I actually hope Adriana doesn't post about that show because candice did and got some HEAT. She had to turn off her comments. It does make the model look super supportive, I doubt Adriana was made aware of what was going on with alexander. She doesn't need more hate thrown on her especially as a pregnant woman. Atleast if she doesn't post it wouldn't seem like she doesn't care

    she looks great and happy
  4. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's post in a topic in Adriana Lima
agreed, alex dropped the ball with the design of the outfit. It just wasn’t a good outfit. But thats not her fault and I honestly so more people impressed that she had abs withstanding pregnancy.
  5. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's post in a topic in Adriana Lima
If she posts hopefully it will be the video because her stomach looks more normal and less abs in motion. Like she isn’t even getting hate on tiktok because it looks different in motion

I didn’t know about the alexander thing but alll the models are getting heat for it. I don’t think that will do anything though. People who are real fans praised her or liked it. Or people aware of the industry who know she always had abs were praising her. Thats all that matters. Society is regressing, it sadly make sense some people were so ignorant to be critical. But like I said, this is probably why adriana usually don’t work during pregnancy. Some people think its taboo seeing a belly, like even with rihanna. Even when adriana did the pirelli pregnant half of the people did complain. People can be assholes about it especially today. But I am proud of adriana for doing what she wants. If she wants to work, let her work. Its good for her anyway

lol Oh I didn’t even bother going under posts like that for a particular reason. Thats not a fashion blog you know. But you did have people defending her.

I find the reaction mixed. Not everybody was mean outside of the turkish people That being said, I do think it tells you how terrible society and people have gotten. They are comfortable bashing a pregnant woman even when she isn't pregnant. Sometimes I think this is why Adriana disappears during pregnancy. I admire her effort but I completely understand if she disappeared until after she gives birth. People are dumb On twitter the only heat I see her getting is walking the show and alexander is apparently some "abuser" On twitter all I am seeing are people say she looks good for 40 years old tbh lol. And some are actually impressed she has her abs. Luckily I am not seeing those brutal comments
  9. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's post in a topic in Adriana Lima
    1. The dailymail always having hating comments . These are the same people who are racist and hate meghan markle. They are nobody to impress lol 2. People in turkey accusing her of things are also ALWAYS assholes hating But from what I see, the reactions from people in the US, more people are actually impressed that she clearly still has her abs while pregnant. Adriana's abs always been that shape and form clearly its just extending and I have seen positive tweets. People saying she looks so young for 40 years old and then people saying she still got her abs while pregnant while others don't have none. And there are some people who think she has rectus distasis which is a MEDICAL condition from pregnancy. Thats not hate, just a rational explanation. But honestly she has been getting positive comments from the right people. I am happy that Adriana is productive and still working. Girl is serious about not wanting to retire and I am glad she is doing things thats gonna help her career

Thats a nice photo Yeah people are dumb for trying to criticize adriana knowing she is pregnant. Its just stupid. Those people are stupid That being said, I am glad and happy to see she isn't letting this pregnancy hold her back and is letting herself work more

