I wouldn't be suprised if it was the second one. The last time we saw adriana and valentina in public together, was when she had taken her to the park and when they were leavings paps were taking pics and Adriana looked really upset....or maybe it was just a bad pic. She didn't look happy though, It kinda looked like she was yelling at them and every since that day we haven't seen valentina with her(just hanging out and doing things in public). And that was in late 2011

^ I would maybe believe that "it's not her thing" if we're just talking about in recent years. But in earlier years she seemed to go to a lot more events and I think the MET was right up her alley, but still...never happened. guess we'll never really know. I'm really curious about why Adriana has never gone to the MET. All we can do is speculate, but why do you guys think this is? She didn't even go in her younger years before she was married. I can't bring myself to believe she just has never "wanted" to go. She seems to be into art & film. It's not like there would be a lack of people she knows. I just don't understand, why not even ONE time. Someone there that she wants to avoid? ( I really doubt this can be it) or does she not want to go to an event with that much press? Even though she has been to the ESPYs and seems very comfortable doing all kinds of things (superbowl related projects) just curious what you guys think

I guess I still don't really understand what you're saying. Should Adriana be exempt from criticism? I would think the somewhat 'universal' ideal within fashion/critiquing models bodies would be that they're thin. Granted, some people- some people in Adriana's thread especially, like when models have more meat on their body (which is fine). But I would think models being an average model-thin is more important than their curves (in the context of my original post... which was relating adriana's body to other fashion models). --And my sentences are meant to address you saying Ale is naturally more thin but doesn't have curves and etc. You're right, but I just think 'skinny' is more valued within fashion than curves. I understand that it varies... some people might care more for curves and a more 'womanly' body, but if we're talking about why people don't criticize Ale as much. Maybe that's part of the reason (that most people care more for the waist/weight- and they're mostly women) Ale's body doesn't seem to fluctuate as much as Adriana's. I personally don't like Kate Upton's body, I can understand that it would be inappropriate to go to her thread and remark about it as someone who is not a fan of her in any way, shape, or form but if someone asked me why I wasn't a fan of Kate Upton's... citing that I don't like her body type isn't wrong. With Adriana- I really just don't get it, if there are recent pictures of her uploaded, in which she's in a bikini at the beach... I don't understand how as a fan, my saying her body doesn't compare to the bodies of other models is wrong? or 'bitching' And with the 2013 show, I think it's a matter of opinion whether someone thinks she should have walked the runway or not. And thinking she looked out of shape on the runway is ok too. The fact that she had a baby one month prior to the show is fine, but if you're going to wear lingerie that bares your entire stomach... people will and are allowed to state their opinion on it. If it does seem that way, I would agree with TKC that Adriana is probably one of the few models that the mainstream public knows of. If they critique her body it's because they care to. I feel like people on here think that people go out of their way to hate on Adriana especially and only. Look at Karlie, most people in Adriana's thread comment constantly in the VS thread and in general that she's way too thin-etc. We don't all always have to agree but IMO it's ridiculous to be in arms about Adriana's body getting analyzed (whether heavily or not) when all other models who are worth knowing face the same type of criticism. Just because Kate and Adriana might get picked on or called out for not being in shape in terms of people thinking they sometimes carry too much weight- doesn't mean the opposite doesn't also exist with girls being commented on for being underweight. I personally think that if it's done in an appropriate way where you're not demeaning them or putting them down, it's fair and expected within the industry.

how many different vs swim outfits/lingerie/panties+bras do you guys think she must have modeled by now? She always has more pictures out than any other model within vs (and I can understand why) but it just hurts my head to think about how many outfits she's probably had to be in and out of. I'm sure some of the colors are just photoshopped/changed , but still

Love the pics from Waggon. Bikini body wise, I don't think Adriana has had a spectacular body in a really long time now. She looks back in shape but IMO it's not really anything special (in comparison to other models that is) We're seeing so much of Adriana lately, what did we do to deserve it? It's like a treat. Hopefully it doesn't stop. I also don't really think there's anything wrong with Sienna.

Why ''lol'' ? Marko Jaric can't be mentioned without Adriana Lima. He is especially irrelevant now that he's not in the NBA. And the years in which he was, he was nothing special. Point being she is far more successful in her career than he is (was) in his, and far better known.

Is something wrong with Sienna that Adriana's worried people on the internet might be cruel to her? Does she have down-syndrome or something (nothing wrong with being disabled. I worked many years at the biggest state run facility in California that cared for the needs of of people with developmental disabilities, and I also have two cousins with down-syndrome, so don't jump my ass people) If something isn't wrong with the little girl, and there's no shame on Adriana's end and momma-bear isn't trying to protect her from the harsh reality of the world, then Adriana is seriously over protective on a neurotic level (they have meds for that). Show us your precious daughter already. If she's disabled that doesn't take away from her beauty, that makes her more special and amazing. I've wondered about why we haven't seen her either. I don't think it's that Adriana is over protective, so I have really no explanation. Didn't she have a feature in a magazine when Valentina was born? It seems drastic to go from doing that to not showing her to the public at all. Who knows.

Why does doutzen have to know she has a personal instagram? And even if she did, why would she necessarily share that information given that Adriana wants to keep it private? I haven't been keeping up, someone fill me in on why is Adriana going to Baku?
