Oh I never really rely on what on lookers who don't know celebrities have to say about them It's just that nothing about Blake in terms of appearance has really spoken to me (except for her killer killer killer legs), I just never found her to be all that special.. but I think she can look really cute sometimes. It's possible that her massively annoying Gossip girl character has made me a little bias against her haha just kidding! although serena is damn annoying... but that's obviously no fault of blake's. I think blake's fashion sense is so hit or miss, never just in the middle..but most of the time I adore what she wears. She's one of those girls who knows what works on her, usually models are naturals at that (perfect example Rosie) but actresses...are generally not so good at that, but Blake excels!!! Like I said before though I do love how everyone seems to be drawn to her personality (designer wise...etc) it's charming to see. One thing I will say though, and this is not to criticize her...it's just my opinion. I kind of get turned off by the fact that she dated Leo and then literally turned around and dated Ryan... I mean her relationship with Leo seemed so fan girl-ish you know? I'll say she's MUCH cuter with ryan because hell, he actually seems to be INTO her and not just looking for his next fling, unlike Leo (as much as I love that man...c'mon) but I think i'd respect her a little more if she didn't feel compelled to absolutely have a bf, or a famous one. But that's just me. I hope no one took what I said with offense...

No...I don't expect VS events to be "thrilling" but I expect that when supermodels have their pictures taken, they make you want to generally look at them. The pictures from yesterdays events were lifeless. Not just because they were in black but there was none of that genuine energy that adriana brings to pictures. I think the old models use to bring the same type of energy, they were so eccentric you could tell even in pictures, not even getting into videos. But think about tyra..heidi...karolina. So much life that it came across even in photographs. Candice and Erin...it was just flat. Once again its not a matter of not liking Candice, I happen to like her for most things. That said, Candice being the best of new angels is true but its hardly a compliment. Yes she's better than Erin, Lily, Lindsay, and Behati. She is easily better, but hell I think it does her an injustice for even being compared to them in means of establishing why she's worthy. For me, the old and "real" wave of angels will end with adriana and ale, I do love doutzen as well. And as sexy as candice is I don't think she'll match up to what being a VS angel once was. It has less to do with her appearance and more to do with her personality. And about "give her time", we have given her time. She's been the "new" vs star for years now. She opened the show last year. How much more time does she need? Adriana was taking over at her age..personality established.

And honestly, given the photos from this event (even if you're a Candice or Erin fan, must be admitted...they are BLAND) do you guys really think they wouldn't use Adriana for no reason what so ever? in one of their BIGGEST markets (nyc)? Really?! I'm not saying everyone has to agree with me or any of that nonsense, but good god... would VS settle with this by choice? :yuckky: Not even that, but Adriana always does the New York events. Always. It was like her thing. Yeah, surely! I think most of us knew that the NY stop was the one must-do stop for Dri (assuming she could, and wasn't showing) and of course Miami was convenient, it being her home. But i'm just saying!
