Hrithik’s next to be called Kites There has been lots of speculation about Hrithik’s next film with Anurag Basu. Who will be his co-star? What will the title be? Well, we can now answer those two questions. The title of the film is Kites and it will be filmed on location in New Mexico, Las Vegas and Los Angles. Kites will be a bi-lingual film with both Hindi and English dialoges. As for his co-stars, a source close to the project said, “The Roshans and Anurag Basu were looking for someone with a truly international look, but of Indian origin. Since the character in question is a dancer, she must be proficient in Latin-American dance forms like salsa. They have finally zeroed down on Kangana Ranaut and Barbara Mori." Rakesh Roshan confirmed the casting saying, “Yes, we have finally signed (international actress) Barbara Mori and Kangana opposite Hrithik. The film is titled Kites and Rajesh Roshan would be composing the music. The film should start rolling by July end (2008) and should release around June 2009."- Ronaldo Lima
Ronaldo returns to Italy ROME (AFP) - AC Milan forward Ronaldo has returned to Italy following surgery in Paris to repair a ruptured knee tendon. The 31-year-old Brazil international damaged his knee last month in a match against Reggina and flew to the French capital for the surgery. He stayed there for almost four weeks of treatment but touched down in Italy just after midday Tuesday where he was accompanied by his girlfriend Maria Beatriz and Milan scout Leonardo. Ronaldo's long term future in football is in doubt as he is likely to be out until the end of the year and his contract at AC Milan expires in June.- Ronaldo Lima

F1 Star David Coulthard Reveals Underwear Secret To Staying Cool While Racing GRAND Prix Scot David Coulthard has revealed he won't wear anything but Aussie underwear when he's racing by the seat of his pants. And the first thing he did when he arrived in Melbourne for the season-opening Australian Grand Prix was hit the shops - to stock up on 40 pairs of his favourite underpants. Borders-born Coulthard is a big fan of Holeproof Underdaks, the best-selling smalls Down Under. And he admitted at a press conference yesterday: "I've got a bit of Australia wrapped around my nether regions when I do all my grand prix." The veteran Red Bull Racing driver, who turns 37 in two weeks, used to wear a pair of lucky blue pants in his early racing career but they eventually fell apart in the wash. He said: "I always go and stock up at the beginning of every season and buy my underdaks for the season ahead. "They are extremely comfortable and they are the right colour if you are having a moment - because you don't want to be wearing white. "And they are resistant to frequent washing, so they are all good, as far as I am concerned." Holeproof have been best sellers since 1991, under the slogan: "One day you're gonna get caught with your pants down. "So, if you're gonna get caught, make sure it's in Holeproof Underdaks." Coulthard, born in Twynholm, Kircudbrightshire, but now living in Monaco, is in his fourth season with the Red Bull Racing team but is not one of the favourites to win when the season gets under way on Sunday. Despite that, he says he has no plans to quit a sport he still loves, 13 years after taking his first Formula 1 chequered flag in Portugal. He said: "Something you are passionate about, something you enjoy, you don't give yourself a timeline. "So if I could be crude for a moment, sex-for instance - is an enjoyable thing to do. "You don't go, 'I've done it for 10, 12, 14 years, so I think I'll stop doing it now.' "You want to have that pleasure for as long as everything works." Coulthard lies fourth in the all-time Formula 1 points list and is the top Briton. He has won 13 grand prix after beginning his top-level career in 1994.- Jenson Button
BUTTON ENCOURAGED BY 'STEP FORWARD' A fitter-than-ever Jenson Button is ready for the rigours of another demanding Formula One season - even if his car is still not quite up to scratch. Honda, with new team principal Ross Brawn at the helm, have worked exhaustively in recent weeks to ensure Button and team-mate Rubens Barrichello have a competitive car this season. In 2007, the Japanese manufacturing giants were woefully off the pace, taking several steps backwards from how they finished 2006. Early winter tests suggested the new Honda would again struggle at the rear of the grid, although a private test in Jerez last week has offered some cause for optimism. However, both Button and Brawn fully appreciate progress will be slow going over the course of the year as they build towards the 2009 season, and a much stronger challenge then. For now, and starting with Sunday's curtain-raising Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, the best that can be hoped for is a midfield battle. "Jerez was the first time I have got into the car expecting a good step forward and actually got a good step forward," said Button. "So it was a very positive test, but there is still a long way to go before we are competitive at the front of the field. "It is still a step forward, a step in the right direction, and heading into Melbourne I am excited to understand where we will fit in at the first race. "What we have is a very driveable car, which gives us a good basis on which to build. "It still lacks a bit of speed, but we've made improvements at every test in many areas, and I'm confident that this level of