Somebody should have announced something. VS didn't even announce anything.
  4. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
Like we can't even guess why she will be on the show/whats its for at this point because nobody said anything.
  5. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
Her management could have let her fans know this because that IS something they should look out for, but ofcourse not.
  6. probably too many of them. Atleast it def wasn't just her. And I bet she probably would have gotten shit if she didn't speak on anything. She did the right thing, I am sure she knows
  7. And its not even just adriana who these turkish people comments are invading models like Joan smalls getting it too. This shouldn't be nearly as controversial as it is.
  8. wow. oh yeah she is mad but its understandable because it is VERY wrong, its insensitive. People like that giovanni are is just a hater. This is a sad issue, and a serious issue and its sickening others can't treat it as such. Thats what you do. Block because of serious issues
  9. And I think its good that she talks about social issues. I don't think she stop what so over. It shows that she has more substance to her beyond superficial things, not that she NEEDS to. But its good to show those on social media the other half of the reason people like her and if she feels its the right thing to do. Plus, I think that benefits her because she gets support back from those people
  10. she doesn't have to avoid tension, those are just idoits on IG lol. IG is full of commenters like that, I cant even limit it to just turkish people, if it was another country they would say the same. Even in the US

It depends because she treats them the nicest out of most models. She has done things for her fans, I never seen another model do besides Gisele. And hasn't been nasty to them like others. She'd thank them when she didn't need to. I think she does what SHE wants to do and on HER time. Esp if there is a purpose behind it. Sometimes I think she see some of the things fan/haters say and if it upsets her, you know she is gonna react and it ain't gonna be good. The best example is when people picked at her English on twitter, she went an entire month not speaking it. But that doesn't mean who ever the person is on her team shouldn't intervene.I think its ridiculous and disappointing that the cover wasn't posted. I think that is her PR job more than anything. And its honestly stupid like I said, because not only does that clearly lead to people thinking Adriana is like "fuck her fans", not only will that cause her to lose fans, lose impact, and lose appeal. But what the hell will these designers, photographers, and magazines think when Adriana doesn't show her appreciate for the work she is still allowed to get despite being in the business for so long? What will they think? Especially compared to so many other models who "show more appreciation". Like all these models out here, why would somebody even allow for that to happen? People can easily move on to the next model who doesn't mind promoting the work they allowed for them to do and show their appreciation. Its a loss all around and its sad that nobody is realizing that or doesn't care. its ridiculous at this point. Things have changed and time isn't slowing down for Adriana or anybody neither will competition. Its sad that none of this matter to any of them.Esp as a fan myself, I want to see her do well.... But when consequences of this activity shows up, I am not going to feel sorry. You do reap what you sow. Its bad when I am talking like this because I am usually an optimist and clearly I don't talk like this when it comes to her. I've always wanted the best for Adriana because I know she is a good person. Clearly not perfect but is a good person. And so many of her fans realize that she is. But someone also has to do with they have to. Even if she still doesn't like social media, there is supposed to be somebody in her corner that picks up that slack because she like her job right?

Just looking out for her long term happiness lol. This all gonna come into play in the future. Ironically it looks like alot of the social media fans like Joe. Somebody posted those pics and people like him

A cover! If her PR team don't share this they are officially the worst and most useless PR team a celeb could have. Useless. 1. Adriana hasn't posted in a week. 2. It has been so long since she has been on a gq cover, she never shared a GQ cover before. Its not like its something thats already been posted.. This is a big cover. And out of all the models who were apart of the editorial (cara, kendall) adriana was used. Esp being the oldest apart of this editorial. They didn't even POSt the original picture anyway. This wouldn't be a duplication of any sort and I can't even come up with a reason for this to not be shared

Hell I hope that was like a getaway for them. Not him just having the time to tag along. He tags along alot.. what doe he do again?? I am not pressuring her at all to have some top actor because she doesn't need that. Her career never depended on her love interest. Which is the problem here, I hope he atleast have a 9-5 Let me stop lol. Its just worrying that he has so much time on his hands sometimes, esp knowing adriana's nature. Like if he is gonna have this impact on her how she manages herself and her career, I hope he is able to provide just as much for her and her children.

What about Turkey, the plane ride to those locations, from them. Her last V man editorial??? lol. I can't sugar coat this one. Like this really does affect different areas of her life. I hope somebody who she is associated with sees these comments/thoughts/suggestions before these designers and magazines moves on to other models/with by far better PR who have their priorities in better check..Free advice, don't cost her a thing but will help her more, than what she has going on. It shouldn't be like pulling teeth for her work to atleast be posted.

And then he is able to follow her around, which makes it worse. Its understandable when she is at home she doesn't want to post much. But she began to post when she is location/traveling, which is a good/better idea. But Joe is a tag along, which is going to make it worse because when will she stop ignoring social media? Because somebody like her isn't going to stay single forever. Overall, what she does is really annoying and honestly not cool to her fans but its worse when its over a man who she had to give a second chance to. Which is probably another mistake in itself. If she don't want to get on it, can her team do it atleast. like geez lol, they didn't even post her V man magazine stuff that came out last week! This is all so ridiculous, does her team not like social media themselves?PR doesn't even have to be your specialty to see how important it is. I don't understand why they literally skip putting out some of the work she does. I don't care what anybody on here says, there is alot thats wrong with this, from different angles. And more fans are being aware of this and its pissing them off.Thats not something you want to do. Her and tag along joe will be two peas in a pod forreal. Don't let a man like him drive away your career/influence. He isn't even her husband (thats why I never complained about any influence Marko may have had on her career) Does she take those quotes she posts seriously or does she just post them because she likes the way they sound, because... smh.

No telling what she is doing in Istanbul. She's just as big there as here. The opportunities can vary lol I see her liking some stuff too. Ugh. Its just really annoying for me lol because like you said, if he wasn't there. She would have shared a VIEW or some. The contrast is far too damn evident.
  18. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
Yes, seriously. Thats why its annoying Joe be having enough time on his hands to follow her around. Atleast with Marko he was more preoccupied. If adriana stays with Joe her social media will suffer at this rate lol
  19. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
    ooohh okay, thanks!
  20. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
I am going to lie to myself and say THATS why there has been a drought on IG posts lol. But since its secret must be big. And I like that its in Rome because she hasn't done much work there. Thats another country she can win over. She has the US and Turkey, hopefully whatever it is makes Rome be another country that she has so many fans in (although she did ok in the TIM commercials)
  21. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
