  1. Could be either Carmen or Lauren Santo Domingo for #3. Looks like the photo was taken by Maciek Kobielski. One website identifies it as a photo from May 2009 Vogue Paris issue, but both Lauren and Carmen seem to be in issues for other months. Cannot find that #3 photo in a set.

I'll leave you with the links though:

  2. Strange, I just browsed through this thread of hers and I really don't remember her earlier work. However, when I saw her name credited in several shows on style.com I thought to myself: finally the girl is getting recognition. Like as I knew she's not a newcomer?

Anyway, thank you for the updates and even though I don't follow high fashion modelling as enthusiastically as I used to, Natalia will definitely be one of the girls whose work I'll try to be up to date with.

  3. GRADUATED :chicken:

I passed my gymnasium’s finals and I got into my university of choice and best of all I DON”T EVER HAVE TO DO MATH AGAIN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE BLESS EVERYTHING what is happening aaah

:ddr: :ddr: :ddr: :ddr: :ddr: :ddr: :ddr:

  4. Reading these posts ^^ made me think of all the wrong reasons women decide to have children :banghead: like that girl, who isn't even 30 yet but got pregnant 'on purpose' with some loser cause she was afraid ~time is running out~ and the baby daddy wouldn't even acknowledge that this is HIS baby. And such scenario was predictable from the beginning on.

  5. I'm afraid I'm having anorexia,my stomach isn't accepting more than 4 or 5 little bites in no more than 2 meals a day.I'm always slim and care for what I eat but often when I want to eat alot,I eat,I don't have problems with any amount of food. But now and after being used to eat little,my stomach can't accept any much bigger amount,an expert told me that he's afraid that my body is used now to so small amounts of food and that is serious problem,he asked me to try to eat more but also I couldn't.

I'm sorry but have you ever had anorexia? To me it doesn't sound like anorexia, at least not to me but it looks like having serious stomach problems. Or maybe check if you have ulcers? Ok, that sounded bad but I remember a girl at my school had some problems and it turned out she had ulcers/or was aboutt o have them/ and for some time she only could eat bread and drink yoghurt :/

  6. Sign me up when it comes to "Blue Valentine", need to watch it soon.

And I like "Silver Linings Playbook" book but still haven't seen the movie.

The last movie I saw was "Mr. and Mrs. Smith"... it was just ok. It seems to me that everytime there's a film on tv with Jolie it involves lots of shooting :p

  7. "He's just not that into you"

I liked it a lot and well, got to admit so many situations from this movie feel like something from my friends/family's life which is somehow strange if you think about it.

&it was nice to see Natasha Leggero having a cameo there

    "Wymyk" ("Courage")

A very good drama.... worth watching, too bad the sound editing sucked.

  8. I forgot 2, but those were tv movies :cain:

    "Lies in plain sight"

    just ok

    "The little match makers"

AWFUL. The kids were okay, but Jacleen Haber was so annoying, and her character as well. Valente Rodriguez was even worse.

  9. Ok guys, be prepared cause this is gonna be a long post.

<ok, no one cares, but as to see how good my memory is I wrote down the movies I've seen in the last few months... hope I didn't forget anything>

    "This means war"

Tom Hardy is that short? I mean, when he had scenes with Reese, he looked taller next to her than Chris Pine (such a basic actor). I wouldn't watch the whole movie if not for Chelsea Handler, really. Kinda meh, like 5/10 meh. And I didn't like the ending.

    "Intouchables"

Everyone who saw this movie recommends it, and now I can do the same. A must-see, definitely!

    "The Descendants"

I don't know if Clooney's performance was really Oscar-worthy but let's be real, films nominated last year were kind of weak, when compared to previous years. Still, I think it was good and I liked the dynamic between Shailene Woodley and George.

    "Moneyball"

Not that I knew anything about the story and that coach before but I ended up being more interested in this movie than I thought. Pitt was good and Phillip Seymour Hoffman didn't disappoint, as always.

    "A separation"

Last year's Academy Awards Best Foreign Film from Iran, well-deserved award.

    Little Rose

Magdalena Boczarska  stunning performances by Andrzej Seweryn and Robert Wieckiewicz (why does he always play such assholes? :p ) very touching and shows part of history

    "The Artist"

Adorable! Couldn't stop smiling while watching it. Really sweet.

    "Forgetting Sarah Marshall"

Mila  Russell Brand kind of played himself, non? I also liked the ending. Entertaining film.

