Victoria's Secret themself doesn't really announce them anymore, it's more like the media says they're in and then they just sort of merge into being an Angel (or at least that's the way I saw it). Karlie was announced when she did the Swim event because it listed her as "Meet the VS Angels" and the media went wild. I don't remember VS themselves posting something such as "Welcome our new Angel!", or maybe if they did I didn't really pay attention to it. I think they're intending to announce a bunch of girls all at once though, that's maybe why they've kept somewhat hush over the past few months with all the Angel changes.
