^Amazing...looks like she is doing regular stuff for VS again. The pickings had been pretty slim of late. I’ve heard her contract is coming to an end at the beginning of the year. VS would be insane to let her go.

^ Thanks for the tip on Josephine Skriver. I know she was a newbie at the VSFS this year, but nothing else. As you said, her shoot for Lui is nothing short of spectacular. I typically hate males in the pics but those were ok. Lui is definitely becoming a go to magazine for me. I love their risque brand of photography.

^ Agreed Bast. Its funny you mentioned the Edita shoot, because I was looking at that one as well today and thought the same thing. Lui has a great eye for these amazing models. Speaking of Edita, she did a great nude cover for them. Getting back to Martha, I don't know how else to say it, if VS does not lock her up as one of its next Angels next year they are absolute fools. I also hope she continues to do high fashion, as she is true natural. I looked at a couple of her fashiontv appearances on Youtube, entitled Model Talk: Martha Hunt. And low and behold, she has a big brain...not that I'm surprised. It was the first time I ever really heard her speak, other than the VS Paris commercial. She is incredibly bright, witty, and yet still very sexy. Throw in the pics and vid of her working out, in which she looks classically trained in ballet or gymnastics, and we have the makings of America's next truly great model. I just love how she tapes her feet and displays perfect form on all of her workouts. Needless to say, I have fallen head over heels for this woman. Does anyone have her fan mail address?

I couldn't agree more. Sexy and elegant are the words to come to my mind. Not tacky and prostitute Everyone is of course entitled to their opinion, but I think her critics are way off the mark

She is already on equal footing with the likes of Candice Swanepoel in my eyes. Given time and proper marketing, she may even challenge for the number one spot sooner than expected. Just love her. ^ Great minds think alike Bast...I've been saying it and I'll keep saying it. Martha is rising very quickly and is on the fast track to join Candice at the top of VS. As you stated, Martha's HF over the past three years has been absolutely phenomenal. I just recently discovered Martha's topless shoot for S Magazine in summer 2012. It is rare that I have seen something so stunning. Like Canidce, Martha has a unique, classical type of beauty and her body is beyond amazing. I was blown away by how natural she looked along side Candice, Lais, and Lily in the VS Paris commercial. She followed it up with brilliant debut on the runway at the VSFS. And now finally this!!! She stands toe-to-toe with my sweet baby Candice (Love her so much) in terms of looks, body, and class. Needless to say, I am now a huge fan/supporter of Martha's. Candice is my 1a and Martha is now my 1b. VS has another potential gold mine on its hands and needs to promote her to Angel status ASAP. Is she is marketed correctly, she will be household name in no time, especially being American.

I would like to see a red-head for VS too. That'd be so cool. I would rather see an Asian angel first than a black one because THAT would be new and different. Or both ! And Elsa is who I want to become an angel. Barbara isn't a new option either so I don't know where you are going with that. One day I hope to see a Native American angel *one day* . I personally know GORGEOUS Native American girls the likes of which the world is unaware of. It is an American brand after all and you don't get more American than a Native American, you just don't so don't even attempt to argue that point with me. REALLY. I take it you are a Native American women? Who are some Asian and Naive American models that VS can promote and elevate? I just don't know any off the top of my head.

I agree with most of this; all I will say is that they need to select very wisely and they desperately need multiple angels of color. And TexasLongHorn2013, I wouldn't be so sure about them fast-tracking Martha. This story could play out the same way as Palvin's if they just decide they don't like her anymore... I still don't get the whole blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl argument. If Doutzen leaves early next, that will mean three slots are open (after losing Miranda and Erin this year). Plenty of room for a blonde, a brunette, and a black model. Or a blonde and two black models (better scenario for me). Maybe its due to me being a guy that I am missing the point regarding the marketing of two top-tier blonde models? Martha has "It" and I think VS knows it. If you have been following Martha's career closely, as I have, and her recent work with VS, it seems pretty clear. I could be wrong but I don't think so. It was even capped off with a strong performance in the VSFS. She even got wings her first time out. Karlie was the last to do so I think. Let me say again, as a black male, I really appreciate the desire to have more black models and other models of color added to the VS brand. No one is accusing them of racism, but women of color are a big percentage of their base. I love Candice, Martha, Lily, and Doutzen, but long to see another Tyra Banks.

Other then Cynthia Dicker, I don't see a viable option for redheads. I just can't think of any. Wow...you have some pretty strong opinions. I will agree about Behati, she is hit or miss and not really special in my eyes. Of all the current Angels, I always questioned her elevation. So many more girls who are way more beautiful than she is. Lily a mistake? Wow!!! She is on the most beautiful and unique Angels to me. Her pics are always on point. But you are entitled to your opinion after all. Its pretty clear that Martha is being fast tracked. All the signs are there as she quickly moves up. I have now seen her matched up with Candice on a number of occasions and she more than holds her own. I think she will quickly rise to number 2 at VS. Many people say her and Candice look too much alike. I don't see it. They are both so unique to me. Finally, I am honestly happy that there is a consensus on the need for model of color (black or otherwise). Tyra and Naomi were absolutely electric and remain close to my heart. Selita Ebanks, Chanel Iman, and Joan smalls have all been great.
