 with Kaka and Seedorf supporting Inzaghi The defending worked perfectly as well, with Gattuso roaming the back and being able to double up on Ronaldo everytime he got the ball See you in Athens

boooo... we have nothing in Australia damn your DTV :persuazn: I should move to Belgium Will you let me live in your basement? :| damn! there goes my plan of getting you 2 to start fighting <_< damn son! why are you guys so bad this season? I'm sure you guys will be a lot better next season then (Y) The last time a Belgian club played in the Champions League was when Anderlecht were in the same group as Liverpool, Chelsea, Betis right? I think they set a new record for number of games lost successively or something Who is Dembele? I've heard of Buffel and probably a few other Belgians but not many

You'd be surprised if I told you what I think. I am a Zen master, at piece with my mind and at one with the universe
  8. red_ed replied to goose's topic in Sports
I meant the first leg I won't be able to watch the second leg either though because they're only showing Sevilla vs Osasuna here hahaha that sounds kind of like Arsenal Doe Lokeren have a rivalry with Brugge? Because that's the club Herve supports... you should tease him :| 15th? Where do you normally finish? I think UEFA Cup might be a more realistic target...there's only 1 champions league spot on offer in Belgium right? AZ are good...I like/ Shota Aarveladze (Y) I haven't seen my teams play before because I've never been to Europe But I'm organising a trip there some time after this year then I can go I suggest you invest in a sarcasm detector when you talk with teh ed  but was I being sarcastic about the sarcasm?

Now you make me want to watch it I'll see what I can dig up on youtube... and I've heard of Lokeren from somewhere for some reason I thought it was in some Scandanavian country though How are Lokeren doing at the moment? and I'm a Liverpool and Valencia supporter

no one likes watching teams play long balls <_< I'd much rather we kept the ball on the ground That would be the sensible thing to do but Bremen only have one solution to their problems...attack I missed the first leg between Espanyol and Bremen and I don't really watch Espanyol play much....I think I've seen them play twice this year: against Barca and recently against Valencia Do you support any teams?
  17. red_ed replied to goose's topic in Sports
Long balls <_< It's Liverpool's specialty :yuckky: You're banking on Espanyol and Sevilla? Me too...although I'd rather Werder make it to the finals That would mean a good game tonight :knives:
  18. red_ed replied to goose's topic in Sports
Besides Arsenal and Manyoo, it is very boring Barca aren't playing too well at the moment anyway but Valencia and Inter would've made good inclusions How is Werder down 3-0? Sevilla against Osasuna at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan should be a great contest to watch too

true, me too im confident. the only one who worries me is Kaka.. he's a one-man reckoning force.. He reaped havoc in Istanbul, but I'm hoping that his temporary transition into a more advanced position will help our cause as he won't be able to play in between the lines. He's much better as a trequartista than he is as a striker, which is scary if you think about it :| Hopefully Rafa has learnt his lesson about not man-marking Kaka though :magic:
  20. red_ed replied to goose's topic in Sports
well we have a 100% record against Milan in Europe (1 out of 1 ) but Milan have had joy in Athens before (they beat Barca there). I'm confident Ancelotti will lose to Rafa again, but will the Milan squad be better than ours? :| Athens here we come
  21. red_ed replied to goose's topic in Sports
It's cos we're all off crying into our beers. Milan really went for it and Man U were seriously lacking. Well I hope Liverpool will kick some butt in the final. I don't mind an English club winning as long as it's not Chelsea. It depends which Milan show up I guess If Liverpool win, we're tied on cups with Milan, but if Milan win then Kaka will have a Champions League medal which would be good to see too
  22. red_ed replied to goose's topic in Sports
Boumsong Maybe he'll continue with the black and white striped club tradition by playing for Udinese next season Juve seem to be connected with everyone <_<

it's a ghost town here :lost: why was Solksjaer not subbed on?
  25. red_ed replied to goose's topic in Sports
How bloody classy have Milan been? Both their strikes were class...should be a cracking second half I think Manyoo's inexperience in the back line has cost them. If Neville were there he would be able to steady the ship (yes, I paid Gary Neville a compliment ) Manyoo should play with a higher defensive line
