That would be no worse than England taking Andy Johnson That guy seriously had a balancing problem. Maybe the spiritual presence of the goalkeeper in the box caused him to fall down so often So, once again, my reply has drifted off into lala-land...what are you going to do about it? :knives:

So, you're a Leeds supporter BUT you like Liverpool? That's like a Barca supporter rooting for Espanyol

Let's not forget the last minute save in injury time and the goalkeeping heroics that were only displayed during penalties Definitely. It'll be interesting to see who they buy. Most of Milan's acquisitions seem odd to me for some reason Henry is to Arsenal as Gerrard is to Liverpool... Does anyone else consider Sheva and Henry as similar types of players or is it just me? Especially comparing to the Sheva that carried Dynamo. Other than that I'd say the most noticable differences between them are Henry's inability to poach (He can only score spectacular goals!!! ) and Henry's aerial ability, or there lackof. I despise Seedorf <_< He has a gun of a shot. That's it. He never impresses. (N)

*sigh* where to start a) LIVERPOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...and yes, we did play like crap b) Milan need to buy some good reinforcements this year. Even though you went 2 years without a trophy, it might be comforting to know that, according to your track record, you guys are the best team in Europe. Over the past few years, you've won the Champions League and consistently made it into the semis/finals. All you really need is to lift the curse of Milan *cough* Deportivo and Liverpool *cough* In the summer, I think you would do well if you brought Gallas, Barzgali, Sneijder and Daniel Alves in to replace Cafu. Anyone else? I'm not too sure... c) For me, Henry and Eto'o are just a good. Both are fast and strong, able to make chances out of nothing. Both are great finishers. Eto'o has good anticipation and speed of thought (which is ever so important). He consistently performs on all stages for both club and country. Henry on the other hand, does not always perform well on the big stage, though the captain's armband has remedied that somewhat. Henry is definitely more spectacular with his finishing and unlike Eto'o, drops quite deep on a regular basis. If I could only pick one of them in my team, it would have to be Henry. They both score about the same amount of goals, but Henry's ability to play others into the game and create scoring chances makes him a more valuable player, in my opinion. d) France's selection has suprised me somewhat. Ribery was a great inclusion and he'll definitely be the player to watch for in the French squad. But why Boumsong and not Mexes? That's absurd! They already have Abidal there for physical presence! They don't need Boumsong, who's not having the best of seasons either. Pires' exclusion I can understand and Domenech seems to have something against Giuly as well <_< Cisse and Wiltord don't need to be there either. But I guess I have no basis for judgement as I don't really know what formation France'll be playing *cough* 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 *cough* I'm betting they play Ribery or Cisse on the right. If not, they can always play Dhorasoo on the left and push Malouda out to the right. e) Chelsea suck

Not for long though. How are you? He was good but I think he's planning a move back to Ajax. Nothing's certain at the moment according to speculation. Don't join Chelski

not since he joined blackburn temperament is suspect, but hughes has made him a good striker. Apparently he has 13 goals in 22 starts this season

i hope unless they get snatched away or fail to develop correctly Your midfield is strong You'll need some reinforcements in the back and forwards though. Also, you'll need some experienced players to guide the young ones. Too bad Davids is leaving. But he's not exactly a role model.

Ed's to-watch list: May 13: Liverpool vs West Ham FA Cup Final May 17: Anthony "The Man" Mundine vs Danny "The Green Machine" Green :lullaby: May 17: Barca vs Gooners UEFA Champions League Final Predicted winners: Liverpool, Danny Green, Barca

*sigh* so true but if he were to leave now, Spurs would be the club of choice. Jol has the plans set up and he's recruiting youngsters like there's no tomorrow. The Spurs squad will be a title-contender in a couple of seasons, when they mature.

should be an interesting match . . . sorry to say it but i'm going to have to go for West Ham. it would be nice for some different teams to win it every so often and West Ham are cool i hope that the rumours linking Nigel Reo-Coker with Spurs are true but Liverpool don't win the FA Cup much

More to do with keeping them healthy and raring to go for the Champions' League. Also, there have been a few injury issues as well. But Henry seems to be missing too much. Is Wenger bracing for life without his captain for a second season? Pure speculation of course

Liverpool-West Ham final We're about to win the FA Cup. Arsenal don't seem like they're going to clinch 4th spot, but they have a chance of winning the Champions' League They're talisman and captain is leaving as well How the roles have been reversed

It was suprising to see Eboue, Fabregas and Henry not starting though. Wenger says qualifying through the Champion's League is a harder route, but his actions suggest that's exactly what he's trying to do. He's not playing Henry as much anymore. Wenger is a hypocrite though, when it comes to fair play. He's had an eyesight problem for such a long time. The incident at hand was a bit hard to call as no Spurs players were involved. It's hard to make a call to stop play, but I'll just side with the ref this time. He urged play on, so Carrick played it on
