Do you guys care about the game on Saturday? I don't and I feel like FIFA should cancel such matches, who cares who gets the 3rd and 4th position? Even Van Gaal said it's pointless and such a game shouldn't be played. I also feel like the teams won't be even motivated to get 3rd place, they both (Brazil and Holland) wanted to reach the final, so what's the point?

Oh no, it won't change my life at all and I am quite enjoying the discussion here every day except for your posts which come off quite sensless at times. I'm not saying Argentina has been the best team so far, i truly think Colombia was by far the best team until they got screwed, i said all along that Colombia was the most deserving team overall but once you take into consideration JUST the final four, I think Germany & Argentina were the best two. While Argentina hasn't shown their besr habilities, Holland doesn't deserve shit either. They had ONE good game and it was against Spain (a team that played so bad the whole WC that i'm not even sure it counts that much btw), after that they rode their luck all the way to the semi-finals, they failed to score last night and against CR too, and the only reason they passed Mexico was because Robben is a crying baby and managed to get a last second penalty, not because they were actually better than Mexico. At least Argentina fairly won all their matches. I can say this for lots of footballers but not about Robben in that particular case. There was a penalty and everyone who isn't blindly biased saw it. Too bad you and many others on the net were so pissed off that Holland made it through, they still can't sleep at night because of the well deserved penalty. Your insomnia may continue though if Germany wins

Tired of reading how Argentina, Colombia, or God knows which other SOUTH American team "deserves" this or that. European teams didn't perform very well either at this WC but at least Germany and Holland have been pretty consistent for the past 20 years or so in football. With the exception of Chile, most SA teams have been a huge disappointment, in terms of referee's support, cannibals and all that. Sad for Holland, they should have played better and won. I guess it's not their time yet. Moscow 2018 maybe? I hope Messi and his friends get defeated badly on Sunday. The win in 1978 was all fixed and Im not gonna even talk about this in details, all I hope is they lose.

I absolutely admire the behavior of the German payers on the field. No signs of arrogance or whatsoever. Most teams would have acted very arrogantly with the other team, but Germans stayed calm which truly speaks of their class.

The closing stages were insanely gripping, although in truth the first 80 minutes bordered on mind-numbing. Holland played similarly to the way they did against Mexico and relied on a slice of luck at the end, but Van Gaal's gamble in the shoot-out paid off, thus deserving the plaudits. The romantics out there will shed a tear for Costa Rica, who were just a couple of penalties away from becoming the biggest outsiders to ever reach a semi-final. Thanks! So the Dutch won by penalties? Was it at least an interesting match to watch?? I am so pissed off because from now on all matches are late I simply can't stay up to watch and I miss all the good games. Last night, Argentina's won wasn't impressive. One goal in the 8th minute and that was it. And the Dutch must have played very well but I didn't watch. Happy to see the European team advance, maybe we'll have a Euro final?

^^totally agree. they seem to only take action AFTER what has happened. but the unfair judging and the resulting injuries stay long after the game is over.
