He was good as a drug addict in "Requiem for a Dream" I think Leto is more a niche actor, (maybe he could play a rockstar or something?) not leading man.

What is interesting is how little he aged (in the face). He was in 'American psycho' with Chris Bale. Chris' face is full of wrinkles and Leto is still a vampire..
