i think that whoever ends up playing frank will probably lip-synch. martin mentioned in an interview that no one could compete with frank, so he'd just have the actor lip-synch the movie i agree that that would be a little weird, but there are ways to film around that (camera angles, etc). and also, frank had a huge life outside of singing, so it's not like the actor would be on stage singing for a huge portion of the movie, you know?

i'm asking out of genuine curiosity here...why would you feel secondhand embarrassment over leo playing sinatra?

i was counting on you for exactly this answer, oh my god. i noticed that she wears a lot of rings too and i had a feeling that this rumor would start eventually because of it. the one she's wearing in that first picture looks pretty identical to the one that people are calling the "engagement ring". it's a shame that she can't even express herself with her usual style without becoming the target of the media's rumor mill also i'm going to use this opportunity to say that i wish i had hands like hers wow, they're so dainty and cute! though i have to admit, it'd be really nice to see leo finally settling down, especially with erin. i think they're so good for each other tbh!

of everyone mentioned on that list, leo is BY FAR the most qualified, both on paper and physically speaking. he and frank have similar faces (and, as was mentioned, similar smiles) so it would be a match. plus, leo could easily embody frank's cool air and the way he carried and conducted himself. and with scorsese, leo will naturally be his first choice, because if i'm not mistaken, they've both been circling this film, no? i really hope things get moving with this project, i'd like to see leo officially attached to it. but, on a semi-related note, i really hope The Irishman is what marty choses to do after Wolf. imagine if leo gets a role in that...bobby, joe, and leo together under scorsese's direction...i would cry with happiness for DAYS. and marty has been talking about getting leo and bobby together, so there's a perfect opportunity!!

oh my god my heart was in my throat about that being the wolf set. i did think it was strange that he would direct in that white lab coat, haha so thrilled over that gatsby still, though. leo and carey are going to make a stunning on screen couple ;~;

From Star Magazine, print edition] http://www.celebitch...omment-11872068 i have to admit that i believe this, but i think the women leo dates know what they're getting involved in when they commit to maintaining an intimate relationship with him. like it's been mentioned dozens of times before, leo is a fiercely private person and he makes a very conscious and calculated effort to keep his personal affairs private. katchitup hit the nail on the head when she mentioned how everyone makes it seem like he rules over his girlfriends and how they conduct themselves with an iron fist. i don't think he's like that at all. if you love someone, you'll accomodate to their desires to the best of your ability. it seems like erin sincerely loves leo, so why wouldn't she want to respect his wishes to keep private things private? he doesn't keep her on a tight leash like the article implies, because if he did, i know that erin would probably get out of the relationship. she doesn't strike me as the type to surrender her freedom to a significant other, she's way above that. she understands that he likes his privacy and she honors his wishes to keep their relationship under the radar. i see no problem with that. and also, leo has some italian blood in him. speaking from personal experience, italians (especially traditional ones) are very private about their personal dealings, so leo's constant shying away from the spotlight doesn't surprise me in the slightest. that's my two cents, anyways
