Thats confusing, I THINK I may get it. But still this was not worth Adriana's time trying to advocate for-especially since all she got was hate, even from people who look like she did while pregnant on a regular day basis. It wasn't body positive people defending her, it was regular people who have always been fans and stuff. I really hope she stops trying to be apart of that fake wave this year. If those people don't want her advocating for them, F them. She should continue doing whats best for HER. Because the masses don't really care about body positivity anyway, they are very selective with it. Even Rihanna is not viewed the same after she gained weight from pregnancy, it wasn't just Adriana. Thats why I say its not a truly accepted concept or popular opinion I love Adriana but I need for her to wake up this year and realize who she really is. Sometimes I am not sure if she knows. Sometimes I think she can lack self awareness or maybe she is just TOO humble lol. But she's a fucking big deal and big name and should only make moves like a big supermodel would.Especially since its clear she still is passionate about her job and doesn't plan on retiring. All this people give her this shit because of her job, they don't care about her heart. She can still be a good person but also be aware that she is a big supermodel and should be doing what big supermodels do in the modeling industry. Let the people who clearly can not relate to her fend for themselves, they are basically begging her to do so. Since they aren't open to her caring about body positivity because she is a successful supermodel, she should focus on continuing to be a successful supermodel. Like I said, they don't respect THAT kind of humbleness from someone like her because they are too jealous of her. She has a great heart and she should continue to have a great heart, BUT if these people are literally out here saying they don't want her advocacy or pity, do not give it to them, especially not at her own expense

People got mad at THAT?? Smh they just don't like seeing Adriana with weight on her. The whole body positivity thing and inclusiveness is a fake idea. People are literally mad at the VS fashion show coming back because they know its gonna be bigger models and all that. People are def expecting it to flop and have low hopes because they know they won't get the VS models they are used to. IDK who is responsible for giving this false idea that this stuff was accepted by the masses its not. Especially not the modeling industry.

I get what you’re saying but my thing is: clearly the comments affect her seeing as she turned off her comments on her last instagram post. Adriana never did that and the comments weren’t about the fifa but her weight. She is never been that bothered by comments on her appearance like that, which I can imagine because she has never been giving any shit over her looks that much. Even when she would post those post work out photos that weren’t the best, it’s clear the ignorant comments didn’t get to her. Adriana has never turned off her comments for anything but did this time. Since she is clearly affected and impacted by what people are saying I support her doing whatever it is she wants to do to combat that. plus its deeper than her owing “other things”. Adriana’s looks are her job and apart of her brand honestly. Its not like we are talking about a singer or someone whose job isn’t fully relying on her looks. Thats just not the reality. Thats not me defending the hate but thats me saying I see why she clearly has started trying to diet and work out and I support her continuing to do that for her sake because she clearly is bothered by it herself. What model would not be? And with her job, eventually it will be important for her to be in her usual shape. If we was talking about an actress or retired model it would be different. Adriana is clearly still an active model who did not want to retire, she said it herself she did enough jobs last year to prove that. Sorry but adriana was mocked for a whole year about this, they turned mocking her weight gain into a trend, they made her turn off her damn comments, YES I do want her to get the last laugh against those haters. They don’t deserve the satisfaction of making fun of her or making her feel bad about herself. Adriana clearly is already on the road to recovering herself and I am supporting that.

