Here's a test.

The way I make gifs is by cutting the video so that I get only the part I want to animate. It'd be like a couple secs ranging from 2-5 secs. Then I'd convert that piece to avi. Open it with Ulead Gif Animator and then edit the frames however I want. It also has an optimizer so you can change the quality to reduce the size.

I don't know if this helps, but I generally find it easier to just use photoshop or ulead gif animator for photo editing and gif making. It's also much faster and you get better quality. Websites tend to put their logo/mark on the photo.

Annie Clark aka St. Vincent Annie Erin Clark (born September 28, 1982), better known by her stage name St. Vincent, is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She began her music career as a member of The Polyphonic Spree and was also part of Sufjan Stevens' touring band before forming her own band in 2006. Clark currently resides in Manhattan. Her debut album was Marry Me (2007), and was followed by Actor (2009). Her third album, Strange Mercy, was released on September 13, 2011. On September 10, 2012, she released a collaborative album with David Byrne titled Love This Giant. Her fourth, self-titled album, St. Vincent, was released in the U.S. on February 25, 2014.
