The reason for these local offices is mostly a remnant from before the internet where connectivity was an issue and people needed to use the fax. Surely there are local contacts that might have a better understanding of the local market and the connections/network to make introductions, but at this point EVERYONE knows the name Adriana Lima. It's the reason why she booked work when she represented herself. The client just reaches out directly to her. So if Vogue US really wanted to book her, they'd have no issue reaching out to Elite Paris/Milano. But if she had a local contact with a network at US Vogue then it might be easier. The reason to have an agency based in the US is because she lives here and they would speak English. As a result, it would probably be easier to coordinate her work schedules and communicate with the rest of her agencies. The issue with some of these agencies when it comes to older models is that they get lazy and don't actively try to book them on new/interesting projects and instead rely on inbound calls for work. Think about it, are you going to try and hustle for an established model in her 40s with a high pay grade or a new model starting out who needs to make a name for herself? Agencies seem more relevant for contract/campaign work since it can involve more complex contracts/legal issues, but I think the big benefit of a large agency is that they can negotiate model packages with clients. Have you seen when models from a single agency do a campaign or are all multi-cover stars (think DNA models all on the cover of D)? It's because the agency finds it easier to manage booking them all at once. This can make it easier for models to get jobs as part of a bundle deal. TLDR: an agency is certainly beneficial, but if the client really wanted to book the talent they will reach out.

Technically it will probably air in November so I'd say she needs a November cover more than an October one. I'm guessing she'll have the VSFS be her "debut" if you will.

A contact I have at a Brazilian magazine just mentioned that Adriana is reaching out trying to secure a cover associated with her VS runway return . . . Unclear whether she has a new agency, but my contact made it seem like she was proactively trying to make it happen.

Some upcoming jobs: -Vizzano campaign (brazilian shoe brand): Ale shot this in Sao Paulo at the end of April shot by Lufre and styled by Rita Lazzarotti and hair/makeup by Henrique Martins. I'm upset this isn't a Vogue Brazil cover, but I'm happy it's with the Vogue Brazil team. I can't understand why she hasn't had a cover in so long, I think the new EIC doesn't like her which is sad because you can't deny she's a Brazilian icon. https://www.instagram.com/p/C6Xi1GXIxnt/?img_index=1 -GNP Summer campaign: Ale still has a contract with the brand, she shot this in LA in mid-April alongside Candice. Shot by Morelli Brothers, styled by Marc Eram, hair by Frankie Foye, and makeup by Georgi Sandev. -Vogue Portugal (her 20th Vogue cover). She's shooting right now with Elio Nogeira (he previously shot her for Numero Russia and Bazaar Vietnam and he LOVES her) in the Azores, styled by Loizos Sofokleous, hair by Vasco Freitas, and makeup by Jessica Carvalho. Rumors: -George Cortina styled Ale for the Omega event in Milan and this is really strange because George doesn't really do red carpet styling. If he does, he's never worked with Ale in that capacity before. Ale started following him before Coachella so I'm hopeful they shot together and she asked him to style her for the Omega event. -She will for sure attend Cannes this year, but I'm hopeful she walks for Carine's amfar show again. -She typically gets one Mexican magazine cover a year sponsored by her GNP contract (Vogue Mexico in 2021, Bazaar Mexico in 2022, and Vogue Mexico in 2023) so I have a feeling we'll see her again in Bazaar this year.

2024 SI Swimsuit - (how big will the shitshow be this year?)
Jesus Christ what is this casting?! 90% of these women do not know what to do with their face, it's all so painfully amateurish. And there is ABSOLUTELY NO NEED for them to fly half way across the world to take the most mediocre photos that could have been done at your local community pool.

Does anybody have a link to HQ versions of the Angels Across America Tour? A lot of the older links seem to be dead.