I think in 2012 "the problem" was her admitting exactly how she lost the weight so fast. They was okay with her losing the weight quickly. They just gave her flack for telling her dieting. I disagree with that. I am all for celebs being HONEST about what they have to do in order to look amazing. We all know they don't do what regular people would do, thats why they usually look better than most regular people. I hope Adriana doesn't make the media make her feeling shame for being honest on how she lost weight because the fans actually respect her for it. We don't like to see these models pretending they eat pizza often lol. Even tho, as I said earlier this year, we know Adriana actually does fall off the bandwagon with her diet, which is why her weight shifts like atleast once a year lol. But atleast ALL of it is honest. When she gains weight and its because she been eating bad-she usually states it or atleast shows us the bad food she been eating. AND ALSO when asked about how does she get back in shape, she is ALSO honest about that. And there is nothing wrong with that, nothing. IDC what people say, transparency and honesty is everything and it makes her look better. Nobody likes a lying coward. Doing the most silly things to hide all they do to keep up their looks. Some of her fellow models try to lie/hide people from knowing the measures they really take to look the way they do, and they still get mocked by regular people and fans because they end up getting caught in their lies and deceiving. Good on Adriana for being honest Because Adriana is such an admired beauty and she is a very successful and generally well liked beauty.... that just makes some people mad and they use anything to attack her. Those haters and the media just try to use any excuse to bring her down because they are jealous of who she is-A known beauty who is also wealthy and successful. They use the baby weight to humble her, because she is obviously a world class beauty and been one for MANY years and they know most people love her. There are just miserable haters out there that couldn't wait to be able to say she "hit a wall" "is no longer beautiful" "is fat and aged". Lucky for those haters, Adriana decided to show the full course of her pregnancy for once (instead of being more discreet like she used to be) and they just have a field day with her not being 100% in her model form right now. I really hate to see that because you can tell they aren't trying to give her grace at a;;. As long as she is still an extra 10 pounds than what she usually is, they gonna act like she was never pregnant and that she just gained so much weight for no reason. Thats what gets me, they act like she didn't just have a 3rd child. I can not wait until the day where she is the size she was right before she got pregnant because the haters couldn't say anything then. They will have to suffer in silence like they was before. I agree, I don't understand why her hair keeps getting put up while her face is fuller. It needs to be down. However, she did have on some very flashy earrings and maybe her hair was up to show them. But next time she should just were a nice necklace instead and wear her hair down. Also the makeup artist over contoured her nose. I think some of it is related to the left over baby weight why her nose looked like that, but you can also tell the makeup artist used make up to give it a different shape. I hope next time they leave her perfect nose be lol

Would have been a better idea to have her hair down. But she is def starting to look like herself again. I'd say she only has about 10-15 more pounds to lose, to get back to pre-pregnancy Adriana. Which I don't think should be hard for her to lose. Then again, I don't want to speak too soon because we know during early 2021 she seemed to have lost the motivation. I hope she keeps up with what she is doing now because its working and she made an improvement from her appearance during CR runway! The era of people acting like she just aged and thats why she looked different and making fun of her weight is about to come to an end. Hopefully she keeps up this progress because its amazing to watch her transition from not looking like herself and very different because she was carrying a baby - to starting to pick back up where she left off before the pregnancy Its crazy how pregnancy just temporarily changes her looks. Like she always ends up being the supermodel Adriana that we know after the baby (and of course after she starts working out and stuff)

Agreed, she starting to really look like herself again. It is crazy what changes in weight can do. She only has probably like 10 more pounds to lose (so that people wouldn't accuse her slightly fuller face for fillers)' But in general, she actually looks like herself. you can’t please everyone. ALOT of things in the industry is considered wrong and corrupt to people. Even VS itself because the people who ran brand had associations with Eipstein and the “transphobia”. There will always be people who think this about any organization that is involved in the industry and always complain. If Adriana lived her life thinking about naysayers she not gonna get anywhere. ALOT of celebs would not, thats why most of them do the same thing and ignore people who have their own personal feelings towards an establishment. Honestly, we didn't get a good enough glimpse of her face And after the world cup content, I think social media content is not a good indicator of what she REALLY may look like. The only way to know is to see her in REAL candids, which we have not since the Qatar thing. And that was 2 months ago. Also, she looked better at some world cup events than others. Adriana should be having her hair down, not up when she has more weight on her face. And what they gave her for the CR thing, just was not flattering. Period. When she wore that black dress with the red lips, she looked great. I would hope at this event, it would be like the other events outside of CR, where she was dressed in a way that flattered her appearance. As well as having the right hair and makeup But I honestly do not think Adriana would be showing herself again or making an appearance if there wasn't enough of a change in her look. Sure, I would much rather just see her in actual FASHION like magazine work and stuff like that first. But, Adriana literally went 2 months hiding herself. She would continue to do it if she looked exactly the same as before. We do not know what she has been doing since then. I do not expect for her to look like she did pre-2020 yet. However, that post work out photo she showed, her face actually did look similar to how she looked when she was in the proccess of losing weight for the savage x fenty show, she had gained weight but NOT enough to make fun at all. We at the end of it now. We have to wait and see in real candid photos where she is now in terms of weight tbh. I just hope the hair is down, the makeup is flattering, and what she wears is flattering. I'm low key nervous tho lol. She looked so great at the end of 2021 right before she got pregnant, I would hope she can go back to that version of herself she was aging well and was in her model shape....

