Faith is simply faith. IF god(s) exist, there will never be solid proof. I thought the whole purpose of many belief systems and religions was to have faith in a being(s) larger than yourself without real evidence. Some people think a baby being born or some shit like that is proof of God, whatever. You do you. But to say people who don't believe in God are ignorant or simply "in the dark" is fucking idiotic. I honestly don't give a shit if there is or isn't a God. AND if by some fucking weird circumstance there is one, he/she is a fucking douche. Apparently God helps some people in the world "discover" science or help them pass tests but BABY CANCER still exists. Kids are getting raped by automatic weapons in Africa by assholes. If there is a God, I still wouldn't give three shits about him/her. I would rather rot in the fiery pits of hell being torn apart by hell hounds than bask in the glory that is God. But hey, maybe if I read the right chapters in the Bible, I will finally get that Hermes bag I have my eye on.

The problem is that Hispanics view fair skin, light hair and light eyes as a "treasure" because of how supposedly rare it is in Latin America and the European colonization has a lot to do with how they perceive light coloring. In European and Asian history, the fairer you were, the better since it signified you were wealthy enough to stay indoors. Sadly some cultures still have a warped mentality when dealing with skin color. But simply because you understand that glorifying white skin and light eyes is ridiculous, it does not you are right in putting other skin or eye colors on a pedestal. Because that just makes your point moot.

My father started lifting a tad too young and kept doing it for a VERY long time. He has some cartilage damage and heavy wear, especially in one knee (he didn't distribute his weight properly during dead-lifts for years). Other than that, he's pretty healthy. He hasn't done it in about a decade and a half, but he still lifts a weight or two, though he's really let himself go during these past couple years. You have no idea how excited I am that your dad put on weight. NO IDEA.

Feeling happy because of a compliment does qualify as vain. I am saying this as someone who is so extremely up her own asshole. I am the queen of vanity. No shame. I actually started to feel proud on compliments just like year ago. Before, I felt ashamed. I told myself no more - and now I rather do enjoy any compliment I get lol. Today, I´m tired. Been through a rough - do not want. Vanity gets a bad rap in my opinion. Being a bit vain feels AWESOME. It does wonders for self esteem.