I'm glad to see them all look so happy

Her outtakes are an aspiring model's dream. She always has good outtakes, I like the one on the right
  13. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's post in a topic in Adriana Lima
Yeah it was literally painful for people for Adriana to not be there lol. And yes, that is kim but only because it was a funny meme I could relate to lmao. Do you see on twitter, she is trending again over some controversial bad thing, which is why part of me isn't mad Adriana missed the ad
  14. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's post in a topic in Adriana Lima
I am CONFLICTED on Adriana not being apart of the skims. I honestly only would have wanted her apart of it, because its supposed to be about the original and iconic angels. And honestly, you can't talk about iconic VS angels without talking about Adriana. So it sucks to see such a monumental angel left out. But of course, we all know Adriana doesn't work while she is pregnant, and she is showing so it makes sense that Kim couldn't let her be in it. Buttt at the same time, its a Kardashian brand. Those people suck. And a part of me is glad that Adriana can still say she was never employed by them for something. I want a VS reunion like this, and I want Adriana to be apart of it, BUT not for Kim Kardashian's brand. It is totally not just us who want Adriana to post some photo:
  15. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's post in a topic in Adriana Lima
Its so foolish. I don't get it. Everybody was looking for her in that new SKIMS campaign, and who knows if Kim had the confidence to ask Adriana to also be in it (she didn't ask Gisele) but people are surely assuming Adriana wasn't thought of for that campaign with the other older generation of VS angels because she doesn't model anymore. It was meant to be iconic so not having the most iconic angel VS had in it makes people think things. They wouldn't think these things if Adriana just showed she was pregnant on her feed. Even the one photo of her while at the balmain show did not show that was pregnant really. They could have chosen many other pics of her with her belly. Its like she is working hard to avoid posting it there, and it can be damaging for her career. Now that she is pregnant, she more than likely won't be modelling or post anymore on her feed, so thats gonna help make people really think she no longer does it. Which will make things even harder for her I don't understand why she won't make atleast ONE post about it to set the record straight, its self sabotaging

This is why Adriana should have just announced on instagram, where she has the most followers that she is pregnant. Alot of people clearly don't realize the reason she probably wasn't asked to shoot this, everybody keeps asking this because they aren't aware All you seeing are people wondering how she isn't there. Instagram is literally her biggest platform, not seeing why she wouldn't tell people on that app. Now people are surely gonna think she is retired now. This is exactly why we said what we did. At this point, Adriana is to blame for people thinking she stopped working after Victoria's Secret. She doesn't do enough to show that she still works. Like she will get a cover for a magazine, and ONLY post that cover on her feed. She doesn't post the editorials at all on her feed, thats more work to show but she decides not to. She doesn't do enough to show she has a passion/interest for modelling. She doesn't even use her platform to keep people in the loop about her pregnancy. Adriana's lack of activity on her social media makes people less aware. THIS IS WHY people think she is retired and no longer models really. She needs to use social media to keep people in the loop, obviously its easy to assume about her career when things like this happens. The least she could have done is told people she is pregnant on her instagram, so that they wouldn't assume she stopped working for 9 months because she is retired.
  17. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's post in a topic in Adriana Lima
Its important for MODELING though. Like its literally essential to her job and getting booked. I wouldn't care if her career and relevance didn't also depend on it. And like others have been saying Adriana clearly complains about people thinking she is retired and all of that, people would remember she still likes to model if she actually posted about modelling more
  18. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's post in a topic in Adriana Lima
Yeah she acts like its so hard to adapt and post her work through out the years. Its the easiest thing. And I agree complaining isn’t going to help her, but using her socials and all the modeling work she has done over the years will. Its not even hard to post that stuff. It literally takes just 3 damn clicks on your phone. Its incredibly odd. Its like social media is the only aspect of her career she doesn’t understand. Even though it is actually the easiest part.
  19. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's post in a topic in Adriana Lima
She always did that when she was pregnant. But the thing is she was pregnant in 2009 and 2012. Major changes has happened since then. 1. She is no longer a VS angel, so whenever she does try to come back she does not have something like VS to give her huge PR and remind people of her existence . 2. In 2009 and 2012, social media presence was not important to maintain a modelling career. But now it is, especially for Adriana because she no longer works with a big PR brand like Victoria's Secret. Her comeback is 100% on her own, she is only making it harder on herself and her career to bounce back by neglecting social media posts while pregnant. I just don't understand why her and her team are like this. It is not that hard to just post a random good picture of yourself, it can be old or new lol. It is literally the easiest aspect of her job, the way they neglect her social media they act like its so hard and such a drag. I don't get it
  20. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's post in a topic in Adriana Lima
Right, my point exactly. She hates being taken as a retired model but does not do all that she should to ensure that people realize she isn't retired. She has SO many post from over the year and even this year that can be posted right now... Posting modelling photos on her social media more would 100% remind people of who she is. But she nor her team ever thinks to do this... its like she is still stuck in 2009. You can't just only depend on agencies and events. It does not hurt to post modelling content through out the years, even RETIRED model Yasmeen has started her instagram and has been posting alot of throwbacks and talking about it. Yasmeen is a model from the 90s, and even she sees how interesting it is to post this content. I don't get how everyone except for Adriana realizes how beneficial it is to post like this: https://www.instagram.com/p/CbsViLdlOP_/ All I know is, if Adriana is really gonna go 7 months without being active, she should not complain about people thinking she is retired again. Because she could have easily used her social media to fix that but didn't. It would be her fault people thinks she is retired or disappeared. Especially since she never announced she was pregnant on instagram for some reason. Instagram is her biggest platform. Some people probably still don't realize that she is pregnant because she never posted about it on her instagram. So take her never posting about her pregnancy on instagram + Her refusing to post while pregnant, people will surely think she is retired and disappeared off the face of this earth. Her followers would also go down. None of this is good for her career. If she is going to be like this, she may as well retire

