Hey Sheila, thanks for the invitation. As you know i am still in Cape Town right know and the Elle editorial is out. Its not a a HF editorial as the Marie Claire Australia ed but still beautiful. Gonna make some pics tomorrow.

Thanks Sheila, Libelle and Alice that You Are with me. @Gavin: I don't try to insult Luisa or her career, I am just realistic. I work in this Industry now for many many years. I think i know what I am talking about. It's a fast that MM is not the best Agency for a good HF career or do you know a model which they developed succesfully in this direction in the last years? No Agency is planning anything for you, if it is not your mother agency. They just gonna try things when the model is in town. But than you going to do the work your portfolio is showing or your MA is saying to the foreign agency. Why did Luisa not do any good editorial while she was in London and just Onlineshop?! Maybe something else will pop up but i doubt it. Luisa should have stayed in NY and go for the Show season. You just need a great look and some good tests if you are a new face and can walk than good shows. Don't get way they send her to Australia or way she never went back. I am not dissapointed that Luisa is not doing the career we want for her, but we just have to realize that her career gonna be commercial and not high fashion as long she is not switching her MA. No i haven't met Carolin at a shooting. Met her at a Club, Joana at a Restaurant and Toni on the beach. Sheila thanks for the invitation, gonna right something at carolins Thread.

No Mike B. if you are not a friend or related to her and have other informations, than we more or less no her jobs. Luisa is posting, when she is in another country working. not every job but at least this information. MM is a commercial agency, like almost every agency in germany. But in case of MM they don't manage models to become HF girls. Even when they and Model Managament Hamburg are the german part of Elite Models Agency. As long Luisa is staying in with MM she will never have a HF career. IMG cannot do anything without the permission of MM. Be realistic there a lot of new promising models in there list, why should they make an effort for a model the mother agency is not trying to make a HF girl?! We see the same happening with Carolin who has potential. Joana is a commercial girl, Marie became a commercial girl. Lena G aswell and thats why she switched and starts over with Mega Models to become more a fashion girl ( i doubt it will work). So all and all Luisa is going to be a good working commercial girl. @ Sheila: Lovelyn did Bonprix online shop, Luisa the real catalogue. Thats a huge difference. I wonder if Luisa is still in Cape town? I am also since 6 weeks in Cape town for modeling and met Carolin, Joana and Toni Garrn. Would love to see Luisa in person ( and tell her to get out of MM and switch to a better agency )

hopefully she is changing to a better agency. d management is one of the week ones. she should be with boss or vision as carolin, outlwas as I am or Ice or fusion models or max models. they have much better connections to the high fashion market than all other agencys.

Yeah how do you know she is back in cape town? hopefully she stays there till february or march, cause the high season is from jan. till march. and i will also gonna be there working from jan till march. so i can meet her

Have the same opinion as Sheila and Rosa Negra. I think it was me who was the most critical person, cause I am working in the business. I think we really have to be more realistic. She is becoming more and more a commercial, which I was already saying month ago. As I said even editorials are more commercial Eds than HF. Still don't think MM is the best agency for here. She needs an agency, who is doing a new start with her. But the biggest problem is I think that she is too famous in Germany. She won't do much editorials in germany soon, just if she is becoming more established. Look at Carolin Sünderhauf, she is working so much better. And is easily switching even in germany between HF and Commercial Jobs. Wanna really know, if Luisa is happy with the way her career goes.

The Editorial is boring for Elle Magazine. I like pic 5 the most, the rest is more mehh

I think Sheila is rigth. She is turning into a Commercial Model which is not bad, but we would love to see her in Calvin Klein for example. Also her body looks more for commercial. She looks great in the bikini pics from Topshop but you can see that she is not skinny enough for HF. Even the Grazia Ed wasn't a HF ed it was much more commercial as the Tous Jewelry campaign, too. I don't think any more that she will become a HF topmodel, her HF look she had from GNTM got a little bit lost from the strange management from OE and MM and her new look with the bit longer hair. But still, she is working good as model and earning good money, and thats the most important thing. A commercial model has longer life in this industry.

It has to be good job. Two of my favorite international male topmodels are featured. Harvey Newton and Sebastian Sauve!!!

There are really no limits how long you have to wait,till a job gets published. For some you have to wait a few weeks and for other ones more than half a year or maybe you will never see the pictures at all. yeah i think she is not in her best shape, but as we all know. it also could be the lightning or the perspective or somthing else. but i like her much more with shorter and thinner her.

actually the pic with her friends looks like "mottotage" or "mottowoche". She probably have done her a levels. Maybe it is a bit later on Ostfriesland than in other states. But also haven't seen her on the Castings. Just saw the GNTM newbies. Maybe Luisa has directbookings and is just coming for the shows. we will see at the end of the week.

It's not everything about having covers. normally you not doing many covers, just if you are maybe a big topmodel. I don't think they really holding her back. She was doing good Editorials in Australia and Spain, but not real HF editorials rather than more commercial looking ones. If the magazines in London for example wanted to book her, they would do it. They probably don't see her as a HF model. In my opinion she can be a HF model, but with her look at the beginng on gntm. She was a bit skinnier, her face wasn't as round as it is now. she looked absolutely gorgeous at jad ghandour show and lookbook aswell at claudine ivari show and alexis mabille. It is normal that no GNTM Winner is listed on models.com Nobody have done big fashion shows in milan, paris or ny or big international campaigns. These are normally the models which get listed there.

