China is revealing itself to be a very cautious all the time and introverted in geopolitics. It suggests that they are well aware how vulnerable that their export/import oriented economy is to instability in the seas. This Iran 'special military operation' is obviously an attack on China as well, as Iran supplies China with up to 15% + of its oil. Above all it puts Japan in serious trouble as they get most of their energy from the area. imho Trump's goal was probably to 'shock and awe'/blitzkrieg in Iran with a regime change, hold the government hostage like he did in Venezuela with threats of mass murder and bombing. Then use the leverage of holding the Iran card to exact stronger tariffs on other countries. This is shockingly stupid if this is the case- that the Iran would go down that easily. Neither Bush, Obama or Biden wanted to invade Iran, and Bibi only found a willing partner in Trump.

@Matt! Trump's demands for other nations to help open the strait seems like a devious trap...to string them into the war with Iran by getting them caught in the crossfire and dragging other nations into the war.

It looks like Iran has settled on a daily rate of roughly 20-30 +/- missiles fired a day, with a similar number of operational level drones like the Shaheed. This seems to be their long term firing rate as they pace their stockpiles. It is unclear how much their underground facilities can produce to replenish the expenditures.