I hope she comes back on social media as well. But I sadly would not surprise if she lets her social media die this entire pregnancy. She has a habit of doing that when pregnant. I think she sees pregnancy as a break, but its 2022. Its not a good idea to not post anything for 7 months. Its gonna make it harder for her to start work again because people will lose interest. Before she got pregnant she kept saying and reminding people "yes I still model", she really going to have to remind people ALOT MORE if she isn't active on her social media for 7 months. Sadly, I don't think Adriana realize that its 2022 and not 2012 anymore. In 2012 social media was not important for modelling careers-so it was okay for her to disappear for months on social media. But in 2022 thats not gonna work and will hurt her chances of a come back, I wish that she was aware of this but sadly she probably is not. Her nor her team appear to be savvy enough to post throwback content of her atleast

Yeah, we always had an idea she didn't have it easy growing up but didn't know the extent of it. But it shows how strong she is. She should write a book one day
  23. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's post in a topic in Adriana Lima
Yeah, Adriana def tries to be more positive about growing up where and how she did. But she always alluded to seeing bad things in her environment, didn't know something THAT traumatic happened right infront of her. But then again, thats def not something you want to brag about. I remember her getting slightly defensive when she was on SWAY radio during the superbowl and he asked if she was from where they filmed city of god, she said no but she grew up in area where the same things were happening. Obviously she was telling the truth and he joked that maybe adriana was the same way and she said "no, I am a LOVER" I hate it seems like she is such a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul but has been through things she shouldn't have to. How she remains having such a vibrant and obviously light spirit after going through that is beyond me. But it does explain how determination when it comes to work and being successful and maybe thats why she was always more reclusive when it came to going back to brazil.

Yeah but you said she "never" went to racing events before. When she worked with the IWC, that was her first time going. Not now. Adriana literally was invited to those recent racing events and was more than likely PAID for it. She didn't go there for her health. She was there with other big named celebs such as Wyclef. She was INVITED and its not her first time being invited to do this because its work related for her. You're acting as if instead of working, she is just in the audience having a good time being seen with Andre. Thats not whats happening, that was a job for her. You're talking as if Adriana went to those things for her health and because Andre liked it. When clearly she was invited to the event and compensated for attending as the other celebs were. She is literally doing her job going to those racing events Also, we don't know enough about Andre to know if he likes racing. He literally goes everywhere she goes. Thats like assuming she attending that balmain show for the first time in years, because of him, because he was around too. Adriana is literally doing a JOB going to these events, he is just always there. Him going to a fashion show, fashion awards show, and the racing things is because she was literally invited and paid to go. She is there because its a job for her.

When she worked with IWC she went to two race/cars events. She also used to be an ambassador for a whole car brand, and was always friends and a supporter of Lewis Hamilton. Its nothing new, Andre is just a tag along.