development can continue throughout the year." As for Button personally, he could not be better prepared for the new season, adding: "Like all drivers, I've been busy with testing the new car and there's no substitute for that kind of training. "But I've also been working on my fitness away from the track and I'm fitter now than ever before. "I've a new physio in Mike Collier, and we did three training camps together in Lanzarote." Ferrari's former technical guru Brawn, who has attempted to make Honda more closer knit since his arrival at the end of last year, feels it will be the smartest team on the day who will emerge the best of the rest behind his old marque and McLaren. "We were in Jerez by ourselves and we were able to compare our old car and our new car's aero package, and between the two was a good step," assessed Brawn. "We are certainly not going to compete at the front of the field, but the most important thing for me is it was a positive step. "I think there was a substantial performance gain, which is very encouraging, and perhaps it could put us in the midfield. "But in Melbourne we have to do a very good job. The middle of the grid is very tight and lots of people have similar lap times. "Of BMW, Renault, Williams and perhaps Red Bull, the team that does a particularly good job on a weekend will find themselves at the front of that pack. "The team that is not so smart will find themselves at the back of the pack."- Jenson Button
Car still lacks speed - Button Jenson Button famously couldn't wait to get rid of last season's disasterous Honda car but winter testing didn't bring the kind of major improvement he was hoping for as the new Honda has still been languishing towards the back end of the time sheets. "It's a very driveable car, which gives us a good basis to build on," Button said. "It still lacks a bit of speed, but we've made improvements at every test in many areas and I'm confident that this level of development can continue throughout the year." Honda held a private three-day test last week and claimed to have made significant progress.- Fabio Cannavaro

Real Madrid's Raul: Liverpool striker Torres can be world's best tribalfootball.com - March 11, 2008 Real Madrid captain Raul believes Liverpool striker Fernando Torres is capable of becoming the world's best player. Raul, who like Torres started his career with Atletico, said: "I look at Torres and I see myself in that baby face - he has a lot of character. "There are plenty of talented players who don't have the desire that Torres has. Since he made his debut for Atletico, I've always said 'This guy's the real thing'. "I have no doubt he is going to be the player of his generation, for club and country. "Fernando can take advantage of pace, youth and desire. He is a great footballer and he will be even better in a few years' time. He has got it all - it's frightening. His speed is overwhelming. "He's big and strong and his head is in the right place, too. "He will only improve in the future, which is great news for Liverpool and Spain."- Raúl González Blanco
Raúl In Best Goal-Scoring Form Since 02/03 Real Madrid forward Raúl continued his best goal-scoring form in five seasons with his 13th league goal of the campaign against Espanyol at the weekend. His calmly taken penalty 18 minutes from time proved to be the winning goal as Madrid extended their lead at the top of La Liga to eight points over Barcelona. It was Raúl's 13th league strike this season and his 18th in all competitions, putting him two ahead of Ruud van Nistelrooy as Madrid's top scorer this campaign, but also confirming this season as his best for goal-scoring since 2002/03. The thirty-year old managed 7 goals in 06-07, 5 in 05-06, 9 in 04-05 and 11 in 03-04, and after four fairly barren seasons by his own high standards, seems to be getting back to his best in front of goal. He scored 16 league goals in 2002/03 and with eleven games still remaining in the season, there is a good chance that he could surpass that total by mid-May. Raúl may even believe that there is an opportunity for him to score over 20 goals for the fourth time in his career, following his 20-plus hauls in 96-97 (21 goals), 98-99 (25) and 00-01 (24). The goal against Espanyol was his 200th in the league for Real Madrid, putting him just 16 behind the great Alfredo di Stefano at the top of their all time league goal-scoring rankings.- Guti
Guti: Barcelona Are Down, But Not Out Real Madrid midfielder Guti told Marca that an eight-point gap ahead of Barcelona at the top of La Liga is far from definitive... The playmaker reflected on Barcelona's two straight league defeats that have seen the blancos regain a commanding lead at the top of the Primera. "We can't say it's over - Barc,a are not dead," he warned. "There are eleven matchdays left to go and plenty of points at stake." He added that the Bernabeu side have already seen their advantage cut once this season. "We went through a bad experience," he admitted. "We had a nine point advantage, and we saw how quickly it was cut to two. "From the outset we've said that the Liga is won in the final game, and anything can happen between then and now." Looking back at his side's ill-fated Champions League challenge, he concluded, "The truth is that this was awful as we wanted to go further. "We had very high hopes of doing something big. But, what's done is done, and now we need to look at the Liga, which is also a major title."- Guti
