The rules are pretty simple. The offside rule is a bit tricky though, but it's a handy tool. If you're ever unsure whether a woman is actually a man at a bar, then you can always go up to them and ask them how the offside rule works. Any coherent answer will indicate that she is actually a he

I agree, our scouting dept. does suck <_< and our acadeny is not much better. We've sold off some promising youth but Paul Anderson and Craig Lindfield should both be getting more games in the near future (Y) Anyway, it was all Houllier's fault so the last 5 years shouldn't even count Diouf, Heskey and Diao? What the hell are they? Cheyrou? Never heard of him :| but Alonso, Agger, Sissoko and Kuyt are all top-class (maybe not world-class though ). Crouch is so-so...he was a great buy but not top-class. He's good at being the target man but most people don't notice his off the ball contribution. He ran more than Gerrard in nearly every game last season, he holds up the ball and gets others involved. Not to mention this season he has an awesome scoring record (nearly 1 in every 2 matches) despite not being played regularly. That being said, you wouldn't see him on any other top team like Inter, Chelsea or Madrid. And yes, Gerrard probably should've moved to another league, or at least another top team, to improve a long time ago but I'm glad he has stayed loyal. That's something that is hard to find. He's Liverpool through and through and it might be that factor which makes him give 110% in a red shirt. I'm not sure if he'd give that much effort on any other team though He's still young now and under Rafa he has matured a lot more in terms of discipline and tactical knowledge and he'll be even better in the future I think

and yougsters we couldn't afford e.g., Walcott and Aguero both professed their love for Liverpool but we couldn't afford them. Neither could we afford Gareth Bale at the moment or Denilson and Diaby, who both went to Arsenal. It sucks that we can't trump other clubs in terms of money. So yeh, money can work wonders as well...but at what price to the club?

We were planning to get them anyway to suit our 4-4-2. The only way it would've disrupted the squad would have been cliques and egos and just the fact that we would have needed to get used to their style of play, but as for tactics, nothing major was going to be changed... maybe except for accomodating for Villa instead of Crouch

I hope not I still want to continue the project we have now, by picking players that will make a difference in the squad and not just buy any household name for the sake of it. It's just that the extra money will give us more ability to buy the players we want on the market. e.g. instead of Arbeloa, we can get Daniel Alves; instead of Pennant, Simao or Joaquin; instead of Crouch, David Villa. If we got all our targets back then we would have a lot more quality in the squad than we have now. The difference between first choice and the rest is enormous in Rafa's transfer list and I expect the money to help us get our top targets, but to go out and try to buy Torres or something is stupid. We don't really need him and I don't think he would contribute much to the squad. Frankly, I feel is somewhat over-rated <_<

So now Liverpool is linked to every Spanish player under the sun. Woot! Let's buy our way to the title <_<

I don't think Manyoo should sell either, and nor should Ronaldo move. He's learning his trade with Manyoo and the EPL is toughening him up and forcing him to play with pace and strength. He should stay for another season or so before he makes his move. When he moves he'll be able to advance his tactics and learn more about making the right decisions though

*sigh* I don't even feel like Manc-bashing at the moment because of this take-over Aren't the Glazer's sons in charge or something? Have the sons watched any games? Did the Glazeers fund the extension to OT or was that already planned even before the take-over...it seems like nothing much has happened since the take-over Besides being £500 million in debt, you still have the same transfer kitty, the same stadium, same team, same everything really... :lost:

Isn't Tuncay a striker usually? If I had to pick anyone from Fenebache it'd most definitely be Alex de Souza I'd be more inclined to play Tuncay up front, with Roon in the hole and Kalou as the right winger with Ronaldo on the left. Definitely a Manc...be sure to stick around... I'm a Liverpudlian but there's no point fighting now, We're both American <_< *chants sarcastically* USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!

Italy and Spain should sit up and take note. If England can stamp it out then anyone can...maybe except those crazy South Americans Italy and Spain really need to control their crowds, even if it is only a minority

West Ham, Villa, Manyoo, Chelsea, Liverpool and Fulham are all under foreign investment. Turning into Chelski isn't the number one concern for me. It's the identity and traditions of the club. The Americans know nothing about the club's history and said as much in their interviews <_<

Klaas, Emanuelson, Sneijder and Maduro to Liverpool

Even with that taken into consideration, I'm not sure how I feel at the moment. I guess only time will tell if I'll still love my club as much as I do now.

And Babel has so much strength I was watching him create the 2nd goal and he didn't bundle over (it was really poor defending though) and he even picked out the pass. I thought he only had pace and shooting. Where Klaas? Is he off because of his form? Urby is playing well too but he's still very raw, but he's go a wicked left foot.

So, we're owned by Americans now and I don't know what I should be feeling. Should I be happy that we have funding and can compete with the Manyoo and Chelsea, or should I be sad that the club I support has sold out. Should I be happy or disappointed that my club is another club that can buy the Premier League? All I ever wanted was to support my club like a good fan should. It didn't matter that we were a second-tier side or that we hadn't won the Championship in over 17 years. I just wanted us to build on our success and I didn't mind doing things the hard way. Success is sweeter when you earn it Now I don't know what the identity of my club is. Will it change dramatically or will it operate the same as before? Even if the latter were to be true, could I shrug off the stigma that I associate with being owned by foreign investors? *sigh*