Its true, its only been almost 2 months since we have seen her. It just feels like longer than that I guess because she won’t post anything on her feed anymore. Like not even a throwback? My wish for her is to eventually get a real social media manager, cause to not have anything on your feed since 2022 and you got alot of pic and work around is such a missed opportunity

The way people still talk about Adriana, it is very clear she is not out of date lol. She has remained a hot topic thats for sure and she still did good work after VS (mostly prior to Covid 19). She had a baby recently so of course she is getting herself together. But to act as if her career didn’t continue on after VS is a flat out lie, only people who see her as just as VS girl would tell that lie-because they clearly tend to lie about her career The fact that people clearly still talk about adriana while she is taking an obviously needed break shows she is not out of date at all lol

I think it is because no contract last forever. She was with iwc from 2011-2019 for 9 years. Thats enough time to move on and get another brand under the belt. The more diverse the resume and more brands you work with, the better. Especially since she was with iwc for almost 10 years.

After she got a contract with chopard's I am sure. Adriana had a whole campaign with chopard's jewelry mid 2019, they also sell watches. So she couldn't have had both contracts at the same time. Looks like she left one and went directly to another the same year

I agree/hope you are right. Kinda used to her showing when she is working out atleast but maybe because people were so bad like you said, she is just closed off right now. She has reposted her old modeling work here and there on her stories so surely she plans on getting back to that? She's just too iconic to not go out with a BANG in her career Yeah, unfortunately I feel like this was a harsh lesson learned for us all-not just Adriana. She exposed the whole "body positivity" and acceptance isn't real, or atleast does not apply to everyone. At the end of the day, what Adriana usually looks like, is the blue print and number 1 desired look, and honestly will always be. Everyone loves a fit physique. Even models who she is facially prettier than, only still get called hot because they atleast still have fit bodies. Realistically, its never going out of style. Even the kardashians don't want to be thick and curvy anymore. Adriana herself is one of the celebs responsible for being fit/smaller staying in style no matter what because that look suits her best and makes her, her I just hope she isn't somewhere changing her face or something like that. Its her money maker, all she needs to do is reduce weight on it so that we can see her high cheekbones lol. I think her chin area should get better once she loses weight too? She still has pretty features. No telling what she may have to do to her body to be real, having three kids is no joke. Probably why most models of her status don't have that many, and if they do, they are already retired. Thats quit a number. I also hope this is when Adriana starts getting more consistent about her dieting too. I think thats why she can gain so much while pregnant and during covid. Adriana didn't master eating healthy ALL the time and making it her lifestyle like some other models. So its even easier for her to eat more when she pregnant. She would rather crash diet and diet before jobs/specific seasons than making healthy and clean eating an actual lifestyle and something she did the whole year. You can tell before boxing, she was just a naturally skinny woman who didn't have to worry about a diet. So, I think thats why she has not perfected eating clean all the time, its not something she had to do before. I hope thats something else she also works on while on this hiatus, just because I think that would make her life easier as someone who still wants to model and its overall healthier for her, on the inside too

I did not take into account what completely shapeless eyebrows may be on her as a woman who is getting older, but I still think the almighty knew what he was doing when he gave her such eyebrows. And sometimes when I see her eyebrows looking shorter and arched it pains me lol. Because sometimes it doesn't even look right, like back in 2014, whatever she did to them brows made her look less appealing. Its a unique trait not everyone can have straight less shaped eyebrows, but I think regardless of age she is meant to have them, this was her last year with her natural shaped eyebrows she was 40 years old, they still look good on her
