Out of Anne's interview: What notes did Christopher Nolan give you when you first got the part, with the fighting aspects of her? Anne Hathaway: When I had got the part, Chris had called me into his office and said, “OK, so, there’s going to be a lot of fighting. When we did ‘Inception,’ Joseph Gordon-Levitt got in really good shape, Joe went to the gym for months. So that way when we did his fight sequences, he did all of his own fighting….I really liked that.” (Laughs) So I went, “Gotcha, I’m reading between the lines here.” And I just went to the gym and I came out when we wrapped (laughs). It was a complete transformation, I’d never done anything like that because it wasn’t just about looking a certain way. I had to learn to fight, I had to become strong enough to be able to fight for many days at a time. That was something I felt very lucky about, because I feel like in a situation like this….I don’t know what other actresses have gone through, but I feel like sometimes there’s a mandate that comes to you, an ideal of how you have to look. The way I was always treated on this movie was from the point of: learn how to do what you need to do, then however you look, that’s the way the character looks. I just felt, as a woman, very protective in that way.

The Scoop: Bradley Cooper visits the Berkshires Hollywood hunk Bradley Cooper has landed in the Berkshires. People maggie’s reigning Sexiest Man Alive will return to the stage to appear in “The Elephant Man” at the Williamstown Theatre Festival July 25 to Aug. 5. Book your seats ASAP! So far, BCoop has been spotted around the bucolic Berkshire town by the locals, checking out the Williams College campus and posing for photos when asked by fans. Last week, he spoke at a press conference alongside his co-star, veteran actress Patricia Clarkson, at the Williams Inn. “WTF is Utopia. The play runs for just so many performances — not six months. You focus and it’s done. I love that,” he told the crowd, iBerkshires.com reported. “I did a Broadway play and it was wonderful but brutal. I love Williamstown — the college campus. ... You have your little routine, and I’m staying in the same place I did three years ago.” By the way, don’t fret that Bradley’s marvy mug will be covered up with prosthetics in order to play the Elephant Man. The publicity and attention VS gets a model is great ofcourse and some of their models I think are absolutely lovely, but to be honest, VS means to me: - Horrible photoshopping to make fake what isn't yet - A few nice things a year but most of the time extremely boring pics (model in front of plain background) - Exclusion from some campaigns - Transformation from normal girl to scary sixpack with weird, floppy, pushed-up boobs - Transformation from normal girl to stupidly giggling awkwardly flirting shallow thingy in front of the camera I know there are girls that are exceptions and fit very we'll and elegant into it, but personally I don't understand what all the fuzz is about, especially nowadays. Bar has simply a way to worse runway walk and too short legs to fit in VS, but I have to say I myself am delighted she's doing a lot of different work and other projects like acting instead of VS [ ok, ok, overly discussed and chewed out rant over now /]
