"...but it's Newton who holds the most vivid memories: "He had already photographed me, and I was thrilled to work with him again. He was incredibly kind and cool, but also very strict. The other girls hated him because he made you sweat. In the evening, after working with him all day, I was exhausted but happy, because I had given him everything he wanted, and for me, that was the most important thing. I had a sense of discipline that I still have today, a quality that sets you apart from those who don't possess it.