I think OE is still here motheragency, cause IMG would probably take her out of OE. It is normal to use the Book for the agency in the country you working. The agencys mostly give you a book when you arrive, and probably take it back when you are leaving. If you keep it, than they will charge money for it. In her London Book there are pics of the Escada campaign Ally Rose.

I think Luisa is one of the models, who is not watching her own career as we are. She is probably working so much, that she is not really interested when her jobs coming out. A lot of models have kinda this attitude like " yeah i did an editorial last week, but don't know when it will be published." I am for example the totaly opposite, and always looking forward for my editorials, campaigns and even catalogue or online shop pics. Maybe thats the reason she is mostly just posting pics, somebody already have found.

Don't forget there are hundreds of other models in Germany and the other countrys. So not everything is about her. Her look at the moment is much more commercial, i think it is also her hair. it should be shorter again. Like her hair at gntm. She is a bit losing her edge with this a bit longer her. Also the book is more commercial. The only HF editorials she has are the HB/Elle Australia eds. The other ones are more commerical. So thats why she is getting booked for thoses jobs. MM should place her with a good agency in turkey or maybe athens, to get nice HF editorials. It's much easier to get a great HF book, if you have a great look. Also going to Capetown would be a good choice, but the agency was the wrong choice in my opinion. But we will see whats happen next.

Would make more sense if she was with boss models, since one of her imgmodelsaustralia agents was a former booker with boss and Caroline Sunderhauf is also listed. Darja O'donell, the owner of dmanagement Cape town is german, maybe that is one of the reasons Luisa ended up there ? The owners of boss models and ice models are also german. And one of the Bookers at Outlaws is german aswell. So it doesn't mean something. And to Mike B: She must have been listed recently, cause i was looking at the agencys models a few month ago, cause of friend is signed with them. And I didn't saw Luisa at that time.

why is she with dmanagement in capetown? she is way to good for the agency. she should have been with, boss models, ice models, outlaws models( my agency in capetown) or with fusion. these are the best agencys.

yes, they have this paragraph in there contract. sarah-anessa told me last sommer at a berlin fw casting, that mr. klum has the right to extend the contract as long as he want. to get out of it, is a difficult and expensive procedure. thats why they dont give the winners a huge trophy money anymore, cause for example jana and alisar could easily pay they way out of the contract.

I don't understand your words, why are high fashion models not allowed to do commecial jobs? Because many High fashion models also have good fashion campaigns, mostly because of their popularity they got at catwalk and with designer campaigns. See Toni Garrn, she is doing high fashion , is on some catwalk shows and also get's commercial jobs. Also Claudia did both in past and now High Fashion and commercial jobs. She is in Vogue , wearing Haute Couture and she is brand ambassador for Opel and launching a haircare line for Schwarzkopf. And many other topmodels are doing H&M which is for me very commercial and also Peter Hahn, Otto etc. Not high fashion range. I think Luisa is a great model but I don't think she will ever get a topmodel. Might it be because of her agencys or what ever. I follow her carreer since I first recognized her at GNTM. She is nice and beautiful but many other young models are this also. The competition today is very hard. And you have to bear many things , friends, familiy , easy life etc. much travelling, to get a topmodel these times. And I also think to do high fashion she has to work at her body. She has a great body but look at the girls walking in Milan and Paris. When IMG would see her soon at these catwalks she would be in development of other citys. I also wonder why they are not pushing her. There might be two reasons: they don't see the potential compared to other models or OE , or possilbe also MM are avoiding this, because they want to have exclusivly the rights on Luisas carreer. But let us wait again and see what will happen. But momently it seems like Bootstrap writes. I can fully agree to that. I think we should accept that Luisa is still bound to OE for what reason ever and it might be possible she prolongs the contract? That's right, that Claudia or Toni doing some commercial jobs, but Claudia for example is a Brand and is promoting her personality. H&M, Mango, Otto and so on are Commercial Fashion brands and it's is the highest of theses group of brands. But what I mean is, models who get developed into HF wouldn't get booked for jobs like a vodafone or coca cola tvc, which is most of the times a lot money, cause of the normal fee for the shooting days and the buyouts. It's far away from HF. HF clients don't like to book models who have done to much commercial jobs. If you see a big topmodel doing this job, it's because the client wants a big name for this job and the model is selling her famous personality rather than the product. If Luisa stays a normal Fashion Model she can do Jobs like Camp David and also do for example a Bellstaff campaign.

Very nice Editorial! But each editorial shows, that she won't become a High Fashion Model. I think she becomes "just" a Fashion Model, who can and is allowed to do everything ( Commercial, Fashion and High Fashion Jobs). Actually this is really good for her, cause she will earn much more money than other High Fashion girls, who don't get the big campaigns and aren't allowed anymore to do commercial jobs.
