I knew not to expect it because 1. Adriana is taking her retirement differently, people called it depressing when she retired so I think thats probably she feels herself as well. 2. Alessandra didn't even go, she wouldn't miss out on that PR lol. Alessandra watched it from home as well. But are we actually sure they are having a viewing party?? Because it seems VS hasn't been able to afford alot. Like they didn't even do their yearly ALL model photocall before the show. Only Adriana got a photocall, by herself lol at the empire state building.

I am speculating it because she looked very sad at the show through out the whole time. As I said before the way she looked the way she did when she got a divorce

I agree, especially since its clear Adriana took this retirement hard. I think thats why she didn't want to talk about it. I do think its hard for her, its for everybody even Ed was crying. So ofcourse for Adriana it is hard. But, I hope she does mention her goodbye show because they let her leave being called the greatest angel. And Like I said before, they did Adriana a FAVOR. This is a blessing in disguise, because VS is honestly not just doing well right now. Its good they gently let Adriana go before it got TOO bad, literally after she left their CEO resigned. She doesn't have to be apart of whatever they have to do. If she was still there the changes probably wouldn't have worked in her favor and that was nice of Taylor. All the messages by VS crew were nice

I woudldn't say she prefers that, because like I said, Alessandra as well was not at the viewing party neither. However, I hope she actually acknowledges the show on tomorrow. I really hope she said that because she was still so sad (she did look it) not because she is in this weird funk about VS. Its not going to look good on her part after this that she continues to not acknowledge the show at all. Ya'll complaining about VS posting her closer to the show, when Adriana hasn't posted anything about the show at all. I mean, atleast VS seems to be giving her a big and great goodbye. She seems to not want to even mention it at all since she retire, so I hope this behavior is done out of shock and sadness. And that she is feeling better, otherwise, she is just asking for drama to be made up

As I said before, he doesn’t act genuine like she does. And ofcourse her feelings are real, even in her ig story of them he was acting like an awkward teenager. Aw thanks, guys. After what happened to Alessandra I do have trust issues on VS and their tributes lol. I just hope everything goes as planned. That Adriana still closed and that her segment doesn't somehow get scratched lol. You never know with the editing. But I will say that, last year the show was aired quickly after it happened. This time around, they are taking just as much time as they usually do to edit it, so maybe the editing will be way better this year.

Exactly, I actually pray that I am wrong. I try to bite my tongue more because atleast as a model Adriana is still carrying on. Her fans don't need to like who she dates, we are just truly concerned for her is what it is. But like you said, what can we do. Just gotta continue to hope the best for her But back to other things, I would not hold my breath on her being at the viewing party. Simply because like you all think it would be special and right for Adriana to be at the viewing party, it would have Alessandra as well last year. And I am SO sure Alessandra would want to have been there last year but she watched the show from home. So I really do think its probably the same for Adriana. Also wanted to mention, it broke my heart hearing ED tear up in the road to runway video at the show rehearsals. I don't think I ever seen him get so emotional over anyone leaving. But you could always tell since day 1 Adriana was like their child and Ed did say thats what his relationship was like with the angels. He saw them as like his daughters.

