For me, it hurts to sit up when I have cramps, so laying down and watching TV is the best relaxation and it takes my mind off the pain. Luckily, my period is over with now. Started on Tuesday and ended yesterday. I'm so glad mine are short. They used to be extremely long and heavy when I was a young teen, but now they are short and sweet ( if you can periods sweet ).
