a little news about the eventual DVD release for The Wolf Of Wall Street! as it stands now, there are no deleted scenes/extended cuts planned. but plenty of extras! hopefully bloopers, behind the scenes stuff, and maybe even a ~making of~ documentary of some sort, like Marty had for The King of Comedy!

Leo scored a Golden Globe nomination for best lead in a comedy and Wolf scored a nomination for best comedy film. Two nominations is better than none, I guess!

i had a feeling Wolf would miss out on the SAG awards. considering how late the screenings were/not all the voting members saw it, the snubs aren't surprising. if it misses out tomorrow during the golden globe nominations, though, that's a genuine, bonafide snub

whatever the soundtrack ends up being, it will be amazing. the movie is three hours long, i wouldn't be surprised if it's a double-disc feature like the casino soundtrack. if scorsese is known for anything outside of his stellar direction, it's his immaculate taste in music. no one knows how to pair a song with a scene better than he does. i'm sooooo excited for the OST, i'm glad it's only (hopefully) a week away from release!

not too keen on that shade Kris is throwing at Scorsese, as if it was his fault the film wasn't done on time. if the MPAA didn't serve up an NC-17 rating right off the bat, the film would have been in the can in time for screeners to have been made for people. if anyone is to blame for it being finished so late, it's the MPAA, not Scorsese. and even more than that, they had to deal with Hurricane Sandy during the production, that was another huge delay as well (an unavoidable one, if i may add). people are so quick to pass blame without considering what they're doing. ridiculous.

i'm so so so so so so glad to hear all the praise leo is getting in this type of role. i really do feel like this film might end up being leo's best effort to date. i'm so excited omfg

Jonah's interview on GMA was so short, barely five minutes long! they only asked about his prosthetic teeth and what it was like working with Leo and Marty, which he only really touched on briefly. he mentioned they have great collaborative chemistry, which is awesome to hear hopefully the next interview Jonah does, they ask him about some of the funnier on set experiences, like getting punched or seeing Leo get sick from that sushi haha