I am really trying hard to not talk crap about him but the dude is just SO disingenuous. And it makes no sense how many people feel this way. Never has this many fans feared for her being with this guy. And we have been fearful of the others in the past, and look how it turned out. I mean even the people closest to her don't seem to be a fan of him, so its not just outsiders. I am trying really hard not to bash this dude because I ain't trying to have Adriana and him in that "Us against the world" shit no more, because nobody is against Adriana just her choice of man lol. He makes it so hard to not talk badly about him though. Its insane ANYBODY would think that Adriana is with a "gold digger" because its Adriana, ANY man would be lucky to have her regardless of who she is lol. Even if she was poor, any man would be lucky. But every thing this guy does make you raise your eyebrow even in her IG story. Like, I always found majority of his posts about and of Adriana to be weird/creepy because alot of them are clearly taken when she is not even looking. They aren't normal. They literally looks like paparazzi shots or something. And like we always said, its as if he is just advertising the fact that he is with this woman. Notice how ANYTIME Adriana posts about him, its a picture or video of them TOGETHER. You know, because thats normal. Thats what people genuinely in a relationship do. Its never just of him, and its damn sure not some creepy photo of him. She does what somebody who is actually inlove and dating someone do, which is post them together alot. Dude rarely does it, and he especially doesn't these days. When he posted a pic of them together in that helicopter, it was a REPOST from her. And then them as bunnies but thats it. Everything else is just her or her with his family. I just find it funny the most genuine one in the relationship, the one who is blindly in love, is the one being normal about it and not acting like... I don't even know what to call that lol. Personally, I don't think he is being genuine when he acts as if he is obsessed with her, its something to make her feel good because clearly for years thats all she has been wanting and clearly just to show off for attention. Too bad the good things Adriana feels from this, is coming from someone who everybody gets bad vibes from. Too bad Adriana is the type to be blindly in love she is with someone who literally makes a living off of manipulation. NOT saying his job itself is bad, I know he works with sick people but since he is supposed to be "teaching" about the "mind", he is showing people how to manipulate a situation in their favor. I don't think so, not exactly lol. If anything that seems she is TRYING to be positive and nice. Its probably correlated with how people think she is too good for him or something. I hope she didn't post that because thats how HE feels (that she is too much/good for him). It would not be the first time she did that for him. I mean, while people think its true, him being insecure himself is not good. This isn't the first time she posted a message like that for him. And as I said before, its obvious he is not a secure person, you can see by the little things he does, he isn't. And the fact that she posts quotes about love aimed at someone who is insecure... Smh, thats not good. I hope she knows its not a good sign and its important to have someone who is secure and who doesn't care what others say so much. Thats the reason why she is so censored herself now, she is with somebody who cares too much about what others say. The bad signs are shown to Adriana multiple times and she still brushes them off. In real life being in a relationship with someone who is so insecure about it is "trouble" but Adriana probably doesn't see it as trouble. About the viewing party, I honestly don't think models who are done with VS are meant to be there, I feel like Alessandra would have been there last year if she could

When they were on that yacht together he wasn't fat. But he has gained weight, and it was when she also gained weight. Thats what was annoying. Adriana has been into and great with fitness majority of her later years, but its clear this is the first guy she dated who isn't really into that. SOMETIMES he goes to the gym with her. YES, she did also gain weight with Joe but Joe was still a trainer. And I guess it doesn't matter that she is with someone who isn't into fitness, but it was just annoying to see for a brief period she was influenced by that. I am just glad she got herself back into it. Thank god for her puma contract, she has no choice but to keep up in the gym lol. Also, I don't think he is in miami anymore anyway. But thats only probably because soon one of them has to work. I wonder if she will go to the VS viewing party? I know ya'll expect her to because she didn't go to their after party BUT Alessandra didn't go to the viewing party last year. Which makes sense because after the show, thats when they are done being an angel. So, I don't think she will be at the viewing party. Because really she isn't an angel anymore. Like Alessandra, there is no need for her to be there. And also its hard to place how Adriana really feels about her retirement. Like I said before, she seemed to take it VERY hard. I hope she atleast posts about this years show one more time, especially since it is her LAST.

Taylor's talent though, I thinks thats where she lacks too much. She depends on her beauty alot. I know people said the same about Adriana in her HIGH FASHION work. But for VS and commercial, Adriana brought it! Taylor...not so much. Like Candice and others are way better than her at their job. Taylor only comes close to Adriana in terms of having a beautiful face. But nobody finds her sexy because she doesn't have that look and her opening this year? Honestly the worst they ever had. Adriana would never give VS the worst SHOW opening. Even when she walks regular, its still a good strut. The closest is Candice actually. Her face isn't seen as beautiful as Adriana's or taylor's. However her walk is good to alot of people, she looks good generally. She does have alot of sex appeal. She is surely the closest. Taylor is missing too much flavor lol. But its like what @Corner said, Adriana still isn't 100 percent matched. For me the reason why Candice doesn't match Adriana exactly is because of her personality, she is on the more shy and takes herself more serious side. And one of the best things about Adriana for people is that she ACTED like a girl next door and a regular person, like you said taylor does, but she didn't look girl next door. Adriana has beauty that alot of people feel is uncommon but she acts like a normal person and is more extroverted. People love that too. Taylor is kind of like that but Candice isn't. She is more "chill" I guess, I think her appeal is still more superficial and about her look than anything else. She isn't like Gisele, Adriana, or Tyra who are clearly out there when it comes to their personalities. Its alot though about Adriana that makes her unique, thats why I said she is the only angel today that can make people give a damn THIS much about a VS model retiring because she had more than the look. She the talent that made people want to copy her, the personality that people enjoyed, and she set GOALS while in the brand. When people care about you mostly for superficial reasons, they will only care so much about something like this. Adriana had more than a superficial appeal, so people care more.

