Not that we know of. I really doubt that she would ever.
  4. Agreed for anyone who doubts the possibilities of photo manipulation:
  5. Well, then maybe you should purchase the books.

well I was really really like nervous when we got to the line right in front of her table...I was like shaking and also nervous that they might yell and confiscate my camera. which resulted in many blurry pictures. I got there at 11:45ish, but when I spoke to some of the sales associates they said Adriana had gotten there an hour before to do interviews and photos and then she changed to signed the autographs. I don't think I'd want to even try to top 14 hours

oh no I meant not heavy individual men, but heavy security as in a lot of security guards hehe some of them were big men though

Thanks, but I definitely don't consider myself to be any sort of Adriana expert. This is just my humble opinion. It's not just the issue that the model in the photo is in a graphic pose. It's that that is not a Victoria's Secret picture. Victoria's Secret photography is relatively consistent (you can't help but notice if you're as big a VS shopper as I am), especially since they pretty much use Russell James for all the lingerie photography. They always have the models faces featured in the shot; even in back views they have the model turning around or at least her profile is visible enough to recognize who it is. The only times the face is not visible is if they're showing different panty styles, and then they just show the panty, like belly to mid-thigh and not the whole body like it is being shown in that picture. I have the catalogs from 1999-present and I've never seen that picture or any lingerie like it featured.

Well I think another reason they had heavier-than-normal security is because of the jewels, like the 11 carat diamond ring. thanks for all the pics

how long did you wait for, guest? I wanted to get there really early but had to search for a parking spot for about an hour so by the time we got there the line was already really long. I think we waited like 30 mins.

well they didn't let us talk but basically I brought a Vogue Brazil (She's on the cover in red and she's got her hands over her ears and it looks like she's screaming) along in the hopes that I could get it autographed (mean security guard said no and gave me major attitude when I was like "the lady downstairs said it would be ok...") but of course I wasn't allowed to approach her table or anything and I got the standard autographed glossy instead. but as she was handing the picture over to another security guard who then handed it to me (she's allowed zero contact with fans, I guess) I was like "Adriana! I'm such a fan!" and held up the magazine and she was like "oh..thank you!" with this really sweet and like happy expression on her face and then a security guard began to rush me away. you see him in that 2nd pic of mine and his hand is coming up to like pull me along. All in all it was certainly a good experience but I would have enjoyed it more if 1) I had been able to get my magazine autographed instead of getting attitude from a fat middle aged man who thinks a suit and an earpiece make him godlike 2) the security guards were not nasty (not all of them, of course but some of them were really mean to me and that's what I remember) and 3) If I had been able to tell her how much I love all her work instead of being rushed along also I wish I had been more bold and just taken pictures.

she could be wearing a wig, so don't base it on hair color alone, but I'm of the opinion that it is not Adriana judging from the body.

well not a lot of people know Adriana's name...maybe her face but probably like "that Victoria's Secret chick" on the other hand, who DOESN'T know Paris Hilton's name at this point... you know? It's all based on how well known the person is first.

Actually that was not the same group. The women who interrupted Gisele's walk were from PETA who were protesting Gisele's modeling of mink furs hence the signs "Gisele: Fur scum" The feminist groups or the "concerned mothers" groups think that the VS shows and catalogs are promoting sex and lustful behavior among men and corrupting their children as well. I don't think they mean to target any specific model, but the company in general. They call the fashion shows porn and claim their children get confused by it, etc. It's like after Janet Jackson's breast incident when parents said their children were traumatized by her breast and couldn't function normally.....

well that's one reason certain groups were protesting like VS shows and stuff, but the protestors that got the NY stop cancelled and harrassed the people at the LA stop were environmentalists (hence the brandishing of chainsaws outside the VS in NYC. I was there.). they run Victoria's Dirty Secret. They say that VS is killing precious forests because they mail out a million+ catalogs each day and the average person on a mailing list receives 1 catalog every 2 weeks. I think saving the environment is important, of course, but I don't agree with this particular groups methods... <_< and of COURSE Christian I would bring a video camera and do what you asked in addition to my little speech.

    Awesome! Thanks Aelora

well last time I got there 2 hours early and the protesters showed up about an hour after me and they got it cancelled I don't think getting there early has anything to do with anything. <_< I'm hoping they won't know about this one because it hasn't been publicized as much All I really want is to be able to say "You've been my favorite model for years and I'm a big fan of all your work and endeavours." I'm not going to say I wouldn't be happy to get Adriana's autograph and maybe a picture of her though
  23. I think Laetitia's too busy being a mom I love Marisa though...she's really just a totally different type of model...different face, different body type, different personality, you know?
  24. Gorgeous Looks like Russell James's work, no?