"How to lose a guy in 10 days"

A light rom-com, even better than I thought it would be. And Kate Hudson in that yellow dress

    "Dirty Dancing"

I want 'I carried a watermelon' t-shirt! I watched it for the first time a couple of years ago and didn't like it, don't know why. I enjoyed it a lot now and liked the ending, too.

    "You, me and Dupree"

I thought the movie would go in a different direction but it served its purpose as a comedy. "Fix You" in one of the scenes felt so random though.

    Leur morale... et la notre

I didn't know the cliche about French people being mean :p Oh well, it was a comedy and it made me laugh, I found the film funny.

    "Drive"

Disappointed... I guess it's the kind of movie you either like a lot or not. It was kinda weird, the music was good but I didn't see any chemistry between Carey Mulligan and Ryan Gosling's characters. Carey was miscast anyway :/

"We need to talk about Kevin"

    Disturbing...

    "Little Miss Sunshine"

Don't know why it took me so long to finally watch it, I liked it a lot. Although I'm not sure if Alan Arkin's performance was really worth the Oscar...

    "Fight Club"

Kind of strange but I'm glad I watched it.

    "Och Karol 2"

Of course the original was better, but this one wasn't as bad as I expected, even though the main character is played by one of the most used actor in Polish cinematography recently... it feels like 90% of bigger films have Adamczyk, so annoying.

    "Foster"

I like movies with Toni Collette. This one was very... warm? Don't know how to explain it better. Uplifting, maybe.

"A Cinderella Story: Once upon a song"

So cliche  Lucy Hale was ok.

    "Love wedding marriage"

If you find Kellan Lutz to be as good or even better than others from the cast then well... Jessica Szohr was the worst. Nice Marta Żmuda Trzebiatowska cameo even if it was so lcihe.

    "Slightly single in LA"

The only reason I watched it was Lacey Chabert. Haha, she had a little "Mean Girls" reunion in it! (with Jonathan Bennett) Jenna Dewan looked good.

    "Troll 2"

    "The Iron Lady"

The film itself felt kind of... tv :ninja: but Meryl always delivers.

    "Knocked-up"

This kind of humour shouldn't have made me laugh but it did. The movie felt a bit too long at times.

    "Casablanca"

Classic. What more is there to say?

    "To kill a mockingbird"

Another classic and I'm not surprised Gregory Peck liked this film of his the most. That 8-minute long speech at court was done in one take, what an actor. Not surprising he had the Oscar for playing Atticus.

    "Mystic River"

Every actor gave such a great performance. One of my favourites in terms of acting.

    "Bittermoon"

I wonder how it was like shooting this film, especially for Emmanuelle Seignier.... Such a weird movie. Kristin Scott Thomas

    "Carnage"

    Very good cast.

I also saw "Crazy Stupid Love" but I see I have mentioned it in one of the earlier posts.

  10. I'm so happy I visit this thread from time to time, otherwise I'd be late with these modelling news.

I didn't know Kendra Spears has a BA in Sociology, good for her. I don't see her modelling much more then, and not only because her fiancee is Muslim... if he's so rich she can 'sleep on money' as we say here, for the rest of her life.

And about the ceremony-I lol everytime I think of this tfs thread on Anja's wedding from two years ago, about why she had a crown on her head and if she's Polish she ~MUST be Catholic so why did she decide to marry Sasha in an orthodox church. Lmao AS IF she ever mentioned her religion (she didn't; being Polish and Catholic is such a quickly drawn assumption though) and based on her ealrier interviews anyone with more than 2 brain cells should guess that her family's not too religious. Or not at all.

What about Selezneva? "My man is supposed to be young, gorgeous, strong, rich, smart and Russian"-did her dreams come true? :D

oh and about other model marriage news, Magdalena Frackowiak is about to marry her fiancee, but they've been together froa bout 2 years now so it's not surprising. But surprising to Cult Icon, he's not an old man :p (Magda's fiancee that is)

  11. Very very tired

@Laiyla & La Parisienne I think I am going to go with Coach but I am leaving my country hopefully before the end of the year so I don't know If i can get myself in a contract =/I have until Monday to decide what I'm going to do ... And this would be my first time working in clothing brands.

Wow, then I guess you must have made a great impression with your CV!

Well, if you can end your contract earlier :shifty: then don't worry about what to do if you leave Venezuela.
