  1. That white dress is so stunning, and I love her make up choice. I like the purple jumpsuit itself, but not a fan of how she styled it. Loose waves with fresh make up would have looked better I think. She looked great in the rest of her Cannes looks, imo.

  2. Ingrid from the model search just requested to follow me on IG, so I guess someone is trying to build up their fanbase from the SI followers. I wonder if this will be a voting situation again- they narrow it down to 5-10 girls and then have fans vote for the finalists.

Madison Edwards? I can't see her in Tay's IG story, so I'm trying to guess (and I hope it's her :chicken:

No, definitely not. She was a plus model.

  4. Actually it's becoming more and more difficult to make money from YouTube, at least off ad revenue("Adpocolypse"). Sponsorships are the way most get paid now, and considering Alexandria won't even tag the brands that book her, I find it unlikely she goes down that route.

I agree that it's a decent way for her to build a fan base, but it might also be risky for her to create her brand as a vlogger. Brands might view her as more of an "influencer" rather than a model, especially if she's still interested in booking HF work. :idk: I still think Alexandria is a beautiful girl with so much potential, but it's hard for me to stay interested in a model when it seems like she never works. I find it really strange that that brands wouldn't book her- she's gorgeous and perfect for work like Revolve, Free People, FLAL to build up her portfolio and status. (And maybe she is working, but her work is damn near impossible to find.) Yes, rehashing this again.

    That Youtube career tho...

I was actually going to comment on that today... I was trying to find new work from her this afternoon, and nada. She did Macy's catalog but they cut her head off.

  6. I saw it last week, and enjoyed it. I think I actually preferred the 1st one to the sequel, but it was still good. The last half of the movie was surprisingly emotional, and really well done. I felt like they forced some of the humour? There were definitely places I was genuinely laughing but there were a couple jokes that seemed awkwardly places, or at least didn't work for me. Mostly from Drax. I loved the callback to the original Guardian team in the credit scenes. It would be amazing to see Michelle Yeoh given a more expanded role.

Solid & Striped taps some famous faces to design their own suit. Get ready to join #swimteam2018

While summer '17 has barely gotten started, Solid & Striped is already giving us reason to look forward to summer '18 even more. The cult swim brand, launched by Isaac Ross in 2014, is announcing a cool new collaboration with not one, not two, but 13 faces.

Josephine Skriver, Carolyn Murphy, Elsa Hosk, Lily Aldridge, Eniko Mihalik, Jourdan Dunn, Natasha Poly, Barbara Palvin, Toni Garrn, Isabeli Fontana, Jessica Hart, Hannah Fergusson and Hailey Clauson have all been tapped by the label to design their own bathing suit. All 13 suits will come together as a capsule collection called "Swim Team" launching early 2018.