Just like everybody else basically lol. But its crazy how stunned I am by these girls on IG and then I see regular photos of them and they truly do look like regular girls. Like the Cindy Kimberly girl, she looks amazing on her IG photos but every candid of her she looks normal. Adriana has the opposite affect, speaking of, I wonder which version they are going to post of her goodbye segment. I saw the one where she didn't cry, I was still in awe of how pretty she looked.

And NATURAL. People like to put models like Bella hadid on her level. But 1. Bella still doesn't have that appeal to me, work done and all. I still don't find her as beautiful. 2. Models like Adriana looked the way they did from day ONE. Adriana specifically, yes, she was seriously the most beautiful model I had ever seen for a long time.

I know right! Thats the funny part, Adriana leaving has been made a huge deal. The fact that even the rock paid respect to her for this, shows how big it is. You wouldn't think its lingerie modelling. Because not only are people making a huge deal out of it but everybody understands. NOBODY is saying "wtf its just bras and panties", everybody understands why this is a big thing. Everybody understands why its emotional for alot of people. Its the principle and what Adriana managed to do which is stay in a field for 20 years, where most people only last 5 or 10-15 years in. Not 20 lol. And she did it despite her getting older, despite having kids, and the ups and downs in her life. She still manage to stick around AND be just as loved as she was when she first started. Like people didn't lose interest in her for the brand. What she did with her VS career was very unique and probably won't ever be done again, and thats why everyone understand its a huge deal. Despite this "just being lingerie modelling", Lol only Adriana could make it deeper than that. Only she could make people take this seriously

@nhlovesadri yeah we are going to be emotional messes on Sunday alright, remember when this video alone had everybody emotional. It wasn't even a goodbye video or included ALL of her VS career (because this was in 2016). Imagine how we are going to be for this year

I just want ADRIANA to know what she is doing and to be careful and to not let him take advantage of her or manipulate her in any kind of way and to not let him have any kind of power of her career or what she does with it or how she feels about it. She has had her career for many years before him, she doesn't need him for it at all. Hell, I don't think she even needs him personally because in my opinion I don't see much progress since she lost confidence and she doesn't seem that happy right now. But all these people that have been telling her how much they respect her career as a model and as a person is because of Adriana herself. She is the reason why she is seen as an icon and why people loved her as a person. It came from who she was from 1999-2017. She has to remember that and know that and therefore carry on as that and to not let him invade that part of her life in any kind of way. Because I don't care who he is supposed to be, Adriana was already this huge star and a good person before she met him for a reason. As much as people praised her these past two weeks you'd think her confidence would be restored. But I guess having to leave VS mentally is a process and I understand that completely. The sad part is, you can't tell her that obviously. I just think its ironic that he is supposed to be such a healer and so magical when its obvious Adriana is having one of her toughest years right now. Thats why I said only Adriana can help herself, I hope she realizes it. Because I don't see how he is supposed to be who he is, and Adriana has lost her confidence since she has met him and become more insecure. I noticed that when she made that essay about people's comments on an ig post, this: This post correlates with her being more censored on social media and such. But the thing is Adriana has been dealing with social media and people comments since 2014. She has been dealing with this industry since the 90s. But she just made the choice to say that, this year. Its ironic she does that when she is dating a guy who is insecure himself when it comes to comments and social media. That is why Metin is ALWAYS checking his comments, liking the good ones and blocking people who don't make good ones. Because he is insecure himself when it comes to people's comments on there. And as always when Adriana dates someone they rub off on her terribly, and his insecure ways has rubbed off on her. And so I am sure that is the reason why her confidence has taken this hit (along with her getting older) and now all of a sudden she cares that much about what people say on social media. Because her boyfriend does. And now, she is censored. But like I said, its obvious Adriana doesn't see it that way. She is still with him and all that. Like I said, at this point, I can only PRAY and hope things continue to get better and she truly finds herself again. Even if she thinks she has found herself, I doubt it with how less confident she has been all year. Her best years as a model and imo as a person, were before him for a reason. I KNOW I don't know her personally but like I said, she does not look happy right now. And she had alot of slip ups this year in relation to fitness, and her modelling career was affected. She has had much better years and ironically they were before him. So as I said, I hope she realizes this before its too late. Don't get me wrong I still think she is a good person with a good heart, but I feel that this year wasn't one of her best because of certain choices
