Good on her! She's behaving like the supermodel that she is. Actually, she been behaving like this all year long. When she worked with Donna Karan for that charity project and got the DK campaign later on, I suspected that she'd either get a Prada or Miu Miu campaign after she did that Prada book (which of course involved Miuccia Prada). The campaign is so lovely! Bette and Adriana together is driving me crazy! I love them both. They stand out from the crowd! Bette is the obvious star of the campaign but her and Adriana stand out because they're the only brunette and red head. Plus I think Bette's the only model featured more than Adriana. One of the best campaigns this season really.

But unless they start using Adriana for only the events and not campaigns, I think it's more about people buying the things they see on her than getting events fullAbout Karlie, she's one of my favorite young models, but she really really is a turn off to me for VS. VS did say they use the girls based on the people's reaction to the products they're selling. I've always thought Adriana sold as many lingerie as Heidi and Gisele. I think the only thing that held her back was the language barrier. She was working as hard as Gisele. Gisele only worked more than her in interviews and stuff like that. They could've concentrared on KK when Gisele left as her English is good, but they didn't. Business.Candice looks good in everything my foot. She has an amazing body and all. She's everywhere because I'm sure she sells the products, but mainly because their money's on her as the next big thing. They want to make her happen, and now! Look at the VS show viewing party, she sure isn't selling anything there but she's in 90% of the pictures. She doesn't have the effect as Adriana (or KK or Heidi etc etc) Like come on, that ship has sailed. This is her 5th show and they're still introducing her... The older girls never need that. I agree that Adriana doesn't look as perfect as she used to, but isn't that how it works when you're getting older? Also, Kate needs to never do VS again :yuckky:

I want Adriana to leave too, not because she's been there for almost 13 years and can't offer anything new to the brand (like please, it's modeling, not rocket science, as long as you still look beautiful and can sell products, why not?) But because the show sucks now, the catalog pics don't look as good as they used to, the angel rooster sucks. She needs to leave this hot mess. About the Angels' relevance to the brand, lets just say without them, they'll be just like H&M When Adriana and Alessandra retire, they should just forget about the whole Angel thing and just hire random models for promo work like they're doing with Pink because people won't give the new girls a second look. Nothing can convince me now that the angels aren't a very important part of the brand. People know them and I believe people pay more attention to models they know and recognize when they open the VS catalog or visit the website. Chanel was trending at twitter because people noticed that she wasn't at the show. Adriana was trending even before the show started, in anticipation that she'll be there. So yea, I think the girls play a part in customer behavior And the show did go downhill when Gisele left, but not necessarily because she left. I think after 2005, the novelty of supermodels walking in their undies on TV became less and less fascinating as the years went by. Ratings went down immensely in the 2006 show. So they came up with the stupid idea of having the girls dancing on the runway, sending kisses to the audience, and flirting with the performers. And it worked, they had more people watch the 2007 show as ratings soared and it continued. Gisele just happened to be gone before they came up with that idea, thank God. What matters most to them is the number of people that watch the show.

Most commercial projects are beautiful, and that's where it stops. They're not interesting as high fashion. Her pantene and oral-b pictures look the same to me. But pretty sure they pay her well so it's cool

Alessandra Ambrosio slays ! I knew she worked a lot but I definitely didn't know girl was doing all that! Actions speak louder than words indeed. Respect! You forgot Visionaire tbh. The beauty of her work I can see how people would think Miranda is putting the other girls to shame. That's her PR team at work I just googled her campaign for Manjo and learnt that she replaced Kate Moss, and it was made sure everyone knew about it of which I don't think it a bad idea because it's work, not personal attention seeking. Adriana replaced Megan Fox as the face of Metrocity. She didn't bother advertising an unreleased campaign. And tbh, Doutzen's work can be mentioned too! Look at Candice's work in a year! The editing was just terrible. They had a month for editing while in previous years it was 3 weeks.You'd think it'd be perfect with all the time they had. There were moments where you see a girl about to exit the runway, and then you see her in the middle of the runway again.

VS is a business first. It isn't keeping Adriana around paying her more than the others because they like her. She's still up there because she makes people buy their products probably more than the other girls. And she does it without the help of the paparazzi and fabricated articles. Candice is VS' go-to girl because she sells them panties, not because she brings press. Attention whoring is not the job bb, the job is how well you can sell a product. The Kate comparison isn't even valid. You see paparazzi pictures of Kate like once every 2-3 months and there are barely any articles about her personal life. Moving on... I watched this year's 'tell me you love me' commercial and I couldn't help but see the similarity between this year's and 2005's. 2005's had Gisele strutting up and down a room, this year's had Candice doing the strutting . I thought using the same lines was bad enough. but trying to copy that Gisele walk too? (which btw was terribly executed imo) Candice better come through
