Do you think Ellen von Unwerth shot the campaign? I know for sure Silviu Tolu (the main Guess male model) posted the same location on the same day as Alexandria did and he usually shoots with Ellen.

I'm curious: do Guess models do a lot of promo (store openings, interviews etc.) or it depends on the model's agency? Alexandria's campaign hasn't even been out yet and she's already been interviewed by GQ. I know she had that casting at GQ so it's not that random. I'm just wondering whether she'll do public appearances for Guess in the future.

For me, Blanca and Irina would have been perfect; both stunning brunettes and have a basic knowledge of English. As much as I love Kate G, I find her lack of English a bit bothersome. Of course, she'll learn it eventually but I feel like it's a bit too soon to make her an Angel. Blanca and Irina would have brought an air of elegance to VS; a lot (if not most) of the new girls are all very girl-next-door which is not bad but not very eclectic either. I hope at least VS will continue working with them both.

Yeah, that's the only interview I found. I'm sure she has some knowledge in English otherwise how would she get so many bookings. I guess we'll have to wait. I imagine for the time being they're going to use her mostly for catalogue and commercials. Like Clauds said in the VS thread, unless she takes some intensive English courses, I don't see her doing interviews anytime soon.

Yeah, with the situation in Crimea, impending sanctions on Russia and every idiot in US war camp calling Putin a 'thug', 'Hitler'. They didnt dare call any of the Soviet leaders that. Business is business. VS doesn't give a shit about Crimea, just like McDonalds didn't give a shit about China's labour prisoners or Tibet when they opened in the 1990s.

I hope they keep the same prices, but I know that Euro is a bit stronger than dollars or pounds, and I hope here in Italy are not such ass**** to increase the prices just because it's Victoria's Secret. xD I just know the EU is going to tax the shit out of VS. In England, a simple T-shirt bra costs 55 pounds ( 76 US $) as opposed to 40 bucks in the US.

If I were VS, I would definitely push to open in Russia. They LOVE VS there and now with Kate G on board, they could do great promo there.

Can they really crack those markets, especially Italy? In Italy, it's gonna be pretty hard. Calzedonia and Intimissimi are pretty big there and Italians tend to stick to their own brands, same as the French (Etam, Undiz). Does anybody know what the VS sales are in Europe? Or any reports I could find.

Her father is Uzbek and her mother is Tatar Russian. Tatars are also Turkic. I found it funny how many people on the VS instagram said she didn't look Russian. One went as far as saying that Irina was Latina and she changed her name to be more appealing to VS.
