Im thinking, Shanina and Kelly Gale have a similar exotic look. So maybe the Vs people decided to give Kelly a try, since she's never done the show, and to let Shanina skip in for one year, since she's already been twice?. Idk, just trying to think like VS, but there could be another reason which we don't know of.

And my favorite- the mixed beauty look, like shanina Shaik, and this new girl, Kelly Gale (gorgeous!), so really, shouldn't complain about any lack. Could be/it's been worse. VS is certainly opening more in recent years towards diverse girls/

Last time I checked most of the SI girls were all those things except skinny, because you know ... Not everyone in the world is skinny, some of us women actually do have butts and boobs. And most of SI girls look way better in lingerie/swimsuits than most of the girls in the lineup. I never said Ed & Monica would make Kate or Jessica walk, I know it's very unlikely what I did say is that I think they should walk because they would add some much needed diversity, I'm pretty sure all the girls walking are probably a B cup at best and a Small size in the butt too so I don't see exactly how is that supposed to be diverse. Cut the heads and put all their bodies next to each other and you won't see that much difference, that's what I'm referring to. It doesn't have to necessarily be Kate Upton or Jessica Gomes, they were just two of the examples of what I think VS should be adding. And for you to say that they will "break the runway" is just plain dumb honestly. Actually that's kinda what I got out of your statement too. No, they will probably never walk for VS, but you were quite condescending to the idea of any model having curves, because models are "skinny, gorgeous, tall and slender." High fashion models fit that bill, but VS borders between HF and Commercial modeling, the latter being what SI caters to. So why wouldn't their models be appropriate for the VS runway? They're still models, they make great lingerie models for the most part. But VS has lost almost any idea of what a commercial model is and keeps sliding further and further into the realm of HF. It's becoming like a HF circus, and honestly when it loses even the semblance of having commercial models I will quite probably stop watching, until then the downward spiral is mildly entertaining. The fans, more so. If you're taling about Karlie, Anja Rubik and other tall super skinny girls that have started to be VS regulars, then NO, I'm certainly not happy with their bodies and their bodies ONLY. But then again think about what VS models were in late 90s, early 2000 and think about them now- of course there is a drastic change in weight. Today's girls are skinnier. But also compare the SI girls of the 90s and early 2000s with todays. Elle Macpherson is tall and slender, but she is not KAte Upton. Paulina Porizkova is tall and slender but she is not Jessica Gomez. so my linking of a model is just that: in the middle between the 2 extreme ends, may they be the names of Karlie Kloss and Kate Upton, just to give you example. Those are the kind of models that I wanna see in VSFs, and majority of the girls are such. So, what';s the problem?

That really sucks. I was hoping for stg more elaborate, especially since "Birds of Paradise" sounds exotic, I was really hoping for some grand props and such.

Yes, because they are all models. You know, models are skinny, gorgeous, tall and slender. What do you want, some big asses and boobs jumping up and down while the girls walk? VS is the border between skinny high fashion and shorter, fuller, swim models, and I think they find the balance between the two borders just fine. If there were no standards, you and me would be walking, but we are not are we?? There is enough diversity in body types, models are supposed to be slim and slender and tall and gorgeous, yet they have enough girls who don't fit that type,. yet are VS models (angels), no need to mention names. If you think VS lacks different body sizes, maybe you should be watching a different kind of show? not the VSFS. Edit: and Jessica Gomez and Kate? Are you serious? You want them to break the runway or what?

There is a difference between a household name and a supermodel. Supermodels were always household names, but household names are not necessarily supermodels. Example: Adriana lima is a household name within the US, because of VS. Naomi Campbell is supermodel and a household name around the world. So is Gisele. And I'm not even gonna waste one more second trying to convince you on that, trust me. If you don't get it, can't help you sir.

Why is she not in? She is good because she had a different look. She resembles no other VS model.

I don't think models get paid to walk the Vsfs. Afterrall, its supposed to be a prestigious job which gives tons of exposure. Girls fight for every spot like its the Olympics, its a matter of life and death for some. Its not as prestigious as it used to be, but competition gets tougher with each passing year. I'm sure models get no money for it though.

Barbara Palvin fans are batshit crazy. Like I have no problem with One D for example but I HATE their fans for this very reason. They terrorize everyone away from social media or fanboards much like neurotic Palvin fans. Some people are so miserable with themselves they put their idols on such a high and dehuminizing pedestal that anytime something negative is even implied about their idol they take it as a personal attack and react accordingly. Its scary and psycho and baffling. It needs to stop.
